The Bloody Wedding (Mature, Reserved)

Before the war, around 300 years ago…
It was meant to be the happiest day of their lives, when they would be bound together in marriage. The dress was the traditional pure white with a train that fell gracefully behind her. She turned to her bridesmaids who were both dress in deep blue dresses that rested at their knees. Picking up her bouquet as the dress was fitted she could pick up their sweet scent. Calla watched in the mirror as her dressed was tied at the back, it had a low-cut back due to her wings. Her shoes had a small heel and she prepared to walk down the isle. Finally the music was playing the same beautiful melody that was at her mothers wedding as well, she guessed so anyway. Her father met her there running late as usual in his suit. "Sorry dear, I didn't mean to be late" he said in a sheepish voice. "It's ok, you're not that late" she said softly.

She walked up the isle and then when the 'I do's' came the church door crashed to the ground as angels came in and looked to the pair. "Get away from each other now" her father stood up but… that was not for long for he soon fell to the ground and soon enough the whole wedding was a massacre. It happened far too quickly to recall any details but… she did remember this. This day, the day that was the happiest day of her life was now the most sorrowful for it was the day she lost her entire race and also the day her lover went missing.

Present day…
Standing before that same altar she did when everything ended she let out a heavy sigh. The ruins of the church covered in virgin snow. If she and tears they would've frown in this cold but, she no longer had any left. Her eyes showed sorrow and sadness, it echoed in her now harsh voice. Her name had even changed… one to suit her current condition; Seclusion. For she was always alone now. Standing there now in black torn jeans and a shirt with her tattered pale blue scarf she began singing sweetly, a sad song as the memories all flooded back. When her song ended she stretched her wings and they turned a brilliant silver stained with blood. Standing before that vermillion calla lily. "Seems just like you I've become tainted with blood, your colour is fading though, has it really been that long?" she questioned "I wonder what happened to him though, wonder if he has changed nearly as much as I?" her voice showing she had been thinking back.

"Do you know Deadly today we would've been married 300 years had that event not happened?" she questioned the eerie white wolf, almost ghost like sat at her heels with eyes like golden flames.  Unlike her master who's mismatched eyes were those of blood red and cold amber. Her skin was as pale as the moon and from her neck down was riddled with scars. "Did you ever tell him…" "No I didn't, I planned to after we were married… I knew he'd accept it though but, such a thing still makes me scared" she sighed and ruffled her wings which had returned to their midnight blue feathers that looked as though they'd been dipped in indian ink. "But then again, I do wonder why he still insists on hiding even though he knows full well I can tell when someone is hiding and where?"

He sighed as he opened his eyes, as usual his sleep was haunted. No matter what time of the day or night it was. The images still came back. He was surprised he had not gone insane from it all. He was actually getting pretty annoyed from it at the moment.

Viktor got up and ran a hand through his hair, which was longer then what it usually was back then. Forcing himself to get up and dress. He headed out side, waving his hand slightly to make his hair immediately neaten up and tied back from his face. Good thing he stopped blowing things up on accident ages ago. Or that would have gone bad.

Standing outside on the balcony, he lightly scratched his chest, ignoring the many scars there as his dark gold eyes scanned the area. He needed to hunt, but first he had to figure out if anyone was out on the property. Flicking his gaze to the black lone wolf on the ground he gave a grunt. " well if your going to tag along you mangy mutt. You better keep up. " he muttered. Still didn't know why the thing wanted to even be anywhere near him. He figured it might be a wolf thing. Considering what he was now.

Shaking his head, he left his shirt off as he headed down the stairs, boots barely making a sound even as stepped off onto the ground and headed to the woods. Not caring if the black wolf followed him or not as he contenplated about what to hunt. Hearing a growl behind him, he glanced at the wolf and frowned." whats it to you ?. " another growl. then he rolled his eyes" fine. deer it is. seriously for a mangy mutt your a bit pushy . hope you know I can kill you with one hit. " he grumbled. When the wolf just snorted at him he had to give a slight smile. Well, least the beast made things interesting at the moment.

Moving away from the somber mistress Deadly walked out silently into the snow filled streets before picking up an oddly familiar scent. "Viktor what are you doing here and when did you get a wolf?" questioned the wise old she-wolf who's white coat blended into the snow as she sat down with only her amber orbs, focused on the man completely visible as well as her wet black nose. Seclusion wondering what the commotion was about walked out into the snow, her steps making a slight crunching sound as the snow was crushed beneath her feet with each step forward, her walk was not as graceful as it once had been. She turned her attention to the other pair, her eyes looking through streaks of coal black hair. Tucking some of it back with a pale finger she looked to the man before speaking "Viktor, what are you doing all the way out here, not even I remained in the ruins this long" her voice soft yet strangely cold. Truth was she'd been locked up for a good while by the angels.

Awaiting his answer she moved closer and circled him, one habit that had not changed over the years they'd been apart before stopping in froth of him and looking straight up into his golden eyes "Going hunting, and when did you get that wolf, it appears too strange to be a normal wolf" she said to him. She had changed great and seemed well… colder than she once was. It was as though that warmth that had once burned inside her heart had frozen. "Well are you going to answer my questions amor, you know I can't read you" Seclusion had the peculiar challenge of being able to read people's souls as did many of her race although hers seemed to be able to unearth the darkest of secrets. But with Viktor, she couldn't read him, his soul was blocked from her vision and had been for years before they had even started to think of marriage.

(Yeah it was fine, sorry miens a little short, quite sleepy)

His golden gaze immediately went to the other wolf, his body tensing up slightly before relaxing as he frowned. " Deadly.. " he murmured, perhaps he had gone insane afterall and was seeing things. He didn't trust his mind any more as he stared at the she-wolf. He slowly knelt down, staring at her for a moment before tilting his head, might as well answer the wolf, he couldn't feel more insane then he was at the moment. " Hunting. Just returned here weeks ago. " He turned to look at the black wolf who had just sat down feet from him. " him?. " he looked back to Deadly. " he is not mine. He follows because he wants to. He has no pack I think."

Hearing more crunching snow, he turned his gaze in that direction, golden eyes slightly widening. " Calla?... the twisted sisters are really fucking with my head this time." He muttered, standing up immediately." damn furies need to leave me alone. " he grumbled. Hearing his wolf companion growling at the woman he frowned then studied her, watching her as she did the usual and walked around him. Something he always thought was very interesting. He took a real good look at her this time. She definitely had changed since the last he had seen her..Perhaps she wasn't an illusion of his mind after all. " He isn't. then again he is. Riley just won't leave me alone. " he mumbled, rubbing his chin. " already answered that question.. Ask another."

He shrugged his shoulders" As I have said,just got here. haven't been long. Calla, where have you been?" He was still trying to figure things out.

(( XD he isn't crazy i swear. his mind has just been torturing him for years. so he seems a little bit odd. and no worries. i have seen shorter posts. XD

She listened to him and raised an eyebrow before she picked up something and watched his body language, something she and become very good at with him. "Well your body language hasn't changed much and I don't go by Calla anymore…such a name..lost it's meaning a long time ago" she gave a sigh. "I go by Seclusion now, it's simpler so to say and the true name hold much power over the owner" she ruffled her wings. "I've been around but I've had a lot to run for since then as I'm sure you know, I have a feeling you've had some of your own problems during this time, I can tell by the way your acting and the fact you thought you had gone insane when you saw Deadly" she said having read that from Deadly's soul with ease.

"So who are the twisted sisters, Viktor, more trouble coming after you?" she questioned him and looked to the wolf kneeling down she put a hand out towards it. "I might have sharp teeth but I don't bite" she said to him her eyes looking back up to Viktor, he was defiantly hiding something. "How have you been all of these years anyway?" she asked him. She brushed her hand through her hair getting all the snowflakes out of it before rising to her knees once again. "Also have you noticed anything strange over the years?"

He frowned as he stood up again, still keeping an eye on her. " name change huh. I should have thought of that." He shrugged as he eyed her. " definitely. but I do not talk about it. I prefer to ignore them. "

He watched as Riley immediately got up and went over to Seclusion. Giving a grunt he shook his head" traitor. " he murmured before sighing. " so why did you come back here then ? " He curled his lip up at the question of the twisted sisters. "The furies. they where charged with the task to drive me insane for the last few hundred years ever since that.... incident. " he all but growled from that before clearing his throat. " strange?. like what?"

Her gaze turned to the wolf "Be careful of your words, let's see Riley correct?" she said to the wolf her eyes turning cold. "I think you'll find it's against my nature to betray those I care about" her eyes closed as she said this as though thinking of something before her gaze raised once again to Viktor. "Now then why would they be charged to do such a thing, what have you done to anger them this time amor?" she said her habits around him seeping through still. After all habits die hard. Seclusion watched his movements once again. Something about what the wolf and said was bugging her. "Although furies are far more annoying than angel, for they are harder to escape but I assure you I am no illusion"

The wise old she-wolf walked forward and tugged at the scruff of the male wolf "Come" she said and lead him a bit away "What do yo mean by traitor?" she questioned. "and what are you really, Riley?" she asked in a voice laced with caution.

The young woman's gaze turned to look over her shoulder. "I see, I take that back, they can be just as annoying" a flame lighting in her eyes almost instantly she drew two daggers from their sheaths and called out to them before they moved forward. "Come back peacefully Seclusion, we mean you no harm" they lied and she saw straight through them, throwing one of the daggers she caught the first angel in the throat. "How about a no, I don't fancy spending another 300 hundred years locked away in a cell" she said bluntly. "Plus having my souls ripped from me hurt like hell" she snarled. "Also as for why I'm here…that…" she stopped, she couldn't tell him.

Deadly could smell freshly drawn blood and soon enough headed over to Seclusion with swift paws before turning into a double bladed scythe right before them. The twin crescent blades rested on opposites sides of the pole which had bloodied, tattered banged wrapped around it's name 'Deadly Score'. The silver blades emitted an overwhelming darkness, more so than before. Angels watched with caution when Seclusion picked the scythe up with ease, although it was a surprisingly light weapon for its size. The top blade reached just below her shoulders and was a medium to long range weapon. "Well you scared?"

(( lol Viktor was calling Riley a traitor because riley went to Seclusion. XD like i said he is a little odd at the moment. ))

Viktor rolled his eyes. " Not you, i was talking to the wolf. " he muttered, rolling his shoulders, brushing the snow off them as he eyed her again. " good, I don't want to explain why I am here either. " He tensed up the moment he heard the voices and turned, his golden eyes going to a molten gold , alot darker as he let out a low growl, muscles tensing immediately.

Riley blinked and followed Deadly , tilting his head and ears twitching forward. " I was charged to watch over him. By his own pack. " He gave a slight sneeze then shrugged" I am a werewolf. not an alpha mind you. " he glanced at Viktor" that would be him." he immediately went alert as well as he smelled the blood, immediately running to viktor, hackles raising as he skidded to a halt and faced the other angels. The air around him got a little more tensed, though he kept his size the same.

Viktor glanced at the angels then Seclusion as he frowned" who is supposed to be scared by a wee thing like that?"

Seclusion looked to him "Not you silly wolf" her voice harsher and her teeth snapped in her mouth, her feathers changing to their silver colour, difference was they were stained with blood. she twirled Deadly above her head with one hand. "Well then, Micheal, I know you're there so why don't you come out to play?" she smirked, that purity was long gone, another reason she and discarded her own name. "I'm not so stupid" said the archangel before them.

The smirk on her lips only grew before Deadly was placed into the ground she perched herself onto of the blade before speaking. "Viktor, cover your ears" she said waiting for him to do so, her fingers twitching as threads ran along the ground in silence, not leaving any trace on the ground before she began to sing, it was hauntingly beautiful but… the angels were in agony as they tried getting closer before their bodies stopped working. The threads had made their way to their bodies and were wrapped tightly around the angels necks. They were too scared to move a single step and they'd die. Moving back to the ground she kept singing and walked forward towards Micheal. At that moment her singing stopped. "Well, going to sacrifice these brave men to survive yourself?" The angel look furiously at her. "You should not be living, we killed you… we pierced your heart and soul, ow are you alive…" he said. "Now that… is something I cannot speak of." Her gaze slipping to where Viktor was "Feel fee to finish them off if you want"

He covered his ears immediately , glancing down at Riley and easily jerked him back ,sitting on him and covering his ears as well with one hand. He was pretty much hard of hearing in one ear so he just covered his good one. His golden eyes watching the scene before him. Getting more pissed off at the archangel, some of the familiar faces where bringing back those unwanted memories. It nearly drove him insane. He didn't hesitate to act on her words, the magic hit him hard and his body shifted fast into the werewolf he was. the pants he had on shredding instantly before he he took off running, hitting the first angel hard and had a wing ripped off them in an instant. His pure black coat nearly made him hard to see at night. (( ever see twilight.. he is that kind of wolf. huge ass beast as big as a horse.or bigger ))

Riley yelped and squirmed when Viktor sat on him, though the moment he was released , he got up and shook his furr out.letting out a low growl as he went after viktor, leaping into the air and hitting the angel that had been fixing to strike him. His teeth finding the angels throat easily.

Seclusion whistled and spoke "Wow, he really hasn't changed at all" she said picking up small parts of information from his soul and frowned "He still thinks he's seeing things huh?" she sighed and looked to Micheal as he watched terrified but before she could pull the string he cut them free and flew off. "Coward" she snarled and turned around noticing some of the angel moving towards her having broken free from her grasp. "Don't be fools" she snapped and Deadly was soon slicing through them as if it were nothing. Deadly turned back into a wolf and Seclusion worked on other angel avoiding any attacks and ending their life quickly. It was not long after that they were all dead. Their blood staining the virgin snow. Seclusion then turned to Viktor. "You still think you're seeing things, I can pick up that much" she then pulled him down and kissed him straight on the lips, her cold lips resting against his warm ones. Pulling back she looked to him "Now do you believe you're not just seeing things?" she questioned him. Deadly was rather shocked at first but then remember she had always been brave enough o approach him when he was like that even when she was younger, she just never held onto fear, not for long if at all.

All viktor could here was that blasted woman's voice in his head again, the giggling and encouraging to do nothing but kill kill kill.And he did, ripping apart any of the angels that dared to come near him.

Dispair giggled as she floated around in the air , circling Viktor. " Yes yes, rip them to bits little wolf. kill them. " She was practically dancing with glee as she touched his shoulder again, pushing more madness into him before she moved back, watching the carnage. " haven't done this since the last town you destroyed. " she murmured.

Viktor pretty much killed every bit of the angels he had his claws on before he shifted back into his human form, waving his hand and making pants appear, his growling deepened when the fury touched him and his gaze focused on Seclusion. curling his fingers into his palms.. kill.. rip apart.. blood.. kept running through his mind. He actually froze instantly when she grabbed him and kissed him, eyes widening in shock.

Riley had shifted as well and was actually pulling pants onto himself as he blinked in shock. his blue gaze never moving from them. " woah.... uhh okay.. yeah. looking over here. " he looked back to Ghost and tried to ignore the two before he glared at the fury. " seriously lady. can't you leave the man in peace for like.. a decade?"

Seclusion focused her eyes a moment "I see so that's a fury, how pathetic" she smirked. "I don't like it when people harm those I care about" she said but stayed close to him to ensure he stayed calm. Deadly looked over to Riley and shook her head, Deadly did have her own human form but rarely used it, for various reasons.  "Furies are annoying creature by nature, they will not be so easy to get rid of" said Deadly looking at the fury :Yes why don't you leave him alone?" she questioned Seclusion watching and listening "What did he do to deserved you torturing his mind?" Meanwhile she was thinking about how she sued to calm him down in the past whenever he got panicked like this. Although he'd never been this bad.

'"You can't hear well in one ear right?" she asked him softly speaking low and calm before moving herself, having to stand on her tiptoes and sang softly into his ear, a calming song, a lullaby that she had sung him before all those years ago. "Now then tell me am I an illusion or not?" her hands resting on his shoulders gently still but always alert to the surrounding environment, letting Deadly deal with distracting the fury and sorting Riley out as well by making sure he was decent.

Despair looked at Seclusion and snorted as she rolled her eyes. " Only doing my job lady and that does not include me leaving him be. ." she shrugged and circled around the two , watching Viktor as he seemed to calm a little. " That I do not know, the one who requested mine and my sisters services did not disclose that to us. " she smirked as she eyed Viktor. " We do not need to know anyways, he pays well. that is all. " she flexed her fingers a little, trying to see what else she could do to disturb the wolf.

Viktor closed his eyes, resting his forehead on Seclusions shoulder, giving a nod to the question about his hearing before he was lost in the lullaby she sang, the voices in his head actually stopped. Just like that. He rested his hands on her hips but did nothing more, just relaxing in the peace he got in his mind for once. He even ignored the fury as she spoke with Seclusion. When she asked the question, he gave a snort. "Definitely not an illusion.. for once. "

Riley shook his head as he looked down at Deadly then actually sat in the snow. It had been a while since he was in his human form, he sorta forgot how to walk on two legs instead of four. It felt so damn weird. . He ran a hand over the stubble on his chin. " Don't bother trying to figure out how to kill the wench.. I have tried. they just come back in full force and drive him insane even more.. .last time he wiped out a whole village over... say a hundred years ago ?. " he grimaced " Only way i figure is if we find a way to null the contract. "

Seclusion moved her wings over him in a protective manner as Despair circled them. By nature her race were protective but… they also only ever had one lover in their lives. So inter-racial relationships were rare at the time. "Her body isn't really here, that is her ghost, her spirit, her soul isn't quite here either it's how I can tell. We find the body we can kill the fury, plus I wonder what they taste like" she licked her lips a little. She and her own secret though, but it was something she thought best not to share with him, not just yet anyway. She heard what Riley said and gave a light sigh, "I see, well then what is the contract?" she asked him.

Deadly sat in the snow and looked to the pair smiling as she felt old memories reviving themselves between the pair as they stayed like that. Seclusion watching the furies every move not allowing her to manipulate him, at least when he was close she could offer some protection but not when eh was far away. Something then began to appear in her thoughts… why after all this time,a after they'd both changed so much was she still protecting him like before and singing him lullaby's, she'd acted on instinct yes but she didn't understand why.

"Might be best you return to your wolf form since it'll be easier for you" suggested Deadly as she walked over to the pair and snarled at Despair. "I suggest you leave quickly fury, she might not be able to tear you apart now but she can when she finds you" said the wolf. Knowing how her mistress would act. "Now then, that your calm can you tell me this contract you made?" she questioned him "and what have you been up to exactly over these last three hundred years, don't miss out anything"

the fury giggled and snorted as she floated around. " Oh dear fallen angel, he wasn't the one who made the contract. " she hummed as she flicked a hand towards Viktors hair, making the leather band dissappear so his hair was loose. " I like it like this, all wild and free, love it when he is on a rampage. the more he kills the more souls our master gets" she grinned before lowering to the ground and skipped around. " What do you care fallen? he is of no use to you, he is lost. His mind is in tatters. " she grinned as she twirled her fingers around, the snow following the movements lazily." even if you break the contract, how will you heal his broken mind? Ah but if you do find the male who made the contract, and say... destroy the contract. then we will leave him be. to you of course if you wish to pick up the mess of his mind."

Riley shifted immediately and snapped at the woman's feet, though he knew he couldn't harm her. " vile thing. " he snarled, glancing at Viktor, least he seemed calm, hell he hadn't seen that peacefull look on his face in ages.

Despair snorted as she glared at the wolf then at Deadly then at Seclusion. " I will leave for now. but we will be back you know. me and my sisters. we have a job to do. " with that she disappeared. leaving things as they where.

Viktor frowned as he opened his eyes. " wish I knew. who made that contract. "

"I managed to calm him down didn't I, that in itself I know if difficult especially with an alpha wolf" she smirked "Also I'm not a fallen angel, i'm far from one, I'm neither human, nor angel, not even a demon. I'm a utopian, an eater of souls so searching for a person who collects souls is like second nature to me, for we all must be able to see what we must hunt" She said to her and looked to Viktor. "How are you feeling?" she asked him gently. "Anyway let's go inside, the old library is still up and being cold as it is I'd rather go somewhere warm" she sighed and took his hand in hers leading him towards the one fairly intact building. It had a few rooms with beds in it as well which were used for the librarians when they had a late night and were too tired to head home.

The place reeked of that pleasant old book smell, it was oddly confuting and made a slight smile tug at her pale lips. "Deadly can you go get some firewood and I'll get the fireplace going" the wolf taking Riley with her to help out as Seclusion tried to search through Viktor's soul for anything that would help but as usual… nothing was to be found. "Honestly I still don't understand why I can't read you" she sighed as they reached the centre of the library which held a few plush chairs and a fireplace which warmed the entire place with ember flames. Returning with some fire wood she handed it to Seclusion who started a warm fire and looked to Riley "Can you go get his shirt Riley?" she asked "It's freezing so eh shouldn't have been walking around without one anyway"

Riley grunted as he followed Deadly , easily finding and digging out the dry wood that would burn better.

Viktor gave a grunt, sitting down as he closed his eyes. " I am okay I think.. Don't hear the voices any more. " He looked up at her and frowned. " I find that.. curious. what are you anyways. " he muttered, looking her over a bit. His hand in hers actually felt good. " where have you been ?" when she sent riley for a shirt, he gave a grunt" don't need one. Naturally hot." but riley went anyways. " heh. who would have thought he is another shifter".

Riley was fast, running in his wolf form and quickly going back to Viktor's place, finding his bag and grabbing a shirt before running back with the black shirt in his mouth.

"You should know what I am, i did tell you a long time ago. Utopians are creatures that eat souls, we are not human, or angels or even demons… but well there is only me left" she sighed. "and I'm naturally cold and as for where I've been… I was locked up since the end of the war.. I only got out a few days ago and came straight here…" she answered. "They considered me dangerous so I spent plenty of time sleeping in a cold cell well after the war obviously" she ruffled her wings on her back and gave a sigh. "Now then. put on your shirt and I'll go pep are us both some beds to use for the night" she headed into the maze of books to the old rooms finding two suitable beds she checked they were ok and then came back. "Hmm yes, well he's soul was rather stranger, like Deadly's but not as complicated" she nodded. "Anyway we need to get this contract sorted. and I do wonder if Fury souls taste any good, not tried them before"

Viktor gave a small grunt, running his hands through his hair before frowning, figuring he had lost his tie somewhere so just flicked his hand again, his hair appearing tied back once more as he got up and pulled his shirt on. " I see. Well, not as bad as what I am apparently.." mumbled, standing by the fire and closing his eyes again. " that.. definitely sounds horrible. " granted he had a similar situation,being locked up for a while before finally getting lose.

Shaking his head and scratching at his chin he frowned at her. " Have no idea how to get a furies soul. apparently their bodies are very well hidden. not even on earth from my understanding, then again i thought riley was just rambling on about crazy crap. "

Riley grinned as he sat down. " I am not the crazy wolf dude. " he mumbled before looking to Seclusion." Anything I can do ? I have already worked on trying to figure out who did it. " He pointed to Viktor. " i know this much. its someone he knows. but .. over three hundred years.. that is alot of people he knows. "

Seclusion sat down in the plush chair thinking for a moment. "I have a feeling… it might be someone we both know… and that they might've been at the wedding" she said to him. "If so that makes more sense, like a grudge against something and also explains why the angels seem to think we shouldn't be allowed to stay close to one another." she thought "But if they collect souls… I would know if another one of my kind was still alive. But then again some otter creatures have the horrid habit of collecting such things" she thought for a moment. "Anyway first thing is first we need to figure out where that furies body is, I know what her soul looks like so it shouldn't be too hard however, if I leave you alone I have a feeling you'll go out on another rampage" Seclusion was thinking, you could almost see the gears in her mind working when she was like this. Deadly lying down to the side of the chair. "That does make sense actually, but as for who and what, it's most like not an angel, maybe a demon, there were a few demon bloods in your clan Seclusion" "I'd still pick up their life signals" she frowned. "But some demons can fake death, they can make their soul pale to fool your kind" "but so can many creature Deadly, that's beside the point, but I do think it was someone there…"

Viktor frowned, he was getting a headache all over again, but this time it was just the general of the mill headache. normal. Not one brought on by madness as he closed his eyes and leaned more against the fire place.Reaching up to rub his temples. " To be honest.. I don't remember who all was there.. " the more he tried to remember, the more the headache got worse until he gave up and surprisingly the pain eased.

Riley sat up fast, his green gaze staring at Viktor. " You never said that before.. what is wrong with your head? getting a headache?" now he was suspicious as he got up and headed towards viktor. " tell me something .. when you try to remember, does the headache get worse? and when you stop , does it lessen?" As Viktor nodded. Riley swore as he paced the room. " well that changes things.. Definitely a demon. one that is good with curses and magic. thats for sure. "

Viktor frowned as he stared at the wolf. " now i am starting to think you are crazy Riley. No demon would dare to go up against me. or did you forget the last one that tried that?" he all but snarled that. pointing out the window towards the north. " As i recall, his body is scattered through out the woods in a bloody heap.. "

Riley stopped and stared at Viktor then at Seclusion. " honestly . what did you see in him?" he muttered before sighing. " that was a fledgling demon. one who was.. probably barely out of his years of child hood. so to speak. I am thinking more of an.. ancient. . one that has been alive possibly longer then the two of you."

Deadly thought for a moment "Well then such things would be my speciality then, I am technically a hellhound so to speak and I know quite a few demons who are skilled in curses. However, one in particular also cows Seclusion and… he was there at the wedding as a friend" she frowned. "But he has a very high rank and this old mind can't remember details. Seclusion's memory got sealed off, she can only remember a few things such as the wolf in which she was to marry that day" Seclusion gave a heavy sigh "because that day was both the best and worst day of my life" she muttered.

Looking to Riley she thought "Because, I felt safe with him, he was reliable and surprisingly was very sweet" she said "such things were hard to find in other males around here, I think he was visiting one day or stumbled across this place. Anyway for me finding a mate of any sort was difficult since many couldn't even beat me in a battle, no female will pair up with a male weaker than herself and well at the time anyway Viktor was far better than me" she answered. "So it's a mix of things really but, I did love him…" she paused as though she were thinking.

She ruffled her wings on his back "and don't worry I'll fix that mind of yours as well after we get rid of this contract." her voice softer for a change as she thought about where on earth they would find a high ranking demon. "These high ranking ones like to mingle with humans so even though I remember you hating civilisation if we want to get this contract nulled we need to sort it out soon" she rose from her seat "I'm heading to bed anyway, the night will end soon and we have a lot to plan for tomorrow evening" she said. Something had dropped on the ground when she had risen, it was a small ring, the ring he'd given her all those years ago when he did propose. Deadly had followed behind with non elf them noticing the small rung having fallen to the ground. Even after all this time she had kept it safe, it still glistened like a star while reflecting the dancing flames.

Changing from her clothes she stripped down to just her shirt and her female boxers  her wings stretching out as she prepared to got to sleep Deadly claiming a small old blanket to sleep on as she made herself a bed.

Viktor grunted as his mind wandered yet again. not even paying much attention to what they all where saying. Well other then the part about him going into civilization in order to fix things. That made him cringe a bit but he figured he might be able to do it. If his mind didn't go nuts again, and if the furies stayed off his back long enough for him to be lucid. He looked up at her at the feel of her wings on his back before giving a slight nod." If it is possible to fix.. I may be broken for life." he mumbled. Shaking his head again before sighing and watching her leave" Goodnight Ca... Seclusion. " he frowned, catching himself before glancing at the fire again.

He straightened up and rolled his shoulders, he was hungry but then ignored it as he moved away , stopping when he noticed something on the floor, leaning down he carefully picked it up, giving a soft smile as he studied the ring. Remembering easily the very day he had picked out the design for it.He glanced towards teh door where she had dissappeared through before flicking his wrist, a gold chain appearing in his hands as he slipped the ring on that and slipped it around his neck. He would give it back to her later if he remembered too. He still cared for her that was for sure, just some days it was hard remembering that through his broken mind. Walking bare footed, he found the bed she had gotten ready for him before laying down, his mind a mess as thoughts kept going through it, making it hard for him to go to sleep. " Will this even work Riley?" that question just popped out of his mouth but he found himself waiting for Riley's answer.

Riley shrugged, watching them all before he followed Viktor, his duties where to stay with the male, even if he wanted to wander off with Deadly. Flopping down on a pile of old blankets himself , he shrugged" One can only hope. I sure hope your mind is fixable. I don't think i can survive trying to make sure you don't massacre another village. " he closed his eyes" even if the villages have now become cities in this modern time.. Still can't figure out computers. "

The next evening was quick to arrive, that darkened veil falling over the once brilliant blue sky. Seclusion shifted awake as the sunset appeared colouring the sky in vermillion. Stretching her arms and wings she pulled her jeans and other clothes back on for the moment before she went to go find or rather wake up Viktor if he hadn't already awoken. Deadly at her heels as normal. Knocking on the door she waited "Hey Viktor, Riley you two awake?" she asked through the door before opening it. "Come on, we have a lot to plan and we might even be leaving this fine night" she said to him "But first, I think we both need to hunt soon, no one can work on an empty stomach" she licked her lips a little waiting for him to awaken. Deadly worked on waking Riley up if her wasn't awake.

Once everyone was awake she explained where the best places in the forest to hunt for deer would be around this time in the evening before she took off and went to find her own meal. She didn't have to go far either, coming back wit a few angels souls and Deadly with what looked like someone's arms. in her mouth. Settling by the old well she waited for him to return before eating her food almost as though they were nothing more than a bunch of apples. "Now then this demon I know is quite… well a bit of a womaniser I guess you can say but also gets envious of others very easy and I think he has used the furies before as well" she said to him as she recalled small parts about the demon she was thinking of. "There are plenty of strip clubs in a city to the north but some of the more famous ones are to he east so we might need to check out both and no we are not separating either"

She then went into the library and after much searching found and up-to-date map she'd made as a prediction a few years ago. "Ok then, well which one should we start at?" she looked to Viktor and Riley awaiting an answer from either of them. "and seriously don't worry about you're mind I'll find a way to fix it…somehow no matter how broken it is"
