**For Fire**

Jack sighed and dropped onto his large bed, crossing his legs. He looked up at his best friend, who was over to help him with planning to score the guy he liked. He had no idea how this would all go, but he hoped it would be well. All he knew was that it would be difficult for him to get up the guts to ask. "So what the hell am I going to do?" he asked, leaning back on the bed. He needed help with this, having about no experiance. He was just planning on winging it, but that probably wouldn't turn out well, knowing his skills. He needed help, badly, and the best one to help him plan was right in front of him. He had liked this guy for awhile now, but had never really thought of asking him out. Hell, he didn't even know if the guy was gay or not. He might be straight as a board, or homophobic, or anything like that. But he was going to chance it anyways.

Hitoshi stood next to Jack's bed and rubbed his chin trying to think of an answer to his question. "Well, first lets think about our target..." He said, running one hand through his black hair. "So Damien Fang...grade 11, about 6 feet tall. Tan skin, and GORGEOUS. Wow...tall, dark and handsome." Hitoshi said with a short laugh, he could say the other man was tall as Hitoshi himself stood at five foot eight. "Okay...so aside from that, he's popular, I mean he has little minor girls all over him all the time. He seems kinda straight, but that could be a ruse, I have no way of knowing. So all in all, he's like...off-limits, but if you like him you should give it a shot." Hitoshi went on to explain. Leave it to Hitoshi to know all about the school's gossip and the people at the top of the school's food chain. Hitoshi was proud of his standing in the middle. "Now how do you think you should approach this?" Hitoshi said, ending in a question.

Jack grinned at Hitoshi's description of Damien, seeing as that was one of the biggest reasons he liked him. He frowned a bit at the fact that Damien was always surrounded, and appeared to be straight as a board, but it was worth a try. "Well first off, get him away from his fanclub" he started, thinking it over. "There's no point in asking if there's other people listening, because he's got a rep to keep safe". So it was either somewhere alone, or somewhere where nobody would be listening anyways. That was pretty much all he knew, seeing as this really wasn't his kind of thing. He'd never actually asked somebody out, so there was a problem there. He trusted Hitoshi with this though. He was probably the only person he would trust this with.

Hitoshi nodded, "Ya, but that's going to be hard, I mean I can distract a lot of his little followers." he started, "But, there's always that one guy that's always with him. What's his name...?" Hitoshi said ending in a sort of question, though he quickly moved on none the less, "He's going to be harder to get away from Damien...and i don't think it's a good idea to ask when he's there...just because of what you said." Hitoshi explained letting out a sigh and adjusting his beige vest. "I mean...i can announce that there's some sorta fight going on, that would get everyone's attention...no even better, i can get those little minor girls that like me to actually fight. That would deal with his fanclub, but you'd have to be there to like...grab his arm and keep him from leaving as well."Hitoshi explained trying to think this all through, but also trying to make sure Jack would be alright with it.

Jack nodded in agreement, knowing full well that it was going to be difficult. He didn't bother answering when Hitoshi asked what the guy's name was. He knew who he meant, and his name, but he wasn't going to interrupt. He stared at the ceiling as he listened to his friend, thinking of how well it would work. He couldn't see many problems with it. Hesat up and looked at Hitoshi, smiling. "Sounds pretty good. I'm sure it'll work, as long as I can grab him. . . everyone will want to run to the fight, so it'll be pretty good" he smiled, liking the way this plan was going. Once it got in action, he was sure it would all turn out well, as long as he wasn't rejected, but he tried not to think about that.

"Well now it sounds like fun." Hitoshi said with a wide grin, "I always wanted to see a couple little brats fighting over me." he stated happily, letting out a laugh. He sat himself down on the floor of Jack's room, but quickly letting himself fall down onto his back and stare up at the ceiling. "Now...you still have to have some clue as to what you're going to say to him." Hitoshi pointed out. "There is still plenty of room for disaster in this plan." He said truthfully, though he couldn't get rid of the smile on his face, he loved doing these kinds of things, it could be so exciting.

Jack laughed, knowing full well how much that would amuse Hitoshi. But he had to admit, that would be pretty damn funny. "Yeah yeah, I know. I wasn't just gonna walk in with no idea what I'm saying" he grinned, running a hand through his blonde hair. "Okay, so probably just get him away from the others when they go to see the fight, and then. . . uhh. . . ask him. . . crap. . . I've got nothing other than 'hey are you gay? If so, wanna go out?' which wouldn't turn out well at all" he sighed, resting his hand on his face. He really needed help with this whole thing.

"Well...that's no good." Hitoshi said with a frown, "You gotta try and strike up a conversation with him...maybe you could....ask him if he'd tutor you at the library of here or something...that way you wouldn't have to ask him in a school hallway." Hitoshi suggested, thinking it was a good idea, pretty sure that Damien would be able to help with school work. "I don't know though...he might think it's stupid to help a random sophomore with their homework or something..."

Jack nodded, knowing it was no good, which was the point. He didn't have a very creative mind in the first place. "Um, libaray's good. . . but you're right. . . that is a bit weird. . . " he trailed off, thinking it over quickly "I could say that. . . a friend of a friend said he was smart, and might be willing? I dunno, gets it a bit less odd. . . but he still might decline. . . " he sighed, running a hand through his hair. Why did this have to be so difficult?

Hitoshi nodded in agreement, that definitely sounded less weird, "That'll work. And you never know, he probably won't decline, because if he declines maybe people will think he is stupid but if you say that somebody said he was smart, he's going to want you to know that's true." Hitoshi explained wondering if it made any sense, but just to be safe he added a quick, "I think." to the end of the whole statement.

Jack listened to Hitoshi's explaination, nodding when he finished. "Yeah, you're right. It makes sense. Who would want to show the school that he's too stupid to tutor a sophomore?" he smiled, kicking his feet idly. If this all went well, he would be happy. "If it doesn't work, I guess it's back to square one though" seeing as they didn't have a backup plan at all, but he was pretty confident in this plan.

Hitoshi sighed and sat up, "well...if it comes back to that...I'm sure we can come up with something again." Hitoshi grinned in a relatively evil manner, "And, maybe, if Damien turns you down I can try my luck with him." He started to laugh as he fell back onto his back on the floor. He would never say Damien wasn't a beautiful person, who wouldn't want to be with him. Girls and guys alike, Hitoshi was sure, wanted to spend time and be around him, get to know him and try their luck. But. Hitoshi and his friend didn't even know whether or not Damien was straight or gay...

"Mhmm. It shouldn't be too hard, really" Jack agreed, staring at his ceiling. He looked at Hitoshi as he spoke and he laughed. "Phht, yeah, like he'd go out with you if he turns me down!" he joked, rolling his eyes. Anybody would want to be with Damien. There was no reason for his friend not to. He had thought about the whole gay or straight thing, but for now, he chose to think gay, but he may or may not be proven wrong.

"That's what you think. I can get anyone and you know that." Hitoshi said with a laugh, adjusting the open beige vest he wore. He knew that wasn't a hundred percent true, but he had, so far, gotten with everyone he ever liked, even if the relationships didn't last very long. "But, that can wait until after we find out whether or not he'll go out with you."

"Mhmm, suuuure" Jack nodded, laughing. He knew it was pretty much true, give or take. That was a great thing about Hitoshi being his best friend anyways, that he was good at this kind of thing, so when it came up, no big problem that was sure to fail. Just an amazingly awesome plan that was still likely to fail. "Uh-huh. It had better. Damn, I call dibs on his first!" he called, laughing. "You can have him if I can't though" he promised, grinning.

"Good, I already consider him mine." Hitoshi said with a smile and a laugh, simply trying to bug his friend now, it was to much fun not to. "Well...actually there is another guy I've got my eyes on...but he's straight as a board....aaaaand has a girlfriend. But from what I've heard around school, that's probably going to be over within the week." Hitoshi said with a grin, he loved his info sources. He was the biggest snoop in the school and the amazing thing was only Jack knew he was one. All his other friends just knew he knew everything, didn't know and didn't care how he found everything out.

"Don't count on it" Jack grinned, trying to sound more confident about this than he actually was. "He's going to be mine by the end of the week!" he proclaimed, crossing his arms. "Hmm, you're sure he's straight?" he inquired, knowing that he probably was. Hitoshi was rarely wrong with his information, thanks to his sources. He had no doubt that this other guy and his girlfriend would break up soon, but if the guy was straight, there wasn't much chance that Hitoshi could get with him unless he managed to change the guy's mind.
