Magnuscouldn't help but grin when Alec jumped, looking so oblivious. He gave him an innocent look under the glare. Or at least as innocent a look as a man with rainbow spiky hair and glitter could look. He could tell that the glare wasn't exactly meant. He had seen the full force of the black haired teen's glare a few times. All he needed right now was somebody to help him to show how to put a straight jacket on somebody, and he sure as hell wasn't going to ask anybody else there to help. Especially when Alec was right there. He picked up one of the jackets off the floor and held it up. It looked pretty complicated, but luckily he had had to force people into them more than once, for one reason or another. "Alright, Alec, hold your arms out in front of you" he instructed. He gave him a smirk, knowing that Alec was going to try not to enjoy it, as much as he could, but he himself was going to just love this.

Alec tried not to grimace. He really did. He was trying not to almost as hard as he was trying not to blush, which, he didn't think was actually working. His face felt hot so he must have been flushed. He did as he was told, and averted his gaze from Isabelle and Jace. Clary wasn't a looker in the first place so it wasn't that hard to not look at her. Why did Alec have this feeling that Magnus had done this before and didn't know this from just common sense? "If we're non compliant and or knocked out while someone is restraining us, how does this work, exactly?"

Magnus couldn't help but laugh quietly. Alec seemed to be trying so hard not to blush, but it really wasn't working. "Relax" he whispered in his ear, passing it off easily as he pulled the sleeves up the boy's outstretched arms. "Well it's easy enough to get on, the sleeves are big enough to slip on. One size fits all. It's just easier for me this way right now" he explained. And it would mean less contact with Alec, which meant less blushing, which meant a happier Alec and less questions. Which was ultimately a good thing. He pulled the back of it closed, standing closer than was necessary behind him, and buckling it closed behind him, leaving his arms for a moment. "It may seem hard to figure out when you look at it, but it's not that difficult, as you can see" he said, working with his long fingers easily.

Alec just kind of let it happen. He wasn't sure what the others saw here between the two, but he was trying his hardest to let them see what he wanted them to see. His hardest might not have been very effective though. Isabelle was grinning like a fangirl, Clary, just watching like she was learning from her Mundane classes or something, and Jace, apathetically cleaning his nails, even though he'd just gotten out of the shower. Must have been bored was what Alec figured. At least he wasn't watching the spectacle of Alec trying his very best not to look suspiciously gay. With his boyfriend. Who happened to be doing a hands on project with him right now.

Magnus reached his right arm around in front of Alec to grab his boyffiend's left one, and brought it across his body to the buckle and cinched it on, so that that arm was immobile, before doing the same with his left and Alec's right. He was using as much contact as he could without being obvious to everybody. "It's not very hard, see?" he said as he moved around the front and buckled a strap that bound the two arms together where they crossed. "Now Alec couldn't hit me if he tried. Unless he kicks me. . . but that doesn't normally do as much damage. This is what are used on insane Mundies. So if one of you goes insane, somebody PLEASE use it on them" he said in a slightly exasperated voice, knowing full well that they would find his plan foolish, while it made plenty of snese to him.

Alec had to admit that he'd never been positioned like this, and he'd never thought he'd be in a straight jacket. Albeit this was simply a demonstration, but he hadn't even thought he'd be in one for these purposes. How much fun was Magnus having right now with this? Would straight jackets even keep the other people safe? Headbutts did kind of work when you propelled yourself forward, though it was a one chance shot. Feet? You had to stop and kick to do that. They'd be running away from them by the time they stopped and lashed out probably. Alec didn't really want to be in the Mundane contraption for much longer. He didn't want to look too off about this. "Umm....are we done?" he asked timidly.

Magnus knew the jackets weren't exactly foolproof, but the only attacks that could be done with one on wouldn't be very powerful, and the Shadowhunters would almost deffinitly be able to dodge. He looked at Alec at the question and laughed. "Yes, but I think I quite like you this way. Whit is a nice change. Although I do think you should add some colour to your wardrobe Shadowhunter" he said, smirking. He snapped his fingers and the jacket turned the bright blue colour of his eyes. "There. That's perfect. Now, anybody have any further objections to my marvellous plan?" he asked, his glare immediately settling on Jace, who had still not put on any clothing, much to his annoyance.

Isabelle had snickered, Alec just knew it. Magnus had to say something to draw them on, didn't he? The first part of his sentence had been off, while the rest wouldn't have been as....noticeable, maybe. "Uhm...." Alec had began, sort of objecting to being in a straight jacket the color of his eyes. Maybe it was just better he didn't say anything. Jace still didn't look all that suspicious, but if he found out, would he act suspicious? "Are we done playing....dress up?" he asked, " 'cause I'd love it if you'd take this off for me..." He almost winced. Did that sound weird? He had a bad habit of saying things with double meanings and never knowing it until someone snickered and explained.

Magnus laughed. He would love to play dress up with Alec. His mind briefly went over all the things he could force him into. It would be even better if Alec did it willingly. Although he was sure it would end up being dress-down instead of dress-up. Hmm, he would be more than pleased to take it off for him. He'd take anything off of Alec. All he had to do was ask. "Of course" he said, grinning and moving closer to undo the arms, and then the back, pulling it off and snapping his fingers so it turned back to it's original white colour and he dropped it on the floor. "Now, any questions? At all?" he knew he had to ask, since at least one of them would always have one. Most of the time it was either Jace or Clary. They were deffinitly related. Both extremely obnoxious.

"Questions? What could we need answers on for this?" Jace asked, seeing the point of this plain and simple. Mundane tools of restraint, no problem. "We need your expertise on the every day Mundies' tools." Clary muttered something like "Mundane's don't really use these every day" or something else, though no one really cared or paid attention because she was rather unimportant in this equation. Excluding the fact that they'd just found through her that their minds could be controlled. Or just hers. It was empty enough for something else to make room in and take control of.

"Um...that's okay," Alec replied, having no questions what so ever for this. Maybe later, but not now. Who knew where the conversation could lead to if he kept this straight jacket thing around. "Now what?" he asked, since they'd just finished with this demonstration, and now all they could do was wait for something to happen.

"Hmm, I don't know, I find it fairly simple, but with you four, most question's I answer are either obvious or irrevelent" Magnus said with a shrug. He was glad they had no questions, since he didn't exactly feel like answering any. He ignored what Clary said, but he agreed with er weather he knew it or not. But that wasn't the point. He had work to do, and he knew this would end up being boring, and hold many long nights. He wouldn't be putting as much work into it if it weren't for the fact that Alec was living there. His gaze slipped to Alec easily when he asked a question. "Well now I'm going to go home and start working so nobody else here goes all 'Phsyco Killer From Hell' on anybody. Now Jace, put some clothes on!" he sighed and started walking down the hall, hoping Alec would follow him so he could say goodbye more privately. Unless Alec wanted to go with him, which was perfectly fine with him as always.

Jace groaned and stalked off, holding on to the towel as he walked back to either the bathroom or his bedroom. Clary looked like she was tempted to follow him, but held back and looked for something else to look at or do. Isabelle just went to her bedroom, and they heard a locking sound this time when she closed her door. She wasn't apparently about to take more chances of being chased by anyone who decided to go psycho. Alec assumed Clary had left somewhere when he had gone to follow Magnus to the door. Magnus would know when Alec was following him, since Alec tended to shuffle when he was out of Shadowhunter mode.

Magnus gave a sigh of relief when Jace finally went to do something about his appearance. If he saw him in a towel one more time he was going to force clothes onto him. He heard the unmistakable sound of Alec following him, so when he reached the door of the Institute he turned around to lean on the doorframe while he waited for Alec to catch up. "So are you going to stay here or do you want to come home with me?" he asked once the teen was within earshot. He twisted a lime green strand of hair out of his eyes with long fingers absent-mindedly.

He could honestly say that he would love the latter of the choices Magnus gave him. They had, before the incident of Clary going nuts, been in the middle of something rather heated. Going home with Magnus might make up for the time they'd just lost. "I...might be needed here..." though Alec wasn't usually needed around the Institute since everyone had lives here. He did have his cell phone on him, and it was always on, so they could call him. Chances were it would be Isabelle calling and she would know where he was and why. "You aren't going to be....busy when you go back to your house?" he asked, though he wondered how soon Magnus planned on starting on looking into this. Knowing the warlock, it probably wasn't right away. They had time if he wasn't intending to start straight away into this.

Magnus could tell that Alec wanted to go with him. Just by the look on his face, let alone the way he was speaking. He laughed slightly when he said he might be needed. He didn't think they would need him, unless someone else when insane, and he didn't exactly want Alec around some phsycopath Shadowhunter, no matter how skilled he knew his boyfriend was. "Hmm, I'm going to be busy when I get home weather you come with me or not. What I'll be busy with is a different question entirely" he said with a grin. Pretty much his own way of saying no. He would get to work on it that night some time, but not right away. Especially not if Alec came with him.

"Umm..." Alec was hesitating just slightly. He really did want to go. Magnus said he could be busy. Did he want to snag the warlock's attention from what was endangering his friends? Selfishly, yes, but then, it wasn't really right that he got what he wanted just to risk his friends a little longer. "Would it be all right?" he asked anyway, wanting to know if Magnus wanted him to go with him or not. Usually Magnus had to beg him to go over his house, so he didn't seem to mind Alec coming over. He also had a key, that had to have some significance that Magnus didn't mind being bothered if Alec happened to stop in whenever.

Magnus sighed at Alec's hesitation. He knew the black-haired teen would give in eventually. "Of course it would be alright. You have a key for a reason. I would kick a customer out of my house if you wanted to just show up. You should know by now" he said, running brightly coloured nails through his equally as bright hair. He would get to work on this problem once Alec left. Really as long as the boy was at his house he didn't exactly need to fix the problem, since he didn't really care for any of the three who were there.

"Erm...okay," Alec said. "I guess I'll go with you to your house." He'd be bored in the institute anyway. Nothing to do but listen to Isabelle talk through the walls because they were so thin. He didn't need to hear her talking to Meliorn. He didn't need to hear Jace and Clary arguing, or Isabelle and Jace. That was annoying. He had nothing to do, and because his usual way of staving off boredom was cleaning, he couldn't really clean anything since it was already done.

Magnus smiled and took his hand, kissing him lightly on the temple. "Good. Because I do believe that we were rudely interrupted before" he whispered, grinning. He opened a portal in front of them easily and stepped through, towing Alec, right into his loft. He was sure that they could get much more productive things done at his place instead of them both in different places doing pretty much nothing. Even if it didn't count to many people as productive, it was to him.

Alec had barely time to blush at what Magnus had stated before they had walked through the portal he'd created and stepped out into Magnus' house. Upon exiting the portal, he shifted closer to Magnus and held his hand close to him. He usually wasn't one to initiate what they did, but he did agree that they'd been interrupted before. He leaned into Magnus and had to look up to reach his mouth. He didn't know much about cosmetics, but apparently lipstick didn't come off too much when you kissed.

Magnus smiled when Alec leaned into him, and he kissed him. He wrapped an arm around the shorter male's waist, but kept his other hand with Alec's. "Aren't you glad you came home with me?" he breathed before kissing him again. He for one was deffintily glad. He would rather have Alec just never go home. That would make his long life better than he could imagine, but he knew the Shadowhunter wouldn't agree to it, as much as he wished he would.

Managing to breathe out a positive reply to Magnus' possible rhetorical question, Alec shyly deepened the kiss as he added more to his side. He felt safer doing these kinds of things at Magnus' place because all he had to do was worry about a phone call interrupting the mood, but at home, he had to worry if someone would burst through the door saying they had something to go to.

Magnus smirked at Alec's response to his question. He moved one hand up to brush through the teen's black hair when he deepened the kiss. He was hesitant about it though, he knew. The Warlock loved how innocent he was. He ran his tongue along Alec's bottom lip, nipping lightly, as he pulled him backwards, seeking the couch he knew was around there somewhere. He just wasn't exactly sure where. But he knew he would find it. . . eventually.

Alec moved with Magnus a little unsure. He wasn't sure where he was being guided to, but he trusted Magnus. Alec couldn't stop his free hand from reaching to Magnus' hair and tugging at it gently, the other hand which had been locked with the other's let it go and laid it flat on his boyfriend's chest. He could feel it moving with every gasp and pant he took, and he could feel his heart pounding. The back of his legs hit something, and he automatically lowered himself to it, knowing Magnus and he could remain lip locked and still move positions.

Magnus had a general idea of where he was going, kind of. He let out a light groan when Alec tugged on his multi-coloured hair. The hand on his chest felt strangely reassuring, not that he needed it, but it was nice. His heart was racing, and he knew Alec could feel it now. When his boyfriend started to sink downwards he smirked. Bingo. He had obviously found the couch. As Alec sat down he moved with him, straddling his hips easily, running his fingers through his hair. He broke away from Alec's mouth for a moment to trail kisses down his jaw, before back to his mouth again.
