Dimitri had gotten lucky that the she vamp had fallen for the fact that he had been feigning sleep.His hunger was beating at him though he still held enough control to be able to work his way out of the bondings she had him in. the moment he got free he struck, all happening in a matter of seconds as he sank his fangs into her flesh , just got a good taste of her blood before she flung him off. hitting the wall with a solid thunk he hit the ground before was up again and striking, not to surprised that being a fledging vamp made him extremely fast, hell he got satisfaction out of seeing the shock on her face as he slammed into her again and ended up slamming each other into various objects, him trying to bite, her successfully keeping him from getting a second taste.

"Damn it!" the with roared. "He's ripped a vein!"

Chris hadn't really heard this cry, because the hunter, every bit as thoroughly trained as he, from one soldier to another, was keeping his full attention.
The mature male had a few injuries, but they were all superficial except fro a bit of blood trickling from his mouth. He'd cut the inside of his cheek from a punch.
But as talented as the hunter was, Chris would always be more experienced. He'd changed his technique from his usual street fighting to a dog-fighting style he'd learned in the military, but when that wasn't enough, he switched to his third style, one that suited his long, graceful body all the more, a type of modified martial art that relied on the magnificent strength of Chris's powerful legs.
Chris hadn't meant for the fight to bring them closer to the entrance where the women were, but it had, and finally, determined to put the fledgling down long enough to establish his newly acquired role as dominant male, Chris combined all three of his styles into one finishing move.

She watchedc the two going at it even as Katrina tended to her shoulder, hell it barley even hurt, only reason she was cringing was because of the painful sounds coming from the two. the grunts of pain and the blood being drawn, she was enjoying the fact she got to see chris fight , and boy did he look good when he moved.


Dimitri couldn't help himself as he faught with Chris, both got in some good hits , both moving as if in some sort of dance, as they used their fghting skills against one another, but sure enough Chris got the best of him as he ended up behind Dimitri and sank his deadly fangs into the back of his neck. He nearly passed out when he was suddenly released and then kicked savagely into his chest, sending him sprawling backwards onto the ground before he was quickly up again , both panting and struggling to get their wind, he bared his own deadly fangs, before his gaze went straight to the women again , going over rose once more before Katrina, he gave a low animalistic growl as he now ignored Chris and launched himself at Katrina, his fingers curling as he reached out to snag her arm and yank her to him, his eyes all on her neck and the loud pulse that he was hearing beating there.

Raizen gave a very male smirk as he guided her into her own climax, and growled, arching a bit when she clamped down on him. "Damn..." he groaned, and as he leaned down to nuzzle her, the burning subsided, and he sighed with relief.

Through gasps for breath as he fed from her, she panted and cried, “Please, great hunter! I respected you in mortality—”
Right about then, Chris sailed across the way and tore the hunter off of his victim.
Katrina’s plea almost went unfinished, but hovering on the edge of consciousness, she gasped, “—and I do now in rebirth!”
Wrestling with Dimitri, Chris exhibited another talent of the mature vampire and actually grew his well manicured nails into savage claws, and immediately used them on the fledgling, slicing open his shirt and giving the subordinate male a very pointed, open mouth snarl that spoke volumes.
“Rose, see to her if you please!” he requested of his injured mate.
But what else was he going to do? He was sort of busy at the moment.

Chris found himself in a precarious position for his little coven. He had an injured mate, a fatally injured human witch, and a viciously vicious and savage fledgling he had to deal with, and he was getting pissed. They needed to hunt if nothing else, and maybe actually look for Angelica’s coven—the whole point they were even here in the first place!
And one did not piss off Christopher Kade without consequences.

Enough of you!” he spat at the hunter, then twisted one of Dimitri’s arms around his back in an unnatural way, threatening to break it with a pressure lock, then used his full, powerful body to pin the hunter bally down to the floor of the cave, his knees sharply pressed into the back of Dimitri’s. With his right hand—the hunter’s arm was in his left—Chris, claws still extended, slammed the fledgling’s head into the stone, then viciously pinned it to the floor, with Dimitri able to look up at his superior with his left eye.
“Give it up, hunter!” Chris snarled in his ear. “You’re outnumbered and outclassed, and if you want to live past sunrise you’ll do well to remember that!!!!”
And, for good measure, and to prove a point, the dominant male delivered a wicked bite to the back of his subordinate’s neck, and sucked down a few drops in this show of domination.

she couldn't help the small groan again as he arched a bit against her, just the slightest movement of himself she felt. flushing a little she watched him from half closed eyes, giving a small smile when he nuzzled her and nipped her throat, barely even realizing that the burning in her hand had subsided as he released his hold on it.

She sighed, they had one fledgling and now they where going to have two. one was pissed off and hardly able to control is bloody hunger, what the hell was she going to do if katrina went bonkers?. Scowling she leaned down to the woman's ear before hissing" hear me this lady, you only get one chance in this coven you so much as screw it up or betray me and my mate, or put us in any danger what so ever,i will guarantee you will never live another night. i won't think twice about ending your wretched life.do you hear me?" oh she was pissed, mostly at herself for having a damn fledgling get the drop on her and now her own mate was in the damn fight and possibly getting bit a few times because of her. Once she had the wound on the woman's neck to a decent healed state she paid better attention to the two, even cringing a time or two at some hits chris did to the hunter, she was a bit impressed though by his unique abilities she hadn't seen before until now. She was quick to get up and grab thicker rope this time before going over to Chris once he had the hunter pinned again." get his arms behind his back Chris. he can't get out if i hog tie him this time."

Dimitri practically howled in pain at feeling Chris's fangs rip into the back of his neck, even in his blood hungry phase, he somehow managed to get some sense in himself to try and hold back more of a fight, though it was hard as he struggled with it.the urge was just almost over powering , and when Rose approached with the ropes again he struggled once more even after having a few drops drained from him, affectively making him well tired out, both from the draining and as well as from the fight. still didn't stop him from snarling and trying to snap at Rose. Granted she was smart enough to stay away from his mouth. He even gave a painful yelp well she socked him a good one that knocked him a bit more dazed to go with the huge headache he had from Chris slamming him into the floor. he gave them a few precious moments of being still while he tried to shake off the daze. he glanced up at rose when she spat out soemthing about muzzling him if he kept trying to bite her again, normally something like that would have made him laugh, he was just a bit confused at the moment.

Raizen grinned, then kissed her. “You’ll be feeling that for the rest of the week. It’s the moon fever…keeps us… aroused, the week of the full moon. But oddly enough, females aren’t fertile until their actual season—usually in the middle of winter.”

When the fledgling was secured, he collapsed back-first against the wall and slid down into a sitting position, terribly out of breath and bleeding from several places—mostly bites. Luckily he was already a vamp and the venom had no effect on him except to make the wounds itch a little. He sat there and nursed them like a cat, licking them until they closed up, and the itching subsided. Now he was just exhausted.
“…There, docile as pie….” he growled. “Just had to show him who’s boss is all.”
He reached for his woman. “Let me see you, love.”

she kissed him back before looking up at him as he broke the kiss to explain to her exactly what was going on , arching a brow she groaned" good lord a full week? of this.. hormonal mess?.. i am seriously not going to get work done am i?" Once that was done she sat down heavily and rubbed her still bleeding shoulder, it was still trying to heal on its own but without the help of their healing saliva, it was slow. Looking over to Chris she frowned and got up, walked over to him before kneeling down and slid her hands over his body to check all the wounds. " hah , docile as pie?.. since when does pie attack love?, right now i would say he is as docile as a sleeping tiger." she leaned back to watch him lick his own wounds, just bites and such before he reached for her and asked to see her, she held still for his inspection, half closing her eyes as she placed her hands on his upper leg's for support while he looked her over. " bleeding has stopped but its sore as hell and now i am tired.. sorry, can't believe the moron got the drop on me. hell i didn't even hear him get lose from the bindings, bloody smart ass hunter" grumbled, reaching up to carefully pull her hair away from the wound, she would need a bath to get the blood off of her and out of her hair,.'' the woman is fine, she will change of course, had no choice in that really.. i uhh.. don't know if we should secure her or not, she doesn't have the training of the hunter, but she can still be a pain once she changes. She frowned before sighing as he explained that it would get easier with time. " if you say so furry butt. " teased, this time however she arched a brow at his next words." what do you mean you can't?" that was as shocker, it was either a won't or a can't. and frankly she figured he wouldn't get off her, atleast until he explained it.

Half closing her eyes when he kissed her forehead before going on to explain what happens with the male were's body. Groaning slightly she laid completely back. Closing her eyes she leaned against him as she relaxed , smiling when she heard his rumbling chuckle through his chest, looking up at him she grinned" yea i know.. unless someone throws them at you but still, even then it wouldn't hurt.... and it looks like we have hun " glancing at the two again she sighed" more mouths to feed"

It was then, in her phrasing, that Christopher Kade had a brilliant idea.
“Come with me outside. We have time before dawn.”
He led her out of the cave, then climbed to the top of it and pushed back further into the trees, looking up at the beautiful moon.
“…You’re worried about feeding them…” he repeated. “…What if… we get them to feed off of each other.?”
He turned to her and kissed her hand, very elegantly. Then he turned it over and nipped her wrist, sucking gently on the few drops he managed to pull to the surface.
“God how I miss your taste, my love.” he murmured.
Then he got back to his point.
“Anyway… what I’m think is…. If we… sort of…. nudge them together, they may learn to tolerate one another and even… well you get the idea.
“Hence, they will feed from each other and reduce our stress considerably. We won’t have to keep them in line, nor have to fend for them. And… they’d be a hell of a lot more useful against Angelica as a mated pair and subject to the protection clause. Our handsome hunter especially.”

" oi whats going on in that handsome head of yours?" stepping back a little she watched and listened as he turned to her and kissed her hand, she nearly asked him what he was thinking again when he suddenly turned her hand over and nipped at the tender flesh on her wrist to draw a bit of blood, before a shiver of delight went up her spine from the pleasure of his mouth on her skin. hell she couldn't even help the rush of wetness between her legs suddenly . Trying not to squirm and blush a little as he admitted he missed her taste. She licked her lower lip and forced her eyes back up to his face" mmmm. uh huh your distracting me, get back to the point."

Since he was already getting back to the point she allowed herself to be a little bit distracted again from his mouth on her wrist. All the way making sure she paid attention to his words. "Yes, a better mood. Poor bastard's confused and hormonal right now, and when she wakes up she'll be hormonal too. Level-headed, of course. She chose her fate. But no fledgling can resist the moon's pull. That makes our job all the easier.

And just to show her what he meant, he slid a finger down her spine, and smiled wickedly when he saw the goosebumps form on her arms. Raizen stretched long and luxuriously, only partially covered by her wine red sheets. "Mmm, a pleasant way to end a stressful week, is it not?" he said, licking his marked palm, which still ached from the earlier burning. He then leaned over and licked her cheek. "You're an Alphena now. Never forget it. And never abuse it."
Then he took her hand in his own and proceeded to massage it. "So tell me, is there anything else you want to know?"

She groaned softly against his kiss as he pulled her closer, her hands sliding over his chest and shoulder's to sink into his silky hair as she nipped his lower lip." mmmmm definitely want to do something more usefull with this time. " grinned," and your right about those two. we can see about getting them together later.. right now. i want to focus on this."

A shiver went up and down her spin from his touch before he dipped her agian and got a good kiss in,nipping his chin lightly she squirmed at his wandering hands. " mmmmm maybe.. maybe not. you will just have to find out now won't you ?" grinned, sliding her own hands under his shirt and tugged it up, wanting to pull it off him and get a taste of his skin. Once the shirt was off she leaned forward and nipped his collar bone before moving down a little to tease and scrap his nipple with her fangs gently.

Tessa smiled as she relaxed back on the bed and looked him over. ' mmm i would say so. definitely something i would looove to keep doing for stressful weeks. " tilting her head to the side slightly she flushed as he licked her cheek before he massaged her hand. " mmmm i won't forget it . and Rai.. i never abuse anything. i am not like that." reaching over she poked his nose lightly ,

" mmm anything else to know... i dunno.. i am sure i will have a few question's later on when i get used to this and get a little more curious, but for now. i think i know everything. " moving closer to him , she snuggled up to him, enjoying his closeness better then she had done with her ex.

She had just rested her cheek agains this chest and was fixing to fall asleep when she jerked at the sound of pounding on her door. Groaning she glanced at the clock" maaaan its three in the bloody morning. who could that be?" grumbled, sitting up and sighing as she reached for her black pajama pants and the matching spaghetti strap to go with it as she pulled it over her head and headed out of the room. " i hate late night visitors."

Running a hand through her hair she reached the door and undid the locks before opening it once she saw who it was, a bit surprised at the two cops standing in her hallway. Considering she forgot what happened to her Ex. When they asked her who she was , and she replied out of automatic reaction. they immediately reached for her and yanked her out into the hall and had her hands behind her back in moments with cuff's. Squeaking in complete shock. Too stunned to even struggle which was probably a good thing. She immediately called out for Raizen." Raizen!! get out here!" she grimaced as one of them tightened the cuff's on her wrists. and she was barely aware of her rights being read to her and why she was being arrested, assault on her dirt bag of an ex. She groaned and closed her eyes. " this can't be happening damn it." She didn't even have her shoes on . hopefully Raizen could help otherwise she was in deep shit.

Raizen jerked up when he heard Tessa’s voice, grabbing his pants and leaping into them, and he raced into the living room, hearing the Miranda rights and the clicking of a lock, the stench of metal sharp in his nose, as well as doughnuts, squad cars, and guns.
He opened the door. “Tess? Evening gentlemen, is there a problem here?”

When Raizen came out, tessa was already in cuff's and her back against the wall now as she leaned against it and was answering question's to the officer who was writing things down.. She just finished giving her information when she heard Rai. Opening her eyes and trying her best not to sound terrified, even though her whole body language was practically screaming it that she was terrified. she spoke." i am being arrested for assault on Jim."

The second officer who turned and looked towards Raizen as he appeared, gave a slight nod " few hours ago we got a complaint by a Jim o'conner. he was admitted to the hospital with a broken arm and err.. other certain injuries and filed assault on miss Tessa here. " .Looking to Tessa then back at Raizen he frowned. " are you a roommate of hers or something? "reaching for the clip board from his partner he turned the page and wrote down information for Raizen. " this is where she will be taken to, to be processed and printed before waiting her trail. her trail will be posted in the morning to determine her bail amount. if you need a bailsbond, we have information for that as well."

Tessa was seriously wishing she could be in raizen's arms at the moment instead of in cuff's and barefooted, shifting from foot to foot she glanced at him and bit her lip before glancing at the officer in front of her who had frisked her. " can he get me my sandles?"

The officer looked up , looked to Raizen then shrugged'' sure, don't see why not, you will need your shoes anyways." her glanced at her dressed state and frowned" and maybe a sweater."

Shirtless, tall, and hugely imposing, the alpha sighed. He could easily take out these officers and free his wife, but he didn't want to cause a scene and start more trouble for her.
"You could say I'm something like that." he shot back at the officer who'd called him her roommate. "A friend of hers."
Oh, of course they were a little more than friends, but that wasn't any of thier business, and even a human could speculate that.
He went inside, got her a pair of tennis shoes--even for him, it was a chilly night--some decent pants, an indoor shirt and a sweater, and tucked it into an old rucksack he found. He discovered her pocket knife on the night stand. Thinking it over a moment, he deduces that it was small enough, so he picked it up. He picked up a belt too, with a metal buckle--a decoy.
he also wrote out his number on a note, signed, "With Love, Rai."
Returning outside, he had the officers take her cuffs off long enough so that he could help her dress--grimacing slightly at the marks he saw on her wrists and seriously restraining his protective tendencies.
"Here. Call me after your hearing." he said, slipping the note into her pocket as he let the cops look through the bag he'd packed.
using thier distraction, he pulled his mate into a kiss--and through that kiss he passed the knife from his mouth to hers, using his tongue to install the emergency weapon underneath hers.
"Take care of yourself." he said, implying what he'd just done. "And stay out of trouble." That time he implied the consequences if she had to use it and they found out she'd snuck it in.
He hugged her, then said as they returned her bag.
"And officer, I won't need a bail bond, thank you. I have my means."

Tessa tried her best to ignore the female cop who had already frisked her down very throroughly before Raizen came out. The fact that the woman's eyes never left Raizen's body was just flat out annoying.. She watched as Raizen dissappeared, nearly smiling a little at the look he had given to the cop who said something about him being a room mate. Though she was still freaking out and scared as hell so didn't get too much comfort from it.

Once the cuff's where off, at Raizen's convincing, she rubbed her wrists and allowed him to help her into her clothing. Feeling him tucking the paper in her pocket she nodded " i will , but i seriously don't want to spend a bloody night in jail" mumbled , before blinking in surprise as he kissed her, sliding her arms around his neck she kissed him back, very surprised by the little pocket knife he slipped into her mouth, but she was quick to hide it, When he pulled back , she looked up at him, but didn't speak just nodded at both of his implies, since the pocket knife made it difficult to talk.

The female officer glanced over at the two just as he gave her a kiss, arching a brow and now suddenly jealous of the woman she cleared her throat and moved back over. " sorry but i have to put the cuff's back on her and get her in the car." she glanced at Tessa then back at Raizen. '' suite yourself, the building opens up at Seven a.m. i will be sure she call's you before her hearing, odd's are, it will be about Ten a.m.. " she shrugged as she reached over and cuffed Tessa's hands in the front this time so she could hold onto her small bag. She was fixing to pull her away when she caught sight of the bruise on Tessa's face, frowning she stopped then turned back to Raizen. " she is being arrested for assault on Jim .. but... did he ever hit her?" that was one thing she couldn't stand and it was women beater's.

"For the record, I said after her hearing, officer. So She can tell me what the price is. But I appreciate it."
He glared at the male cop while the female talked, and cuffed his mate again--he'd smelled him on Tessa, which indicated that he'd frisked her too. But he pounced on the female's question.
"Yes, actually, he did. Instead of arresting Tess, he's the one you should be arresting, for premeditated assault and attempted murder. HE attacked HER. And if you want the details I'll give them to you, if you leave the cuffs off of her, since you can see she's really trying desperately to get away."

She sighed and glanced at Tessa before looking back at him before sighing" no need to get testy. Sir. " glancing over at the male cop she gave a slight grunt" ralph get over here. we have another assault charge to file. " reaching over she took the cuff's off before taking a hold of her arm and gently led her back inside" sit on the couch. while we get this out. " tucking her cuff's back on her waist she took out her note pad and faced Raizen just as Ralph did." since i get the feeling you where there when he assaulted her why don't you start from the beginning? . "

the moment the two cops faced Raizen and their backs where towards Tessa she silently reached up to take the pocket knife out of her mouth and tucked it in her bra, making sure it was definiely not noticable as she took in a deep breath and sighed, rubbing her head before grimacing as they asked raizen about what happened, hopefully he would let them know that Jim had gotten pissed off because he had been caught cheating on her.. closing her eyes she sighed. this was such a large headache. atleast she now knew both of the cops names.. Terry the female and Ralph the fat looking male.


Terry frowned as she continued to write down anything Raizen said, down to the very last detail before she flipped her pad closed, it took nearly an hour to get everything straight. tucking her pen back in her pocket she looked up at him. " well this definitely changes everything. she is still going to be charged and we still have to take her in but when we put this file in and the judge finds it, i am sure her hearing will be dropped out until they get to question mr. O'conner.. even the judges don't take kindly to woman beaters." she pulled out some more paper work and handed them over to Raizen ." just sign and date since your the witness, and if there is a trial you will be called upon."

It didn’t take Raizen long to start his monologue, and he hoped Tessa was paying full attention to each word—so their stories didn’t get mixed up.
“I’m hat you might call a friend from out of town—my home’s in Northern Maine. Tessa and I go back a ways; you see, Jim O’Connor had been cheating on her for a couple of years….
“So she cheated back.”
He let that stew for a minute, skillfully crafting his tale to cut out anything odd, or anything to do with the ship—that seemed strange anyway.
“I’d just landed in Germany by sea with my sister, her husband, and a friend. I’d treated us all to a vacation—when I paid my own way to come right back and see to Tessa. On the ship I’d been unhappy to learn she was indisposed, and I knew that Jim O’Connor wasn’t going to take care of her. No; why should he waste time on someone sick with the stomach flu when he could just go out and visit his little mistresses? By the time I got into Boston and took a cab here, the door was open and she and the idiot were screaming at each other, and I came in right as he hit her.
“He went for her again with every intention to murder her. And what was I supposed to do? Just stand there and watch? Hell no. I can in here and I ripped the bastard off of her. I’m the one that broke his damn arm,”
His intense eyes settled on Terry.
“Is it such a crime to defend someone I care for against someone who does not? If so, then by all means, arrest me too. But it was self-defense on Tessa’s part, and defense of another on mine. If you ask me, the bastard got less than he deserves.
“And so I stayed behind to keep Tessa calm and to keep her safe if the idiot tried anything. Hence why I’m still here.”

Terry had to surpress a bit of a shiver at the intense look from Raizen as he retold the events that happened. . She paid very close attention though to every bit of detail he was telling her. her notepad was already half full with everything he had said. Once he was done she looked up at him after she put everything away.Though she didn't like the fact that Tessa was with Raizen, considering he was the kind of man Terry would really love to be with. and she couldn't help feeling a little more jealous as she rubbed the back of her neck. " well from the sounds of it, its all self defense. she won't spend a night in jail but we still have to bring her in and print her and process her. even have to take pictures of bruises and such on her "

Ralph was a bit impressed as well since he himself had seen the size of jim and he was comparing him to the size of Raizen and so pretty much figured that Jim was a dumbass to try and take on Raizen.. Shaking his head he turned to Tessa " we gotta leave now though. get this over and done with, its a long process and will take most of the night. " he slid a glance to Razien then back at her. figuring she would be more comfortable with Raizen with her . that and well they had to process him too, " He can come with you . any cuts and bruises on him will have to be recorded from whatever fight he had with Jim.. " he arched a brow. " err. if jim managed to get in a few hits that is."

Tessa couldn't believe her luck, her new husband, well by werewolf law anyways. had just silver tongued his way into having her not stay a night in jail. better even more so he got the charges over turned on jim. Course she paid attention to every detail of the tall tale he just gave. wanting their stories to match.. glancing at Ralph and then Terry she grimaced, of course she would still have to be processed, nodding she got up ,picking up the bag again she glanced at Raizen, thankfull that they where allowing him to come.she moved to stand next to him as the two officers began to urge them out of the apartment and to close their door. she quickly picked up her wallet from the side table as well, just in case they needed her i.d. and such." ugh.. gunna be so tired in the morning. " grumbled. already having a headache. She nearly bulked when she saw the cop car with the back door opened as Terry ushered her to slid in.
