Sebastian laughed loudly as he jumped in the air floating behind the young girl who walked in front of him. She had a large smile on her face and she started to hum a happy song. Sebastian smirked as he started to sing. She joined in afterwards, her voice high and child-like. Her childish innocence sent a shiver up the demon’s spine. He landed on the ground the metal heels of his shoes clicking on the cement. The skimpy outfit he wore didn’t affect him at all, it wasn’t like anyone but this girl could see him anyways. His long hair trailed to his lower back and was a shiny black with silver streaks and silver bangs. Large horns curled out of his head ending behind large ears that stuck out almost perpendicular to his head, the same ashy grey as the rest of his skin. A long pencil thin tail with an arrowhead tip hung from his lower back and curled just before the ground pointing back up again at the end. Small torn looking bats wings jutted from his shoulder blades as well, not really great for flying but he could glide with them.

He stopped his singing and put a hand on the young girl’s shoulder. She stopped to and looked up at him with a confused little face. He smiled kindly down at her running one claw like nail against her chin. “Shell dear, I’m very hungry. Would you mind getting me something to eat?” He said his voice womanly with an almost mother-like tone to it. Shell smiled widely and nodded, not saying a word. The two of them started down the street again when Sebastian noticed a relatively young man staggering down the street, the completely vacant street. “That one will do.” He said pointing to the young man, one hand on Shell’s shoulder. She followed the direction he pointed and nodded slowly upon seeing the man.

Shell took the long knife from underneath her clothes and walked carelessly across the street. About half way across the man seemed to notice her and he looked at her. “Hey, little kids shouldn’t be wandering around in the street, by themselves at night.” He stated, his voice was slurred and both Shell and Sebastian concluded that this man was drunk. Drunks were one thing Shell could not stand it brought back the horrible memories of her father. Her lips pursed in a tight line she lifted the knife; she was doing everyone a favour by getting rid of this man. Sebastian laughed behind her and the man screamed as she put an end to his life quickly, stabbing him in the side to knock him over, followed by repeated stabs to the chest. She stepped back when she was done and Sebastian went to work on the man’s soul devouring it with a satisfied sigh. Shell stepped back and laughed lightly liking when Sebastian was content with what she did. She did not pay any mind to her blond stained appearance used to it by now.

“Thank you very much dear, let’s head home, alright?” Sebastian said with a smile twirling around to face his little medium. She laughed lightly before taking Sebastian’s hand in her own and skipping down the street, her free arm swinging at her side, knife still clutched tightly in her hand.

Cain watched the news with his mother the day after another accident and they showed the body being towed away, covered in a white cloth. Cain shuddered, this had been the fifteenth murder in the past couple weeks and it was starting to get unnerving there seemed to be no connections between any of the victims and there seemed to be no hints left at the scene either and no one had ever witnessed one of these murders even though they happened in such obvious places. This one had been right in the middle of a street lined with stores, though according to some forensic data it seemed to have taken place at around one in the morning. Cain turned off the TV and turned to his mother who turned her head slowly to look up at him. “You should get some rest, the doctors going to be by later today to see you.” He said in a kind voice.

The older looking woman nodded slowly to him and smiled, running a bony hand through her son’s hair. “I’m going to go to work. Call me if you need me.” He told her the same thing every day but he always found it a good thing to say, he could never be too careful. She patted the back of his hand. “You be careful.” She said in her quiet, hoarse, voice. She had every reason to say that as well since he was going off to work as a waiter at a small cafe on the same street that latest murder had taken place. He nodded quickly before kissing the older woman on the forehead and walking out of the house, throwing on his jacket and shoes, appropriate for the early spring weather.

He walked down his place of work, not having any other way of getting their anyways. Besides he sort of wanted a reason to walk by the crime scene. It was empty now except for a couple police and a couple investigators. He didn’t see anything strange either so he decided it probably was nothing. It wasn’t like this murderer was just going to jump out of nowhere and kill him there and then. About this time he bumped into someone, he grunted slightly before looking to the people; a little girl who didn’t look like she could be more than ten hand in hand with an old man who looked worse than death. “Oh sorry.” He said to the both of them. The little girl looked up to Cain then to the man she walked with who just stared at the young man, he felt slightly put off by the look it really creeped him out, like the dead looking old man was looking into his soul or something. The girl looked back to Cain, “’It’s alright. It was our fault, sir’ is what he says.” She said. Her blue eyes seemed dull and her drown hair looked dirty but she seemed like such a cute little girl Cain was shocked. The upset tone of her voice didn’t suit the girl at all.

She looked to the old man again. “Well, I’m not allowed to talk to you now.” She said turning back to Cain, “Bye-Bye, sir.” She said walking away with the old man who hesitated a moment smirking at Cain. A shiver rushed down his spine he didn’t know what it was but the pair of them had been very creepy. He walked very quickly the rest of the way to work feeling a bit vulnerable out in the open now. He got inside and went straight to the back of the building putting on his uniform. He walked back to see Akira giving him a look from behind the counter. She leaned forward and seemed to be examining him over the top of her glasses. “What?” he asked with a shrug.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost or something, Cain.” She said cocking a black eyebrow and adjusting the net that kept her long black hair out of the way a visor covering most of that as well. Cain almost laughed at the ironic statement. “Thing is, I think I might’ve.” He said scratching the back of his head. Akira just rolled her eyes as the boss gave them a ‘get to work’ look from the other side of the room and Cain went on to start serving the morning rush of customers coming in to get their coffees and meagre breakfasts.

Leon yelled letting out his sudden fit of rage on a poor unsuspecting wall, easily cracking the surface. Almost an instant later his sister was attached to his arm. “Calm down, Leon.” She whispered to him frantically running her hand through his dark brown hair. The action though seemed to calm the older man. His quivering hands dropped to his sides and he dropped into a chair near the wall. “It’s alright...” she continued sitting down on the arm of said chair and continuing to run her fingers through his long hair.

It had only been a couple days since he wife-to-be had been murdered by the maniac who was running rampant recently. It infuriated him to no end and he wanted nothing more than to find this person himself and make them pay for what he had done to his life and to his future. He knew he had never been one to be completely level-headed, but this one event blew everything he had ever felt, when it came to sadness and rage, way out of the water. His sister, Wynn, had been there with him the whole time, but it didn’t make a difference no matter how much she tried it wasn’t like she could just replace the woman he loved; he didn’t think anyone would be able to. He had already vowed to not love again until he had avenged his late fiancée’s life.

“Leave me alone.” He stated sharply not looking up at his sister but sensing the pain she felt in waves as she winced and pulled her hand away from Leon’s head. She got up, despite herself, and left him alone. She was scared of him, it was horrible, but it was the truth, and he didn’t blame her. He was a terrible person who would even snap at a child if given the right prompt. He contemplated, though, going down to the café and getting something to eat or drink, but he was still in that state where he couldn’t talk to anyone, mostly for their own good, knowing he would snap and beat them if they said one thing out of place. Cain had been very close to understanding him, and did a good job of avoiding the subject but Leon could see it in his eyes, all the pity he really felt. Just the thought of it made him clench his fists and growl slightly to himself.

He stood from his seat and walked out of the house, walking past his sister who was kneeling next to her bed, not that Leon had paid her any attention. She could do whatever he wanted it had nothing to do with him. He walked out of the house without a word deciding he would go look, again, for this mystery murderer. He didn’t know how he expected to find them but he had a feeling that when he saw them he would know. Though, despite his looking, his eyes were aimed at the ground. He noticed a little girl giggle and skip by holding hands with an elderly man but thought absolutely nothing of it.

He ended up in some back alleys, in the area where his fiancée had been killed. He looked at the ground then up at the sky, where he stood was the spot her lifeless body had been found. The blood that had stained this area was gone, pounded away by the rain, no doubt. He sat down against an alley wall, not taking his eyes off of the spot trying not to be filled with the emotions that were threatening to overflow inside him. Rain clouds seem to be drifting in above him and his eyes finally drifted up as the smallest amount of spitting started, landing softly in his brown hair, he sighed and his eyes closed, if it rained any harder he was almost sure he would cry. His life had taken a horrible turn, and now like some heartbroken fairy tale or video game character he was out looking for revenge for his loved one...he hoped that this would end as most of these stories did, with good/love triumphing over evil, not that that would bring back his lovely fiancée.

~~~
Wynn stepped away from her brother as he ordered her to, she hated seeing him so in pain. It hurt her so much. She had already started to compare him to the way he had been when his fiancée had been alive. He had practically shone with brilliance; he had been the picture of happiness. Now he was dreary and demanding, scary and violent. It was a horrible contrast but one Wynn couldn’t help but witness. She retreated to her room and logged onto the computer.
Recently websites had been popping up all over the place about a devil that embodied people and judged the people of the world, banishing them to hell if they were bad. She had fallen in love with this idea, the sheer intensity of it, and the community it created, sent shivers down her spine and she was glad to be an active member here. The website she was joined to had an Admin who believed themselves a medium for their world and the devils world, he would often post messages and pass on and complete the tasks give to him by the devil. She loved this man, thinking of him as an idol, envious of the fact that he had been contacted by such a higher power and was constantly in communication with it. She wished this for herself but knew she was not special enough. She though tended to ask questions about her brother. She would post a list of names of people, as many did, and the Admin would look them over and send them back saying whether they were judged good or bad, and if they hadn’t been at all the name was left blank. Every time she had posted her brother’s name it had come back blank and she couldn’t help but worry.
She posted her usually list, just random names from people at her school including her brother within the lines of names. She logged off and kneeled down beside her bed, hands clasped together she prayed to the devil for her brother’s safety and the judgement of the people who had ruined his life. She promised, internally, that she would do whatever work she was given to do in return for this protection. An indirect form of ‘selling her soul to the devil’. She heard the door slam as her brother left the house and she sighed heavily. He had been going out and not coming back until very late since the murder, it was unnerving, and she sat there unsleeping as she waited for him to come home. He didn’t seem to realize he strife and ignored as he usually would.
She sat beside her window and stared out it as she watched the clouds roll in and the rain start to fall. She wondered if her pleas would ever be heard. She had no doubt in this faith she had but she would love to hear back from the real thing. A real devil, a demon, speaking to her. The idea sent a shiver down her spine and she tucked her face in her knees and laughed slightly. It would be amazing, that was all she could think about that. “Please...let me be your earthly guide...” she whispered to herself with a laugh. She let her head rest on the cold glass off the window and let herself listen to the rhythmic pattern of the rain on the other side of the glass.
The one thing that none of theese creatures shall we say... Hadn't noticed that was there was another creature who became enticed by the scent of death and who had not been in this place for so very long no one even remembered her. She has seen them all and enjoyed the 'show' with a double bladed scythe with silver blades tinted with silver and blood stained amber, a black handle with bloddied bandages.
The girl herself very young in age was pale skinned and held peircing mismatched eys of golden amber and blood red. the wings on her back were a pair of midnight blue wings, tipps tipped with a black as dark as black ink and had silver bloodstained underfeathers, her hair was kept relatively short and always remained coal black. SHe wore torn black jeans, a white shirt and a pale blue scarf.
Her presecnce was frightening but enchanting and her voice when she sang was angelic and held people in a trace at times.
She was hunting tonight and this place held so much chaos that she was enjoying the death inted air but smelling demons and a bloddstained little girl did not impress her in the slightest... she sang her angelic song waiting to see how long it took for someone to find her. Another game of hers old but it was fun to see how long the humans took to figure out where she was as the song echoed around.
But what intrigued her the most was this little girl... she didn't seem normal and to her seemed to be a puppet.
"How interesting"
She enjoyed watching this group of people the mystery was unfolding and she wanted to watch them... she loved to watch the humans take their sweet time in figureing out such easy things although a devil and a girl would not make a reasonable solution.
Sebastian froze for an instant, his ears, standing perpendicular to his face, perked up some at a foreign sound. An angelic song, it sounded very distant but his ears had immediately focused in on it. He sneered and laughed, unable to help himself. It seemed as though things had gotten a little bit more interesting. Another non-human being had seemed to enter the mix of people in this fair city. He glanced at the window and laughed, surprised by his own inability to keep it back. He hummed along with the song, unable to help but sing with the creature that created these notes. He hovered in mid air his tattered wings hardly moving to keep him aloft. He knew that whoever was creating the sound wouldn’t be able to hear him, but he knew it would be very amusing if it could. He was very much looking forward to finding the source of the song sometime.
Shelly, the young girl he accompanied looked up at him, tilting her head in a confused frown. She was playing with a doll, something she had gotten from a young girl and mother that she had murdered a few nights back. She had been brushing its hair but now held the fake blond hair tightly in her hand as she looked up at the demon floating on the other side of the room, holding his legs and staring out the window and smiling looking very childlike. He sang and she wanted to know why, she wanted to join him, as she always did. She stood up walking towards him, sitting where his tail nearly touched the ground. The doll abandoned completely she wrapped the wire thin tail protruding from Sebastian’s back around her finger, humming along the demon though she still had no idea what had sparked this tune.
Leon’s head jerked up as he heard a song drift across the air. A beautiful voice that froze him completely, sending a chill up his spine. He stood up looking around; all the anger, all the depression he had felt had seemed to evaporate, seeming to be replaced with an unquenchable urge to locate the source of the beautiful song. He opened his mouth to call out to the creator of it, but his mouth snapped shut quickly. Ran still ran itself through his brown hair but he didn’t care. He walked out of the alley before looking around as though trying to figure out which way he should turn from here. The thought that he may just be crazy, imagining all of it, was very prominent and he was very tempted to go see Cain. The thought was dismissed though as he started onwards, searching for the source, wondering if the owner of the voice would notice his searching and give him a hint or if he would become lost searching for it.
Seclusion looked below her and saw the souls that it stirred her scythe spoke softly to her as she remained siging letting it enchant them. She looked at them andstopped the intruging pair of a devil and a little human girl seemed both annyoing and interesting.
But you see Seclusion was no angel, she was far from it and kept sining watching as they tried to locate her wit a slight smile across her lips as she sang. Deadly Score the scythe which lay on her back provided the perfect melody for the song but it always seemed to attract others with ease.
She would not give them many clues or atleast ones that were very noticable but this game she hadn't played was becoming interesting.Although knowing that a devil was in the area and was far more then annoying but made her blood boil. Not literally of course.
She waited not moving as she sat on the edge of a building and lifted her headd slightly to the pale crystal moon in the sky.
She laughed lightly and finished her song breifly "I wonder which of them will find me first, this'll be an interesting game, so many people, so different. Deadly what do you think?" "very interesting and for a devil to be on earth seems rather strange" "for me to be here is strange... 50 years after those angels and demons sealed me and I finally got free" she said and watched them as she sang a bit more quietly than before seeing how they'd all react.
She laughed getting a bit board she wanted to test how clever they were and sang her loction by weaving it into the song.
she kept her voice echoing for a bit and then stood up and took a step off the building and she shot to the ground and spread her wings at the last mintue and flew silently through the night looking around this new city she was planning to use as her hunting ground for a little while.
when the night ended she found a place to rest since she prefered to hunt at night but night after night the song was different but itwas always the same voice.
One night she finished her song and spoke to the scythe which lay on her back.."how fun it is to watch them try to find me. a few were effected more though, how interesting" Eahc night she had weaved her location into the lyrics. To those who were clever enough. they would find her, others would most likely get lost.
Leon couldn't help the fact that he had to search for this sound. There was just something about it, something about it that made him feel like he would follow it until the ends of the Earth. Thoughts vanished as he listened to lyrics, wondering if they had any sort of meaning behind them. He could understand nothing from them, none the less he followed and followed. When he felt the overwhelming feel of fatigue take his body was when he finally left for home only to hear the song while he slept and again in the morning just to follow it yet again. Day turned to night though and it seemed louder then it usually did and he wondered if the source was nearby. He looked around, he had been about to say something when another line of song covered the one he had been listening to, a voice so much more evil sounding a song in a key that, in combination with the lovely song he had been listening to, made him cringe. He covered his ears and looked around, not seeing anything.
Sebastian had brought Shell out hunting again. The song had continued on for quite a while now. He was all to aware of the location of the one singing the entire time, having built up a sort of radar, he could easily tell when something not human was in his hunting grounds. Shell had done a very good job of getting him some food, the souls of a young couple who had clearly been going hope after a happy night out, just the two of them. He paused, flying behind Shell for a moment before he landed and put a hand on her shoulder, "Stay here...Stay hidden. I'll be back for you in a minute." He said before taking off again, launching into a song echoing like the other singing in a non-human tongue in a way that mortals within the area would hear him.
The music stopped and he stopped his as he landed softly behind the creature who had been making the sound, "Watch them find you? Are you playing a game with the humans? And you all make my race seem so horrid, at least I don't torment them. You've had one or two following you until they've been on the verge of passing out." He said standing with his weight on one hip, crossing his arms, his long pointed nails dragging against his own snow white skin. His long hair fell about his face but did not get in the way. He couldn't recall seeing a creature like this one before, and he was instantly fascinated by her. "Now what, pret ell, are you doing on my hunting grounds, girlie?" He asked, but his voice sounded more amused then demanding.
"Oh looks like somone found me for a change" she said and turned around to see him. "I can do what I like and the likes of your kind mean nothing to mine" she said sternly her voice full of hatred as her eyes peirced through him to his ash soul "As for my game, it is up to them whether they follow it or no, I do not control their minds or desires, not even their souls" she said "and as for if they pass out, the choice is there's, I tell them my location but it's fun to watch sometimes, especailly after being sealed for 50 years by angels and devils" she said "and what do you mena by all, there is only me and my partner that is all, also it seems you don't even recall my kind, how intrigueing such a... unknowledgeable devil" she said chuckling lightly as she perched herself on her scythe and streatched her stiff wings. "why did you come here?" she asked curious of an answer. "Also who ever said this was your hunting ground, I eat different foods than you, so what do you care?" she said and grinned slightly a sharp row of pointed teeth was in her mouth.
For fifty years her and her partner were sealed it took the lives of serval angels and devils in order to seal her due to her strong will. But the problem was it warped her slightly considering she used to be more kind and used to care... but for some reason a frozen heart gave her a lack of emotions but hatred was one she would never forget and the thing that brought up that hatred was the fact that her world was now a graveyard, the place she used to call hom lay in ruins and held the body, soul and spirit of nearly everyone of her kind within it.
Sebastian smiled, elongated canines protruded over his bottom teeth, as he let out a laugh. The hatred in her eyes were quite a sight, he himself found it quite funny. "By 'all' I wasn't limiting it to you, but to mortals and even angels, my kind is the scum of this planet." He corrected having been able to tell that she and this partner of hers, he did not take her words as an insult, "I wouldn't say unknowledgeable, I personally find myself quite brilliant, maybe I simply have no care to recall the past after so many years they all start to run together anyways." He said with a shrug, his sharp scarlet eyes slipping shut for a moment. She asked why he came here and he hummed thoughtfully as though seriously thinking it over, he let her finish what she was saying, he clamped his hands behind his back and took long strides, the very tall metal heels of his sandals clicked against the solid ground much more then even the long razor sharp nails at the end of each toe which nearly scraped the ground while he walked. His wire thin tail swished back and forth behind him in a sort of rhythm. "I came here because I think I have the right to know what creatures have started to occupy my domain aside from me...I don't care what you eat, I have taken pride in my being the only supernatural being in this area for quite a while." He explained turning back to the winged creature perched on top of her weapon. Her wings were much more impressive then his own which were small and tattered hardly able to carry him. It was a shame to think he could no longer fly with these leathery appendages, the thought bringing up horrid memories, that were gone with a blink, long black lashes brushing the top of his prominent cheeks. "And what are you doing here? Seeing as you don't like the question when I word it as my own area." He asked again.
She listened quietly as he spoke and then chuckled lightly again "But unlike them I have my reasons, however, comepaedto the angel who still hunt me Devils are so persisstant and don't seem to care much" she said "and being the only one is the area? how much can you be mistaken, they may not be pure bloods like you or I but they are still half" she said "Indeed, where there is one there are others" said a dark voice almost motheringly but dark. "and I am here because I need to hunt, If I don't I die but I also have to protect my usual Domain" she said and then looked up breifly. "I also wish to know why you are using a little girl to hunt for you, I will not tell you my oponion but surely even you can hunt for yourself?" she asked as she folded her wings in tightly and sat cross legged on te scythe. " and I thought you said you did not wish to remember the past it seems you just remembered such a horrible memory from your wings". She was clever and very attentive but being able to read the soul was the same as being able to read somoene's thoughts but it could be used mroe accuratly and also unlock everything about them if she wanted. "Also the quailty of my food source isbetter here than a lot of places"
Sebastian listened as she spoke and slowly his eyebrows started to draw more closely together. As she finished he let out a loud sigh and turned to face her, resting one hand on his hip. "Since you seem to good at mind reading I'm surprised you can't tell why I use the little girl to hunt, why my wings are destroyed." He hissed sharply, "Because I was exiled, don't ask me why, because even I don't remember the fine details. I use the girl because she can see me, I can't come in contact with the mortals unless they have the ability to sense me, so I can't really do much to kill them. It's a shame I can't simply rip their souls out. He put his hand out to his side a dark shadow forming a long weapon with a curved end. His hand tighten around the shaft and the shadow dispersed leaving a completely black scythe in his hand. "Unlike your lovely weapon mine is a little worse for wear." He ran a finger along the blade of his weapon which was tattered and broke like his wings, "I can't severe that Earthly bond between a person's body and soul, so I need the girl to kill them for me." He said. He swung his weapon around and slammed the bottom into the ground beside him and turned to face the city, a smile pulled onto his face, "It's quite amusing seeing this tormented little girl murdering anyone I tell her too because she thinks of me as a 'trustworthy' person. It's so sweet." He said with a laugh.
"basically you are deciving a girl and staining hers with your own" she said and the scythe on her back turned into a pure white she-wolf with gentle amber eyes and it sat at the feet of the girl. "and I do not read the mind but the soul and wheather the bond is earthly or not can depend on what they are and how many souls they have" she said "also have you ever tried jsut ripping them out, surely everyone knows that they will grow back afterwards. I'm pretty much exiled my sister hates me despite being dead already, I always wondered how she became queen, silly Pandora" she said
"also back to the girl you are tormenting her as much as I am with my game, I need to hunt for mine and my partner's food but unlike some we do not leave a trace" she said.
She was right, she ate the soul and her partner ate the Body, blood and bones. "Your name is Sebastain correct?"
Sebastian sighed, he twirled his weapon again before it disappeared in a flash of smoke. "I only feed on mortals...maybe I'm picky like that but I don't care..." He said with a shrug. "I was personally never one to get my hands dirty, and besides the girl follows me of her own free will I am doing nothing to her." He said pouting slightly not particularly a fan of how he was being chewed out like this. Shell was brought back up and he shook his head again but he couldn't help the pointed grin, "Isn't it more fun leaving something behind though. It's so funny watching the mortals freak out about another one of their being dead. It's not like I try to avoid the area either, I like to walk her through the area, no heads turn." he said with a smile. He finally looked at the animal who had sat at her feet, he had never been a fan of animals and this one was no different he couldn't help his lip twitch up in the slightest feeling of disgust. "Yes, my name is Sebastian. What about you, what's your name, girlie?" he asked.
She spread her wings and gave a sligh bow with her wings following the motion of her hands. Even she knew basic manners and the She-wolf did the same and they both lifted there heads and her wings folded again. "I am Deadly Score, former residant of Hell and Partner of Seclusion" she said her voice sounded much more gentle than the girls "I am Seclusion Ash Soul, Guardain of Utopia and last of the Alma family" she said "and we do not wish for humans to know our exsistance, they betrayed us once and the result was fatal, one more time and I might as well be the dead walking" she chuckled lightly "Plus is much more fun to tease them with the melody of an angel"
"If they beilieve such innocent pure creatures exsist then they have much to learn" she said as Deadly looked up as she spoke.."Now, then Seclusion. We should be leaving soon...Or they will track you down again" "Why not, They are such a tasty food source" she chuckled.
Her mismatched eyes showed a child like amusmant now, as if she was playing with a toy as she saw white feathers fall and an Angel landed and she looked to them grinning "what pleasure do I owe the visit" she said and taunted the angel mercilessly before he snapped adn attacked her... She simply ducked and ripped both it's wings out as it fell from the building staying in one place she looked at the wings and smiled slightly sitting down as she plucked the feathers and heard a crash before she dropped the wings and watched as people crowded round the now dead angel.."I prefere Angel souls, they taste a lot better and are an easy meal, plus their sweeter" she said turning herself around that child-like amusment still hung in her eyes as she laughed lightly
"Pandora, Pandora who open the chest?
Was it you? was it me? or was it the snake?" she chanted nochanlantly
