A rare occurance (RippedNose ONLY)

Sora saw both of his sides covered, knowing that evading, or trying to evade, would be kind of useless, since Ryota could control them. Taking the knives with the paper bombs attached, he tossed one for each side, aiming for the closest one and running out of the way. When one exploded, the other being so close, would have no choice but to follow in example. He saw Ryota crouching, preparing for an up-close attack. Sora ran straight at him, only pulling back to run the other way. His turns and stops were without friction, so they were smooth and easy. Even at the speed he was going. He ran to get behind Ryota to attack him from there.

Ryota growled slightly when Sora threw knives with paper bombs on them at his art, causing them to explode. He narrowed his eyes as the traveller ran right at him, and he tensed, to have Sora stopped and turned, behind him now. He dropped the kunai and grabbed the handle of the sword strapped to his back, yanking it out of the sheath quickly and spinning around.

The sound of metal clashing against metal sharply sang peircingly loud and annoying through the air. Sora let the friction between blades go (secret double meaning ^^), trying to throw Ryota back to get some running distance on him. Charging back, he tried to be evasive and still gain the length between them easily. Ryota may have his sword out (possible other secret double meaning) but he would still be able to create his exploding clay creations, Sora figured. He'd best be able to have either a knife handy, or be able to pivot and run.

Ryota was thrown back a few feet, and then he jumped back another few meters. He tossed two clay spiders on the ground far enough in front of him that if they exploded, he wouldn't be harmed. He formed a plan as quickly as possible, though none of his plans seemed to work. he held his sword out in front of him with both hands, not needing any more clay at the moment as he waited for Sora.

Sora stopped and chakra-enchancedly jumped away, landing on the ground several times before he found himself pretty much back where they had started. The clay spiders skittered after him, and he didn't think the knives could explode quick enough to get both at the same time. He could maybe just pin them down and leave them to struggle if they stayed pinned? He tossed a couple of kunai he had handy, sticking them in the middle of their bodies. He made sure to back away in case they exploded on impact. Now to go back after Ryota. He charged.

Ryota stood completely still and watched as Sora jumped back. He growled slightly as the knioves pinned them down to the ground but they didn't explode. He waited until Sora started charging at him, past the explosived until he made a handsign and yelled "Katsu!". He smirked slightly at the explosions, but he couldn't see the redhead through the smoke, so he wasn't sure if he'd hit him with the explosions or not.

Sora winced as the explosion managed to hit him. His left leg, which had been on the passing side of the explosion that Ryota had caused, had gotten most of the attack that fanned out when the main source had gone off. Now he was wishing he would have just tried and exploded those spiders instead of pinning them. He continued to run though, even if it wasn't as fast or well-balanced as before, the smoke covering the area would help with a surprise attack. Running to the edge of smoke, he jumped at Ryota with his knives brandished. He took a couple of quick slashes before backing off again and hiding in the smoke. It'd fade soon, but it was better to stay hidden for a second.

Ryota was watching the smoke carefully, but he still wasn't really all that prepared when Sora jumped out at him. He couldn't tell if he had hit him yet, but he was pretty sure he had. He hissed as one of the knives slived into his arm, the blood dripping onto the ground. He smoke cleared quickly and he ran at the traveller with his sword brandished, lashing out with the ragged weapon when he got close enough. He loved the effect that the sword had on flesh, ripping it apart with the unevernly serrated edges and barbed wire, instead of peircing or slicing.

Sora tried to pull his body back in time to avoid the jagged blade. He didn't remember fully what that blade could do, but he remembered it was best to avoid it if you wanted to live. His shoulder got cut by it, unable to move all of his body away in time. He bit his lip in frustration and pain when the blade nearly tore the skin from his shoulder. Lashing out quickly before Ryota used the sword again, he threw several knives for pressure points that hopefully hit, and brought the knife in his hand as close as he could to Ryota without getting too close to the sword, and slicing at anything on him. He pulled back as quick as he could this time.

Ryota grinned slightly as he managed to hit Sora's shoulder with the large blade, but the smile didn't stay on his face for too long. He tried to dodge out of the way as a few knives were thrown at him, but one grazed the side of his neck and he managed to get one in his side, the blade sticking in him. He winced and pulled the knife out, dropping it to the ground. The blade in the redhead's hand manged to cut his other side before he jumped back out of the way, getting his hand to eat more clay quickly, weilding the sword with one hand as he ran closer again, spinning his sword in his free hand before slicing at him.

Ryota was doing two things at once, and with the few injuries he had on himself and on RYota, the two were progressing in the battle slowly. That could unforutnatly mean that they were equal in power.....and that the fighting would only end when the both of them had worn themselves out or passed out from blood loss. The only thing he could do to help this was try to make him bleed faster. He didn't have that much on him compared to himself, so he had to move quickly. He threw a knife at that hand that was going for the clay, jumping to evade the blade coming his way. He went right for him, since he was above him, he could flip in the air to change direction. He brought the knives down as he aimed for Ryota.

Ryota knew that this was going too slowly, and that he needed to get more damage done to Sora if he hoped to win. He jerked his hand out of the way of the knife that was thrown, but the knife hit the bag of clay he had, cutting it so that most of the clay fell out, landing on the ground. He cursed loudly and glanced around, having been paying attention to his clay instead of Sora, which he should have been, so he looked up to see the redhead above him. He cursed again and swung the sword upwards with both hands, not pausing to see if he had hit his opponent before crouching down and hopping out of the way, for once not too happy that he was so tall.

Sora did his best to move out of the way from the blade that was pretty much blindly swinging at him. His opposite shoulder from the one that had previously been hit recieved a worse strike than the other, tearing the skin off most of his upper arm as well. He drove both the knives in his hands into Ryota's hopping-away form, just barely managing to stick one in his ribs, and missing the other. He hit the ground and struggled to pull himself back up, the wounds on his body now greatly affecting his speed and movement.

Ryota spun around to face Sora again just to get a knife in his ribs. He hissed and grabbed the handle, pulling it out. He ignored the blood that poured down his side, even if it affected him more than he tried to show. It hurt like hell, but he was going to win the fight. He could see that he had gotten the redhead's other shoulder, worse than the first one he had hit. He looked at Sora, who was pulling himself to his feet, and he ran at him again, swinging his sword in large circles until he got close enough, then lashing out a few times as quickly as possible, though it strained his ribs as his body moved with it, and his attack was slower than he would have liked.

Sora evaded the attacks as best as he could, thankfully this time they were slower. He could evade them better, though they each managed to graze parts of his body. He couldn't actually kill Ryota, but he'd have to stick a knife in him somewhere that would weaken him greatly. He got him in the ribs, which was a good blow, but he'd have to get him somewhere else. The back might be a little hard to heal later, and the stomach was actually one of those fatal blows kind of things. He twisted his body enough to manage to throw the knife at the arm RYota weilded the sword with, sticking it deep into the shoulder.

Ryota bit his lip as another knife buried itself into his flesh, sinking it into his shoulder. The sword in his hand slackened a bit, but he lifted it yet again, still using that arm since he was moudling another explosive in his other hand, hiding it in his sleeve so Sora wouldn't see it coming. He ignored the slight shaking in his arm, leaving the knife there as he lashed out at the redhead more, continuously slashing and spinning the blade. His cloak was torn in many places where he had been hit, and it was stained with his blood, which was dripping into the dirt slowly.

Sora couldn't get his feet to move as fast anymore. They were too evenly matched for this thing, even if they acted different out of the battles, they still somehow managed to be even. He couldn't do much more of this. He had to finish Ryota off really soon. He had a few paper bombs attached to knives left, so he could throw those. He didn't know if his arms wuold aim straight though. They were shaking too much because of the injuries and blood loss. He used the arm that wasn't torn up as badly, having lit the fuse early so it would explode a little close to the time it impacted or got close enough. If it didn't hit, he could use the smoke as a decoy to get close again.

Ryota was having troubles weilding his sword properly at the moment, and the loss of blood was making him dizzy. He needed to get Sora injured enough that he could win, so he pulled the clay spider out of his sleeve and was going to toss it when he stumbled back slightly, dropping it, where it exploded on impact, right between the two of them, sending him flying backwards. He hit the ground and passed out, but his last thought was that he hoped he'd gotten the redhead with that as well.

Sora staggered badly, feeling like he was about to throw up because of the blood loss and how weak he was becoming. When Ryota pulled a surrpise bomb h ehadn't seen before, and let it explode, the two were both caught in the explosion, and Sora flew back, hitting the ground hard. He felt his consciousness slipping, even though he tried fighgint it as best as he could. It was no use, though, and he knew this, though he didn't want to accept it. He couldn't get up anymore. He was too tired. Besides, he was sure that Ryota had gotten hit in that explosion, too.

Ryota struggled to pull himself to conciousness, and the first thing he noticed was that he was in alot of pain, and he was really tired. He blinked a few times and sat up quickly, holding his head with one hand against the dizziness. "Fuck. . . wait. . . who won!?" he mumbled the first bits. . . but he yelled the 'who won'. That was the only important thing to him at the moment. He didn't even know where he was, or who was there. He wasn't paying enough attention.

Sora groaned in pain when he heard Ryota's annoying voice pierce through his head as he slowly came to consciousness. "Ugh....shuuttt upppp, Ryota, you stupid idiot." He opened his eyes and wasn't in the least bit surprised to find both of them back in the base with bandages around their injuries. "Oh, and by the way, obviously I won. Look at how much more injured you are compared to me. I won, end of story." His shoulders hurt the worst, where that sword of his tore up the skin on his arms.

Ryota turned his head to glare at Sora, crossing his arms and surpressing a wince as he hit the wound in his ribs and stretched the ones on his arms. "Phht, you barely win" he said stubbornly, looking at the bandages on the redhead. "I think we need a rematch. Right now" he announced, uncrossing his arms to push himself to his feet, standing for a moment before his legs gave out and he fell. The blood loss made him too tired to really do anything, and he cursed loudly from where he was akwkwardly on the floor.

"Yeah, sure, let's see who wins when we're like this," Sora said as he rolled his eyes. Only Ryota would demand a rematch right when they were injured and weak. Sora didn't bother even trying what Ryota had just failed at. He knew he'd just wind up on the ground as well. Probably re-open all of his wounds, too. Like Ryota might have. Sora sighed, then wondered who had brought them in after they had lost consciousness. He didn't see anyone around, and he was pretty sure only a couple people in the Akatsuki could treat wounds.

Ryota growled and grabbed onto his bed, pulling himself up with some difficulties. "Well it's obvious that I'd win, seeing as you don't even want to, so you wouldn't be trying, and I would" he said with a grin. His logic made no sense, but he didn't really care. He looked around the room, gritting his teeth when he saw that his sword wasn't there, and neither was his remaining bag of clay, or his cloak.

"Your logic is stupid. You shouldn't even bother speaking or trying to sound smart," he said, glaring at him. "And I'd fight you if you were stupid enough to try and come at me now. You can't even stand right now, and you're just making it worse for your wounds, you know." Obviously he didn't know. He wasn't smart enough.
