Powers:primary ability is the manipulation of potential or kinetic energy. This is manifested both internally and externally, energy charges his body giving him greater strength, stamina, and agility than any non-powered human, as well as being able to charge matter resulting in the violent and powerful explosion of said matter through touch. The objects that he charges explode with a force somewhat proportional to the size of the object, though a playing card is as powerful as a hand grenade in Gambit's hands. Gambit has the ability to charge living as well as non living matter, though this ability is the source of much controversy in Gambit's life as well as the continuity and nature of the character. He almost never charges organic matter. Gambit is skilled in card throwing with great accuracy, and all aspects of thievery. One of his trademark tricks is to hurl playing cards at an opponent, charging each card and turning it into a deadly projectile.

History: His parents were killed when he was a child. He was then taken by his parents assassins and raised. Once Darious learned to control his powers he found you the truth and killed his "Adopted parents" and went out on his own. He eventually went out and got in to dealing cards thus why he carries a deck of cards with him every where he goes. He was also trained in card throwing, Hand to hand combate, And with the staff. As he was dealing cards he met a women names Katrina Gibbens. He fell almost instantly in love with her. There was an immediate spark between then. They stayed together for a long while. It was about 3 years before he found out that she was using him for his skills. She left him when she was finished with him tossing him out like a peice of broken junk.

Background: Korey was found on the steps of an orphanage they of course brought him in and raised him. He was told that his parents were killed by vampires. When Korey turned 5 he realized that he had some unnatural abilities. He kept these hidden for a while until he was 17 when he got out of orphanage and got his own place. With in the first day out he had a job. He was offered a posistion of an errend boy for a vampire hunter group. He took the job after knoing what he had to do and what all. With in the first six months he realised that his abilitioes were thoes of a demon. He was told by a friend that he was half demon and to keep it a secret all his life or he would be hunted. Korey of course listened and keept them hidden so far. Hes now 18 and still working for the originazation.
