General Appearance: Standing at 5'8" Silette is of a slender build and slightly angular in appearance. Her face is sharply cut, with a strong jawline, and cheeks that hold the faint reminants of hollows. Her eyes may appear vaguely wolfish due to their slight slant. Her skin tone is a very light shade of mocha, and a few stray freckles dust her nose and cheeks. A sharply cut nose and a generous mouth completes this image. Her stance gives off the impression of confidence and seems to say "I don't care what you think", that of someone who has struggled much and recieved but little. Bitterness edges her moves, a bitterness that has deepened due to time. Dressed for comfort, she wears a faded pair of loose jeans that are slightly worn at the cuffs, and a forest green hoody several sizes too big for her. She always has a ring of white gold studded with a small sapphire dangling on a chain around her neck.

Background: Silette was born an only child to a fairly well off couple in the northern of England, where she lived until the age of 10. Until one cold October morning, when Silette woke up, and realized her parents were gone, disappeared, without a trace. Her reaction could be described as a shocked numbness that has yet to disappear. For the next 6 years, she jumped from foster family to foster family, a life without roots or stability. At 16, she ran away. From what, she still wonders. Perhaps from the world. And now, for several months now, she is free in her eyes, leading the life of a gypsy, travelling with no particular destination in mind, coming and going at whim, a leaf tossed in the wind. Far away from the home she once had, she feels safe from being exposed. For food, she gets what she can from the wilderness, or begging in a nearby village if truly desperate. She knows this cannot last for long, but she cherishes it while it lasts.

Special Abilities: Silette's ability is that of darkness. She herself does not fully understand it, only having known about it for the past three years. She can summon dense clouds of black nothingness, void and dark, with slight concentration, but this "matter" disappears as soon as she does not focus on it. So far she only knows that it can render someone as good as blind for as long as they are engulfed in it, and that she can shape small amounts of it with slight movements of her hands.

Weapons: A staff of aged black wood, topped with a steel blade approximately 8 inches in length. Engraved in bright red is the script of an ancient tongue.

Personality: Generally she is calm and reserved, although her temper can flare abruptly, and at times she tends to have a slightly cruel sense of humour. She is generally curious and will pursue anything that intrigues her, delighting in all that is strange and interesting. Towards others, she is, although not hostile, at times cool and distant, and it takes much to gain her complete trust. She's not anti-social, yet she does savour her alone time. And although guarded, her inquisitive nature often shows through. Silette holds some sorrow and bitterness at the core of her heart, which she believes will always be there.
