"Slept in last hour, probably gonna sleep in this hour," he replied, "then if I'm not awake by then the third hour will most likely cover that." He stayed up a lot into the morning, so then he'd catch up on sleep at school. Like today he had been up until four, getting two hours of sleep roughly, then running out the door from the fork. Sleeping through these hours didn't matter to him, he just hated fighting the urge to sleep in class and his head constantly bobbing because he was losing the fight.

Daishiro nodded, not surprised. He normally slept in class, which was fine with him as long as his boyfriend got enough sleep. "Nice. I got a good sleep last night, surprisingly" he said, giving a small smile. His parents had ignored him last night, so he wasn't up listening to them yell or rant about him or something. That happened quite often, and he didn't sleep in class, not wanting to get in trouble.

"Lucky you," he said, trying to remember the last time he got one of those. They sounded nice right now. Sometimes on the weekends he'd get half of one, so it was good enough. "This teacher seems to be really ignorant, so I hardly get caught. My next hour unfortunately, the teacher has the eyes of a hawk, so if I don't look like I'm doing something else she drops text books on the desk."

"Mhmm. It's been awhile" he said, blowing some of his back and green bangs out of his face. "This teacher is also a cow, so it's even better" he pointed out, rolling his eyes. The only thing he hated about this class was the teacher, since she seemed to ignore them as much as his parents did. Stupid homophobes could go burn somewhere. "I hope you get enough sleep. You could get sick if you don't" he pointed out, concerned for Maemi's health. He didn't want him to get sick or something from lack of sleep.

"Maybe, but I'm fine for now. I've been fine for a while," he said, rolling his shoulders to loosen the tension in his neck and upper back. "I'll be careful, but it can't always be helped." Sometimes the excuse was homework or something, or his parents locking him out or some other thing they did. "I don't mind, and it kills time in the day to sleep, so the day sometimes goes faster."

Daishiro smiled at his answer, glad that he was okay, but it wasn't gauranteed to last. "Hmm, good" he said, smiling again. He couldn't help but smile around Maemi. "That's true" he laughed, seeing the truth in his words all too clearly. Time passed too slowly during the day, but while sleeping time whipped by. "I think this class goes by fastest, since you're in it" he shrugged. Any time he was with Mae the time seemed to go faster.

"I know what you mean," Maemi agreed. "This class always seems easier and shorter when you're in it." When friends were in classes with him it was short, but not this short. Regular friends made time go a bit faster, but with Daishiro, time sped past him. It was a good thing and a bad thing because he got through an hour easy, but then he didn't see Daishiro very long. "I like classes with you, but it's too bad there's only one. We'll see what happens next semester though."

Daishiro smiled, glad that Maemi saw it the same way he did, even though he hadn't doubted it. "Mhmm. I hope we've got at least one next" he agreed, nodding. He wouldn't be happy at all if he didn't have a single class with his boyfriend next semester. The bell rnag loudly, causing him to jump, and he shot a quick glare at the teacher, knowing that the class would have to start, and Mae had to go back to his seat, once the teacher actually got everyone's attention.

Maemi groaned as the bell rang and the teacher tried to quiet them all down and get them to go back to their seats. After glaring at her and walking back to his seat, he put his head down and tried to get to sleep. He had to play along with what the teacher said at first, but after that it was fine. She didn't notice him sleeping for some reason most of the time so it didn't bother him. What she didn't know certainly didn't hurt him in any way.

Daishiro sighed as Mae left to go sit down, and their stupid teacher 'quietedthem down'. It didn't really ever work, until she raised her voice, glaring at them all. He lowered his head to his desk, crossing his arms underneth to create a pillow, loking at the teacher but not really paying attention. He glanced at his boyfriend every once and awhile, smiling slightly, but trying not to attract too much attention with that. Maemi looked cute when he was asleep, he had to say, even if he wasn't exactly sleeping yet.

Maemi didn't have to worry about a rude interruption or anything until the teacher dropped something really heavy on his desk or if a student decided to be 'helpful' and shake him awake. His arms folded underneath him as his pillow from the hard desk below him, he recalled the feeling of drifting off like last hour. Sleep easily returned to him and he dozed for most of the class. He was half conscious so he could hear words occasionally about the lesson. Then of course the teacher did her routine (though not well timed) wake up call. When speaking loudly and sometimes shouting didn't work for him she'd drop a dictionary or two on his desk by his head. With her dropping a couple he jolted awake, looking at her though ignoring her lecture about him sleeping through class again. When she walked away he shook his head, shaking the rest of sleep from him. Class was almost out anyway, so he didn't need more sleep.

Daishiro listened to the lesson, seeing as this was one of the only classes he actually liked. He did his work easily, glancing over at Maemi every once and awhile, only keeping his eyes there when he saw the teacher heading to his desk with a textbook. He sighed quietly, knowing that his boyfriend didn't want to be woken up, especially after not getting too much sleep. He glared at the lady as Mae was woken up, and she proceeded to lecture him, once again, before returning to the lesson. He looked back to his boyfriend and smiled slightly, feeling bad for him.

Maemi threw Daishiro a grin that said for him to basically not worry about him getting yelled at or woken up rudely. He didn't mind though he couldn't deny being slightly irked. Maemi's glance of pity was unnecessary because Maemi didn't prefer pity, nor did he ever ask for it. He could cope with whatever was thrown at him. Especially something like this, something to petty that it was to say the least, laughable. He gave Dai a quick thumbs up before shaking sleep from his head. Next class he shouldn't sleep, but he might doze off once or twice.

Daishiro smiled back, knowing that Maemi didn't want pity, deffinitly, but he couldn't help but resent the fact that he had been woken up. He looked back to his paper and wrote more down on it, running a hand through his spiky hair when he got stuck. He bit his lip as he thought it over, re-reading when he already had. He glanced back at Mae and smiled again at the thumbs up, then he stole a glance at the boy who sat behind him who gave him a glare. He had never really liked Daishiro, now not being any exception.

Maemi caught the glare the kid behind his boyfriend gave to Dai. He waded up a piece of paper and tossed it at him, quickly reaching down to grab his stuff on the ground so it was more of a casual thing than looking away. When he looked back up and peeked to see if the kid had caught on to him or not, sure enough he hadn't. Still looking, but he looked like he had a good idea of Maemi being the culprit. He snickered, which drew the attention to him. Shrugging he smirked, which got him a glare that meant nothing to him.

Daishiro's neko ears were down as he faced the front again, not too fond of being glared at, even though he should be used to it by now since it was normally all he got at home. He caught sight of the paper wad that was tossed at him from Maemi and he grinned, glancing back at him to see the kid looking around. He kept his laughter silent but his body shook with it for a moment. He mouthed 'thanks' to his boyfriend, smiling brightly. It was nice to have someone stick up for him, even if it was just from a simple glare.

Maemi found it all worth it for the mouthed 'thanks' from his boyfriend. Of course he didn't need to be thanks but it still felt nice that his boyfriend had appreciated the gesture. Maemi didn't often stand up for people except himself, but he'd always stick up for Daishiro. Didn't matter who was picking on him, whether he was a lot bigger than him or a girl, for that matter. He stuck up for him and always would, even if he got a couple more bruises in addition. Totally worth it. The bell rang and Maemi stood, cracking his neck and unstiffening his shoulders. He grabbed his stuff and walked along side Daishiro. "Okaaaay, so there goes the only good class in my schedule, so I'll see you later on, 'kay?"

Daishiro smiled down at his work now, just happy that he had someone who would stand up for him through anything. When the bell rang he sighed and stood up, grabbing his books. He looked at Maemi and sighed quietly. "Yeah. On to more boring classes. See ya" he smiled and kissed his boyfriend on the cheek before heading off the his next class. He had math now, which wasn't a good thing. It was the subject he struggled with the most.

"Yeah, later," Maemi said, waving to him. He had his worst subject next, but that was because he didn't always complete the work the teacher assigned. Not that he didn't know how or didn't have time to do it, but because he disliked the teacher, disliked the class and subject itself, and just really didn't feel like doing it at all. He wasn't failing quite yet since he kept it high enough not to fail and repeat the grade. Running to his locker he grabbed the stuff he needed though he didn't use it half the time. Basically the work he was choosing not to do was a language, he listened and got it, just didn't show he got it.

Daishiro swapped his books in his locker, which was along the way, and headed to math, sighing heavily. He slid into his seat, avoiding eye contact with most of the students, until one who actually spoke to him sat down beside him and greeted him. "Oh hey" he said, smiling as he looked up. One of the few people he could hold a conversation with other than his boyfriend. They talked until the class started, Dai feeling a bit better about the class, though it still wasn't great.

((At least it isn't seven hours a day like we'll be getting soon))

Maemi sat down and sighed. He was bored already and he'd only just gotten into his next class. He looked for someone to talk to, other than the people that avoided him or teased him. He found one kid who just didn't talk to anyone so he spoke to him for a bit until class started, even if the kid wasn't much of a talker.

Daishiro handed in his homework when the class started, biting his lip. He knew that whe he got it back there would be alot of red pen on it. The teacher loved to point out every little mistake he made, exaggerating how badly he did. He sighed and started working on the current work they were assigned, working through it slowly, biting his lip.

His teacher nagged them constantly to pronounce the junk no one cared about and would hardly ever use in life, since most of them had taken the extracurricular class to avoid getting anything shoved into their schedule, most of them had no plans of any sort to travel anywhere and use the language. And if they did, well, they still weren't doing it right so she was still pretty mad. Maemi rolled his eyes as she had him say something, then got yelled at because he'd said it wrong.

Daishiro worked through his book, biting his currently abused lip, turning to the kid who talked to him for help. The teacher never helped them very well, so the best bet was to ask someone near you, but there was only one in this class that would talk to him. Turns out the other kid wasn't too great at math either. He sighed in exasperation and ran a hand through his green and black hair, wishing lunch would come faster.

Lunch couldn't come soon enough for Maemi. Class was boring and the teacher looked as though they'd had a hangover or some sort, therefore they were in a worse mood than usual. Maemi could swear that the teacher was almost to the point where they'd hit the kids if they did something wrong. He didn't care since he was used to it, but he doubted the other kids were. He looked to the clock often to see how much time had passed, though the more he looked the slower time seemed to go.
