A rare occurance (RippedNose ONLY)

"You would so easily believe I died if you tried again, wouldn't you?" Sora challenged him. "I can kill you before you kill me. I rarely drop my guard, and with you around here, I wouldn't even try for a second. You'll be the first to drop your guard, and the only to die here." Sora didn't plan on losing this war they had going on. He may have lost a couple battles, but so had Ryota. As the saying went, "I may have lost the battle, but I have yet to lose the war." That was what Sora planned on sticking with for the time being.

"Yeah, I'm not gonna let my guard down. When someone's passed out, it's cheating, geez" Ryota complained a bit in the end. "You're gonna be dead within a week, I can guarantee you" he was pretty sure of this, but he would feel like an idiot if he were wrong. Well, if he were wrong, he would probably be dead, so maybe not. He was going to win this, and that was all he was going to beleive. His confidance was way too high, especailly when the two of them were so evenly matched.

"A week sounds too hard for you," Sora said. "You sure you can make it in a week? Now, I could top a week. You? You could maybe handle a month or so without too many problems." Sora could kill most people within a couple days, give or take some hours. Ryota was different, frustratingly so. They were reaching maybe four or five days, maybe more, and he still had only managed to stab him a few times in a couple vital spots. That was it. Normally people hit the dust the first few times. Ryota was like a wall. Really hard to bring down.

"I could kill you right now if I wanted to" Ryota bragged, crossing his arms indifferently. "But there's no way you could kill me, seeing as I have less damage than you do. If I was less impatient, you'd be dead by now anyways". He regretted not waiting until his art was on top of Sora before exploding it, but he was afraid that if he didn't do it then he would pass out before he had a chance to detonate it.

"Yeah, yeah, if that's what you tell yourself at night so you can sleep, then keep saying it. Doesn't bother me in the slightest," Sora said, waving away his remark. Well...mentally waving it away. Moving his hand would require a lot of energy at the moment, and he was currently using most of his energy to shoot back comments to Ryota. He'd admit that he could have been closer to death, had Ryota waited a little bit longer to explode that stupid clay bug, but whatever. He wasn't saying anything. "I could have thrown those knives into your heart and throat, I wouldn't be talking," he said, since he had spared him and thrown them a bit off purposely.

Ryota rolled his eyes. "It should bother you, seeing as it's the truth" he said, nodding. He was too tired to be doing this, but there was no way he was going to let himself pass out again with Sora right there, seeing what he'd tried to do last time. "Mhmm, you could have, but you didn't, because you're too damn pussy" he said with a smirk. If he could have killed him, why didn't he? It would have been easy, the way Sora spoke. Unless he was lying, which wouldn't surprise him.

"Oh, so you wouldn't have minded dying, had I really aimed where I'd have liked back there?" Sora asked. "No, you wouldn't have the chance to mind if I had killed you back there. Still, it's like a game, or a hunt. I can enjoy it, even you're here and you're the one I'm trying to kill," Sora said, making a face. "You sure do like taking your life for granted, huh? When I could end it for you anytime."

"Nope, I wouldn't mind dying, but like I said. You're too pussy to actually kill me" Ryota stated, leaning his head back. "Hmph, I could kill you more easily then you could kill me. It's in my frikkin' job description. How many people have you killed? What, one? Two?" he wouldn't really be surprised, even if Sora was advanced at fighting, he may not have the guts to kill people that easily.

"You've probably killed one or two in a month, but I can kill more than fifteen in a week," he said. Give or take some, naturally. But his average would come up to about fifteen per week. "You might get fifteen every six to seven months, because you're too slow with your fighting style." Clay bombs were boring. You make one. Boom. Done. Where was the fun in that?Sora enjoyed knives because there were various ways he could kill people with them. Close combat, or target practice, or whatever he wanted. But bombs were bombs, even if they were 'art.'

Ryota raised an eyebrow at Sora's messed up theory. There was no way he only killed one or two a month. "You wish. Every time I go on a mission I end up killing at least thirty. Even if some are by accident. And my fighting style is nowhere near slow. You havn't seen how fast my art can go" he said, rolling his eyes. His art was the most exciting thing to him. It was never the same, no matter what others thought. The explosions were always different, creating art as they destroyed the lives of so many.

((I have yet to retrieve the mic from Jessi >o< Waaah, I need it. I don't wanna pester her, but I asked her roughly a week ago for it back....))

"Your art is boring. Try something cooler other then just, 'Katsu', and what not," Sora argued, "Just exploding is boring. Even if you have that nasty ripper sword, you can only swing it around. What good is that?" Now with knives, you could do all the fancy tricks. All the fun ones instead of plain and boring sword and bombs.

"My art is not BORING" Ryota argued loudly, glaring at the redhead. His art was far from boring. Unlike Sora's whole family's art. Now THAT was boring. "Exploding is not boring, but you may be too dull to realize that. YOu should really just sit and watch an explosion all the way through, and see how you feel about it after" he nodded at his own words. To him that would be enough to change anyone's prespective on art, other than Sasori and Nami, seeing as they had their mids set on the whole 'eternal' thing. "Who cares about fancy tricks with knives? Really all that matters is killing the person. Any way you do it is fun" he had been pretty much rbought up to think of killing as fun, so any way he took a life was fun, weather it was ripping them apart, blowing them up, or beating them to death hand-to-hand.

"I beg to differ. On all of that, actually," Sora threw in, "An explosion is an explosion. Nothing to it. Nothing to see and it makes you go half-deaf. Knives and the fancy tricks you can do with them; that's how you kill. Or something cooler. Not clay bombs. If you're going to kill someone, than you do it with style. You make it look as good as it feels to you. That would be to have fun with the target rather than just have them disappear into a million raining pieces of blood, flesh, and bones." To take lives didn't mean much to him. Everyone dies, can't be helped. No use in prolonging it either. You die. Not a choice, end of story. But before you die, get in all of the cool things so you've had your fun.

((uwaa~!! my brothers grades are so low so my mom is pissed and hes not allowed to go out tonight, so along with the fact that hes still here and i dont get the mic, hes pissed off and ranting and yelling and smashing things!! >.< its scaring me))

"An explosion is NOT just an explosion!" Ryota exclaimed. There were so many different types, and they were always changin, and always different, although not many people realized that. But he was an explosives expert. "You have nooo idea how wrong you are. Doing all that 'fancy' stuff is too time consuming, and you're more likely to get hurt. I can kill someone quickly, and they won't be able to hurt me, or even know I'm there, until I detonate it, but by that time they're already dead" he explained. He didn't care about the fancy stuff. Art was the only way for him, other than his sword.

"Sure it is," Sora replied, "Because all an explosion is, is something blowing up. Doesn't matter how or why, but it's just blowing up. You won't get hurt doing all the cool tricks, not if you wanna look cool and junk," he explained. "See, if you're good at it, you won't get hurt. I've been playing with knives for years and I have yet to injure myself with them." The beginning had been a little rough, because he had to rigorously train himself to get some renown. When he had become able enough he started playing a bit with what he could do, which led to his abilities now.

Ryota shook his head, even slightly pitying Sora. "Wow. That's really just sad. An explosion isn't just an explosion. I'm not even gonna bother to explain it to you" he said, shaking his head again. Explosives were probably the only things he knew. "Exactly, you've been playing with knives for a few years, and I've been playing with explosives my whole life. I can do all kinda of fancy stuff, but I choose not to in a fight" he gave a slight laugh, knowing this would be argued against as well.

"I'm doubting you can get fancy with anything, actually. Your definition of fancy must be something dull and lame, like your art," he said, rolling his eyes. "You took the explosive thing from your dad. Get a little creative, get your own fighting style that isn't family related," he said, though he doubted Ryota could.

Ryota growled angrily and waved his fist towards Sora, trying to hit him, but not close enough. "DAMNIT! C'MERE SO I CAN HIT YOU!!" he yelled, faliling his fist faster. He didn't even bother to argue against that, fed up past the arguing point. "YOU WANNA SEE SOMETHING CREATIVE? I'LL CUT YOUR INTESTINES OUT AND TIE THEM UP LIKE A NOOSE AND HANG YOU FROM THE CEILING!! SOUND CREATIVE ENOUGH?!" he yelled, reaching for the knife that Sora had used to try to kill him in his sleep. He would have no problem carrying out his threat, and the look on his face showed it. He was furious, and despite the pain in his body, he was going to do as he said, unless he couldn't.

Sora scoffed, "You're getting there, maybe." Which was all he had to say to Ryota losing his temper again. Not like he could do anything. Apparently their weapons had been cast off to the side so they couldn't kill each other. The only one that hadn't been taken was Sora's knife, which Ryota was going for. Not like he'd get it, but still. Moving his body as best as he could, and stretching, reaching for the knife, getting two fingers on the hilt and tugging it over. Once he had it in his hand, he put his body back comfortably. "Yeah, good try, good try. Now what? Huh? You still plan on cutting me open?"

Ryota growled again, his tempter rising even higher. "GIMME THAT!" he shouted, using most of the energy he had to awkwardly throw himself in Sora's direction, making a grab for the knife, and letting out a slight yell when he landed, mostly on top of Sora. He didn't care if he was hurting the redhead at all. Really that would just be a bonus. He wanted to get that knife, and he wanted to gut Sora with it, so he never had to hear the asshole's voice again.

"Gah! Get off!" Sora cried out, agonizing in the pain Ryota's added weight was inflicting. He made sure to keep the knife above them, though he wasn't sure if Ryota could reach. He had longer arms than him, maybe he could, but Sora was doing what he could to keep it away from him. "It's my knife. Find your own!" He pounded weakly against Ryota's back, trying to get more air and trying to get rid of the heavy pain. He was sure that even if they weren't that strong, if he hit where he had stabbed Ryota, it would hurt something awful all the same.

"No!" Ryota snarled, reaching for the knife. Despite the length of his arms he couldn't quite reach, being too low on Sora's body. "I DON'T CARE WHO'S IT IS!! JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN KNIFE!!" he was losing control, fast. The built up anger was finally bubbling over, from the past days they'd spent fighting. He hadn't completely lost it until now. He pulled himself highed up on the redhead to grab the handle of the knife, but his muscles were screaming for him to stop, as well as the pain Sora's hand was bringing as he was hit.

Sora coughed from the lack of air and pressure on him, pain included, naturally. "Get off! Get your own knife! They aren't expensive if you steal!" he snapped with what force he could add to his voice. "I'll stab you, I swear I will." He meant it. He would as soon as he got Ryota off of him, too. "Stupid!" he shouted, struggling with him for the knife. His muscles burned from the exerting task. Ryota was really heavy and his body wasn't in the condition for this.

Ryota looked at Sora's face when he coughed, raising an eyebrow when he saw the effect it had that he was lying on him. "You know what, no. Why would I get off if it meant you would be in less pain? Now gimme the damn knife! You're not using it!" he pulled on the knife, hoping that he was strong enough to pull it away. He didn't care that once again, they were in a rather suggestive position while fighting. He didn't notice really, but if he had, he wouldn't care.

"I'm using it, I'm going to stab you with it," he said, aiming a punch at where he was eighty-seven percent sure he had stabbed Ryota. "You won't need it, and I'm sure you don't even know how to use it the right way," he said, wishing Ryota would just get off and pass out or something. Maybe if he caused him enough pain he'd pass out again. He repeatedly threw his fist into spots where Ryota was sure to have been injured, trying to get him off of him before breathing became far too difficult a task.
