Ryota looked down at the lake, grinning. The first jump was normally a bit of a shock, no matter how often he did it. "Hm, it's probably going to be" he said, wrinkling his nose. It would be cold going from a hot shower to a cold lake, though he was completely dry now, the air while they flew drying his long hair easily. "Well, see you on the other side" he said with a laugh, taking a step forewards and pushing off of the bird, yelling as he fell through the air, curled into a ball. He hit the water and his first thought was what he expected: cold. He resurfaced easily and shook his hair, which was now wet again, out of his face, looking up at the bird, which was still hovering above the spot where he was.

Sora jumped in after him, curling in a somewhat protective ball, a cannonball technically. But he was also bracing himself for the cold shock of hitting the water. He hit the water with a splash that sounded like a whip crack as he when under. He pulled himself out of the ball, swimming back up to the surface, seeing Ryota already up to the top and looking at his bird. "Cold, but it feels good all the same," he commented, looking at the water around them.

Ryota looked at Sora as he surfaced, commenting on the cold. "Yep. It's great" he said with a grin. He loved the thrill of falling. He looked back up at the clay bird as he treaded water, and the bird came down to their level, careful not to tip their clothes off. It set down in the water and Ryota climped on with little difficulty other than slipping, having done it enough to be used to it.

"Almost wish we'd brought towels or something, because it's going to feel a bit awkward with wet clothes on, still dripping wet anyway," Sora said, shaking his head to rid his hair of the excess water. He followed Ryota on the bird, trying not to slip or fall or anything. He managed to get on with only a little bit of struggling.

"Hm, I didn't think of that" Ryota admitted. He had never thought of it, though things like that didn't bug him. The bird flew up again to about the same height, circling a few times before stopping. He was positive that it would be better this time, since they would be more used to the water. "Oh well. The wind will dry us a bit more, though it would still be better if we brought towels"

"Okay," Sora agreed, looking at the air around them. "We're just going to get wet again, so I suppose the purpose of a towel would have been defeated already." Since they were somewhat cold already from the first shock of the water, Sora didn't think it'd be as freezing the second time around.

"Yeah, but we could have used them when we were done" Ryota pointed out, shrugging. He personally didn't care, but if Sora wanted a towel, he would have used one too. He looked down at the water again and dove off the bird, hands first this time. The water wasn't as much of a shock, and he didn't make as much of a splash this time.

"Maybe," Sora answered, diving in after Ryota, trying to see if he could get a couple aerial moves in that could possibly be turned into training if he wanted. Diving moves in the air, or even dodging in the air tactics. This would be a good time to try it since they were going to be here killing time for a bit. He tried to do a couple, but as he got closer to the water he just dived regularly, not wanting to smack into the water's surface and hurt.

Ryota surfaced in just enough time to see Sora hit the water, and he shook the water from his face that had come from the splash. Most of his hair was stuck back from his face, which he tried to fix as the bird flew down to water level again. "Hmm, not as cold" he said happily, failing at fixing his bangs so just giving up, his hair just sticking to the side wierdly, and stuck to his face in some places.

Sora surfaced, hearing most of Ryota's statement. "Yeah, definitely less of a shock from the first jump. It might even feel nice after a few rounds," he said, swimming to Ryota, watching as the clay bird returned. "Its refreshing, and waaay better then being in the base." The base sort of gave him that closed in feeling, like sitting too long in one place and feeling restless and too uncomfortable. Being out here was freedom. He wondered if one day he'd be able to talk Ryota into leaving the Akatsuki and moving out somewhere. He wasn't exactly sure if he'd do it, but who knew.

Ryota nodded in agreement, grinning. "Yeah. It normally does, and that's when the lake is even colder" he said with a laugh, climbing onto the bird easily again, looking down to Sora to see if he needed any help, just in case he slipped or something. He hadn't thoguht of it the first time, but it ocurred to him now.

Sora worked on getting up on the bird, not getting up as fast or as easily as Ryota was. He'd learn some how. Eventually, anyway. "How did you come up with this kind of activity anyway?" Sora asked, since Ryota seemed to always have some random activity in mind. He came up with random stuff all the time and Sora kind of wondered how.

Ryota ran a hand through his plastered back wet hair at the question, thinking as the bird rose once more. "I have no idea really. I think I was just sitting there and wondered what would happen if I tried this. It happens alot" he said with a slight grin, knowing it was kind of stupid, but it was how he was. He came up with the dumbest things to do, and then tried them out, not thinking of conciquences first.

"What else have you come up with when you were bored and just sitting there?" Sora asked him, since he'd never tried making up stuff on his own to entertain himself. That was what traveling was for, when it came to him. Traveling and meeting people, doing things, whatever. He didn't need games like that, but he wasn't traveling anymore, so now he'd find use for them. Not to mention he had Ryota to play them with. They'd be okay now.

Ryota thought about the question, there were numerous things he had done, but he coudn't remember most of them. "Umm, I've tried to go fishing, which didn't work, and I got too bored with sitting there so I just left" he said, giving a sheepish grin. It was one of his worse ideas, that he had tried while extremely bored. "And I've tried to see how long it would take to fly around the world. I went for a day before coming home" he laughed at that, since the reason he came home was because he had run out of food and there were no stores or anything near him.

"Ahh, well, you've certainly come up with things I'd never even have thought of," Sora said, since they were the kind of things he'd never consider in his life. He wasn't that kind of guy, he supposed. "But that sounds cool anyway, at least one of us is creative."

Ryota grinned, knowing that most of the things he thought of were so moronic that nobody but him would think of them, but most of them ended up being fun. Most of the things he came up with before he and Sora were together required more than one person, so he hadn't been able to because nobody except Tobi was willing to play with him, but now he couldn't remember half of those things. "Heh, well I'm an artist, I have to be creative" he said with a laugh. "Although those were pretty stupid ideas". The bird was flying in place again, waiting for them to jump off.

"Maybe, but still, they work. As long as they work, who cares how stupid they are or how stupid we look doing them," Sora said with a laugh, because he'd love to see them come up with something much better then what his lover could come up with. They'd need to think for weeks, but Ryota could come up with it in minutes or even seconds. Top that. Sora knew he couldn't.

Ryota laughed and nodded. "Good point. They're mostly just to keep us busy if we're bored anyways, so it wouldn't really matter" he said, shaking his wet hair back from his face and looking down at the water. "Well I'm going again" he grinned, springing off the bird and doing a flip in the air, landing feet first in the water.

Sora tried several different positions to practice with aerial maneuvering, which didn't work out half bad. He liked it, and it felt kind of exciting. There was hardly a moment when he wasn't training to become stronger, faster, and better. Doing so could also help him protect his loved ones. Ryota, being as clumsy as he was, needed it most. Who knew what he might need to protect him.

Ryota surfaced in time to see Sora moving through the air, and he smiled, not able to help but appreciate the way his body moved. Especially since he was only wearing his boxers. He couldn't help but smirk slightly at that as he waited for Sora to surface and the bird to come, which wouldn't take long.

Sora made sure to keep his arms out in front of him when he dove in, to spread the water so he didn't go deaf or blind when his head hit the water. And so the impact wouldn't sting like a whip crack, ouch. He surfaced back up, looking to see Ryota waiting for the bird. He laughed. "This is good for us. Finally getting out of the base and doing something outside, y'know?" he said, since they didn't do much except chores and other stuff inside the bedroom. This was nice for a change.

Ryota nodded and smiled. "Yeah, it's nice getting out. We should get out more often than this" he agreed, pulling himself onto the bird as it landed again. "By the way, you look great when you jump like that" he added with a grin, looking down at him from the clay bird. He deffinitly couldn't help but notice that.

Sora laughed, climbing back on the bird. He was getting better at it. Not as balanced as Ryota and not as quick yet, but it was waaaay better than before, when he was struggling not to slip. He was learning from it, sort of. "Agreed. You come up with the good stuff, and thanks. I love to watch how you dive down so epically," he said, because when Ryota dived, it looked like he was in an action movie, and he was the sexy actor who was diving with only his boxers on.

Ryota grinned at the compliment, kissing him quickly. "I guess that's just a bonus to the fun then" he said with a laugh. It was deffinitly a bonus to him, getting to see his Sora diving like that. He looked down at the water, knowing that they had been going a bit higher every time they flew back up, but he had no idea how high they were now. Maybe 40 feet? About that, probably.
