Price of Liberty, ((Open for All))

Space, such a stage concept it is, huge without comprehension but it is still mostly empty. Mankind has looked up at stars and dreamed about what’s up there since the dawn of time, some wonder if they were alone or if there really is something more out there. It wasn’t till man mastered interstellar travel that all question got answered, a deep space explorer vessel discovered alien life on a planet several thousand light years from the closes human colony. This discovery changed both species forever and an alliance was forge creating the United Planetary Coalition. With the cooperative action of both species did the technology of the UPC jump forward with several hundred years and a golden era was declared. But as part of human nature did the peace not last long, several planets declared them self independent from what they called the fascist dictators. One such planet was Gmar III a small densely populated planet.

It was a stage felling to be able to call one self free, free from the oppression of the planetary governor and the UPC finally free to do what one want with the planet. Zanni lied on top of a small apartment building looking up on the night sky. The news of the uprising and been all over the new for days now they called it a bloodless cue that ended with the execution of the government officials. Now did everyone wait and prepared for the response by the UPC military, Zanni waited as well he didn’t know what he would do once it all started all he knew that he would fight for his freedom.
“Zanni get down from there you know your not suppose to be up there.” A voice yelled from down the street, it was his sister she actually two years younger then him but still acted like there mom who had passed a way five years earlier.
“Sis you know that those rules no longer exist or have you missed the cue?” he joked as he climbed down from the roof.
