Hello

Hello, I'm new here and I love to role play. I was wondering what anyone here liked to role play. I mean as far as settings and stuff. I'm trying to get a feel for this place.
I like all sorts of role plays. Anime based, sci fi based. I am a bit nerdy. I've played dogs, horses, dragons, humanoids, etc. So I'm open to new ideas.

Hey, nice to meetcha. I'll RP with you, I just want to warn you in advance that I may end up ditching it because I lose my creative drive quickly...but I can stick to it if ur good enough HAHA. Anyways, I'm always up for an anime based RP, any anime in particular? You name it I've probably read it.

Well let's see. My favorite animes are Inuyasha, Zoids (Chaotic Century/Guardian Force and New Century Zero, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop (though not sure how you make a RP from it), FMA.
I can also do Star Wars based role plays. Yes, I'm nerdy enough. LOL.

I feel ashamed of myself, heard of all of them , read 2, though I'm only on volume 3 of FMA so i wouldn't count that as 'read'. Anyways, I've never read or watched Star Wars, I'm solely an anime/ video game nerd myself. (Primarily Final Fantasy when it comes to video games but I've played a good chunk of First Person shooters too...) I've personally wanted to do a Bleach RP for the longest time, apparently I'm the only person I know who's read it, which is upsetting. But as for something we could do, I'm personally up for almost anything, I don't think I've ever done a actual 'sci-fi' rp per say, and I'd give it a whirl as long as the characters are human. I just need something to work with. I mean I have my 3 WMD characters who could come in handy for stuff like that but I've only ever used them in a sort of fantasy based...

I will go with any story you can come up with, if it involves my making a new character that's fine too, as long as I can understand what's going on.

Well, I haven't made a profile yet. I've been wanting to do a Zoids based role play. Doesn't matter which time period it's in. Chaotic Century or New Century Zero is fine with me.

You'll probably laugh but sometimes I'll even do a pokemon based RP... just for something a little lighter.

I haven't watched Zoids since I was like...5 years old. From what I do remember it would be something good to RP from. But I don't think I'd be able to do it unless I re watched the entire series again, which I currently can't do. Pokemon, I haven't done a pokemon RP in years, definitely something I'm familiar with though. HA.

Do you want to do one then? Maybe for something light? I haven't done a Pokemon RP in a while. I'd really love to do Zoids, too. I have the whole anime but none of the manga.

I can't find a manga of it. I will do PKMN unless you wanna come up with something original of course.

What about Wolf's Rain or Inuyasha?

Wolf's Rain I've heard of but haven't watched/read. I have watched most of Inuyasha though. Enough to know the characters and the jist of the whole plot.

Do you know if it's allowed to RP canon characters from an anime/manga?

it doesn't matter, I do it all the time. They say were supposed to put up profiles for all characters but with a character that's already developed I figure it doesn't really matter.

True... and I only ask cuz sometimes it's in the interest of the story to sometimes come across cannon characters.

ya alright. So RP wise what exactly do you have in mind?

How about something relatively simple to test each other out with? Maybe a Pokemon gym battle if I can be the challenger.

As for Zoids, there are some sites where you may be able to find episodes to watch online. So you could refresh yourself on the premise.

Ya i found a site to watch Zoids its more a thing that I'm not allowed to abuse my internet by watching anime all the time. I would if I could trust me. But I guess that's a good way to test it out. You pick a gym leader and I'll manage, the 4th gen ones and 1st gen ones are probably the ones I'm most familiar with though. Or the elite four of the 4th gen cuz i like the guy with the afro and ive fought them so many times i know them well.

Hey, by fourth generation do you mean Hoenn or Sinnoh? I can do most of the regions but not fond of Orange Islands.

Sinnoh. I've beat that game a goof 400 times, to the point where I'm almost sick of it LoL.

Oh, okay. I am a bit older so I've played all the games. Haha

don't get me wrong, so have I. I've been playing PKMN since the year it came out, which for me is saying something. I own 27 pokemon games currently. I've been a Pokemon Nerd for as long as i can remember actually.

Okay... i made my profiles and first post. I'm sorry it's so short but I have to go to work and won't be back until later tonight.
You know what would be cool, though, that maybe a random gym trainer with a chip on his shoulder greets my characters for a battle. My younger char could battle him (and lose).
