Good Day Turned Bad (M, Female.)

Darious smirked slightly as he stood on the roof top. He was an assassin and his target was in the building across from him. He was only told that his target was in on the top floor room 798..."Great...This is gonna be fun." He muttered as he pulled out a small crossbow aiming it at the roof before shooting it and watching the wire twin unravl and stich into the wall. He then walked over and secured the crossbow before waling over and pulling out a chain tossing it over the rope with one hand and then grabbing the other. "Here we go." He muttered as he then ran off the building slidding down the rope and heading to the building across from him. He then braced him self as he smashed threw window and rolled to his feet. He then walked over to the door opening and exiting the room he came threw. He then looked down the hall way spotting two guards that were guarding the door..Darious then let out a sigh..."It's never easy." He muttered as he then pulled out 2 throwing stars before turning the corner tossing them at the guards hitting them both in the throat killing them..He then walked over to the door and then started to silently pick the lock. Soon the door clicked open and he stepped in pulling out his sword before walking into the bedroom silently spotting the person he was suppost to kill. When she turned around he had her against the wall the sword to her throat...But he froze...He knew her...He was told she was dead....Was he lied too..Thousands of questions went threw his head and before he knew it one of the guards hit him over the head knocking him out cold.

The guard looked to the woman.."Are you ok?" He asks her as he pulled out his gun aiming it down at Darious just incase he came too..."This is the man we told you about...He's been killing off every important person on our team...Obviously you were next....Ermmm last since your the only one left." He muttered as he grabbed Darious and then dragged him over to a chair before tieing him down..."Maybe we can find out who hired him." He muttered as he walked back over to the woman.."We'll wait till he wakes before we pull of his mask." He muttered.

Ariel was dressed in her silk dress that she was given by her new husband. She looks around as she heard someone pick her door lock. She readies her dagger in her sleeve just in case the person got violent. It was a man covered in silver metal armor and had his face covered by a mask. He pressed a sword to her throat but did not go through with the strike. She asks, “What’s the matter assassin? Lose the gull to kill me?” She jumps a little as the guard knocks the intruder out. She says, “Assassins are trained not to give up the person or people that hired them.”

Darious came too quickly looking around the room...He winced slightly due to the blow he took to the head. He then started to struggle against the rops before looking up at the woman...."Ariel?" He questioned as he calmed down..."I...I was told your died in the explosion..." He says his eyes though couldn't be seen because he still wore the mask.

The guard looked over to Darious pressing the gun to his head. "Easy there...I wouldn't want to splatter your brains all over the room." He muttered

Ariel looks at the man and says, “Sorry but I don’t know you.” She lost all her memory do to the head injury she got from the explosion. She looks at the guard and says, “Leave us. You know I can handle myself. I will let you know if I need help.” She makes the guard leave the room. She locks the door behind him and looks at the assassin still not sure who he was. She says, “You know my name and say that you were told I died in an explosion. Why are you after me?”

He looked to her..."How can you not remember me..." He says as he looked to the guard watching as he left the room and as she locked the door behind him.."I know you because we were once lovers....We were together for years...I was told you died in an explosion..." He says as he looked to her..."Pull my mask off please." He says as he then leaned his head down. "I was sent after you by my company..." He says..."They though I would have killed my last target at a distance..But I couldn't get a clear shot." He says..."And then I find out that your alive..." He says.

Ariel slowly undoes the straps of his mask as she was getting curious. For some reason she undid the straps very quickly like she had been doing it all her life. She removes it slowly and looks at his face unmoved. She says looking into his eyes, “I still don’t know who you are. You say we are or were lovers and yet I can not remember you. Although I don’t remember much of my past.” She gets away from him and sits down on the floor staring at the man in front of her.

He looked up at her his eyes saddened and filled with hurt when she siad that she still didn't remember him. "The explosion...Must have caused memory problems..."He says as he then sighed as he watched her move and sit on the floor. His eyes looked into hers. "I would never hurt you Ariel." He says closing his eyes slightly.

Ariel looks at him a moment and says, “We can’t be lovers. I have a lover who spoils me and he is coming here to marry me in a few hours. If we were lovers I would not be able to go through with the wedding.” She stands up and begins to pace back and forth as she began to think about this a bit. She looks at him and shows him a picture she keeps seeing in her dreams. Two golden rings locked together by a light blue ribbon. She says, “Tell me why I keep seeing this every time I close my eyes.”

He looked up to her...."We were." He says as he then looked ot her as started to pace back and forth he then looked to her looking at the picture..."We were going to get married...The day I was told you died in the explosion." He says lowering his head and looking down at the ground as all the memories he pushed away started to flood back.

Ariel looks at him a moment and unties him slowly so he would not try to hurt her. When he was lose, she looked at the drawing of the rings. Her eyes grew wide a moment as she remembers something. She says, “The ring the doctors found on me was your promise ring to me. You were going to stop being an assassin to be with me.” She goes over to her desk and pulls out the little ring in a drawer. It was on a part of the blue ribbon. She sits down and stares at the ring uneasy as her mind tried to remember her past.

He looked over to her as she untied him...He stayed sitting in the chair looking to her..."Thats it exactly...." He says as he watched her go over to the desk and pull out the ring looking at it..."You remember that much." He says.

Ariel looks at him and says, “I can’t be yours I have a lover who is coming here to marry me. I can’t be yours. I can‘t remember anything more. It hurts me too much.” She shakes her head as pain consumes her body. She begins to shake as the pain increases over her body. She stands up and goes to the window. She says to him, “You must leave here before it’s too late.” She opens the window and gives him his mask back.

He looked to her..."I can't leave you unless you truely want me to go Ariel." He says as he then took the mask holding it at his side..."Are you sure this is what you want?" He says..."If I leave you may not see me again..." He says.

Ariel looks at him and says, “Part of me that really wants to remember you, wants you to stay. But the other side of me wants you to go.” She places her head on his shoulder and says, “How long have you been doing this? Killing people from their special units, I mean.” she looks in the left back corner of the room where her wedding dress stood. She says, “My mind and memories are still foggy I can’t make sense of it.”

He looked ot her with a smile as she placed her head on his shoulder. "I've been doing this since we were together...And then I was told you died....I wanted revenge and my company pointed me in the right direction...And know I know your alive...He then moved back and then leaned in kissing her softly..."I'll make things easy for you...You'll never see me again." He says baking away from her.

Ariel stops him and keeps looking at him. She gently kisses him gently as she did not want him to leave her again. She says breaking the kiss, “I think the last time you left me, I couldn’t handle it. I may not have all my memories back, but I remember the feeling I got when you left me. I don’t want to feel that feeling again. Now we can’t stay here, they will send someone up here to kill you soon if we don’t leave.” She kisses him again as she was trying to get him to stay.

He smiles when she stopped him and then kissed him...He kisses her back and then looked int oher eyes listening to what she said. He then kissed her back deeply. "Then you want to come with me?" He asks her as he pulled his mask on.

Ariel moans softly as they kiss, she knew his kiss and his touch. She says, “Well duh but where will we go? I don’t want us to have to run all the time.” She goes over to her closet and puts on the rest of her weapons. She was wanting to leave here as soon as they could. She looks at her would be wedding dress and says thinking aloud, “Too bad I won’t ever get to wear that dress. It took me five months to make it.”

He smiles hearing her moan into the kiss..."I have a place." He says as he looked to her watching as she got her things together..."Bring it along if you wish." He says as he looked to her.

Ariel takes the dress and says, “Since when do you got a place?” She quickly looks around and makes her way out of the window and down to the ground below them. She tenses up as she could hear Nicholas coming their way. She hides in the shadows as he passes them angrily. He yells, “What do you mean he found her?!” The guard next to him says, “He was probably after you and found her instead. Still her memory of him, the baby she was going to have, and everything else is gone.”

He looks to her.."Its been a while love." He says with a smile as he then followed her out the window hideing in the shadows as well. He tensed slightly hearing what they were saying. When they were gone he looked to her..."He knows....I should kill him." He growled.

Ariel looks at him and says, “We were going to have a baby. That’s why we got in a fight before you went on your last mission. I was trying to tell you about the baby. I remember being so mad that day.” She looks at Nicolas as she starts to make her way out of the town. She motions him to follow her out of town. It would not take them long to realize she is gone.

He looked to her..."I see." He says as he shook his head watching as Nicolas left he then looked over to her following her our of town.

Ariel smiles as they get out of the city without being detected. She whistles a sound that only she and her horse can hear. Her horse breaks out of her pen and comes running at a fast speed. Ariel was not going to leave her horse here to be turned into meat because she refuses to let anyone else ride her.

He looked behind them seeing the horse comming. He then whistled him self. His horse too was on the way. "We have about a 4 hour ride." He says looking over to her.
