Wipe my existence clean (Topic open to anyone)

"Nope," Azumi replied, "how about you, genius? I'm sure you could find us somewhere in no time, no?" He got up and left the room, walking around and picking up things to test the durance of his limbs. They didn't feel up to one hundred percent, obviously, because he was only given one hard-shut down pill, it wasn't supposed to last long. So he knew enough to know he had only been temporarily adjusted for the time being.

Cayden sighed. He was about to reply when Azumi left the room. Cayden swung out after him and leaned against the door frame, "Actually, no...I may be brilliant, but I've been locked up for one hundred years, i know practically nothing of my surroundings at the moment, I have no idea where i am." His face was dead serious now as he looked at Azumi sternly, his eyes a little closed but it just made him look even more serious.

"Got it, so we're both at a loss here," he said. Cayden's serious features were slightly intimidating. "So all we need to do is get out of here and get as far as we can, right? Isn't that the plan?" That sounded like the plan Cayden had in the beginning. Just to get out of here and flee as far as he could go. At least until he got stronger.

"Seems that's the only plan we have..." Cayden said as he put his hands in his pocket and walked towards the door. He turned back and looked at Azumi the smirk he had worn most of the time back on his face, but his eyes really did show how old he really was, "And don't worry about all your crap here...we will be back...my clothes are here..." He said with a short laugh as he walked out the door and into the hall looking around and not seeing anyone he headed towards the elevator he stood outside it and waited to Azumi. He pulled the end of his ha down to cover his eyes.

"Mmm, it's not the stuff I'm worried about, actually," Azumi muttered as he followed Cayden out to the hall. Cayden had pulld down the hat so anyone trying to see his eyes would have to work for the chance, and they'd have to be looking up at him to see. "So, where to first? Do you know?"

Cayden sighed, "I really have no clue..." He said as he pushed the button to call the elevator. "I think we should travel in the same direction as my br-...uh...the only other experiment that managed to escape...he still haven't been caught...and they stopped after a while..." Cayden said with a sigh as the doors to the elevator opened, he had been about to say something else when he saw there was a cop in the elevator. He cursed silently under his breath and stepped inside. The cop looked at them, looking them over, obviously not having heard what Cayden had said. "Hello boys, you two alright?" The cop said. "Hey there, we're fine, right?" He said looking at Azumi.

Shaking his head, Azumi said, "Yeah, we're all good, just...heading out for some fresh air." Cayden had been speaking, then had abruptly stopped. What had he been about to say? They were to travel in the same direction as who? Another experiment who got away....apparently, but the way Cayden had stopped before mentioning who exactly he was before calling him another experiment.....was odd, to say the least. Then again, Cayden had done nothing ordinary so far.

"Alright, but you two be careful..." The cop said before walking out of the elevator to search the floor. The doors closed at Cayden let out a sigh as he slumped down to sit on the elevator floor, "Geez, if that guy had heard that, we'd be arrested in an instant..." He didn't bother to say that he would rather be locked up in a prison then locked up back up in that institute he had been in, even if it would only be a slight improvement.

"Erm...yeah," Azumi sighed, starting to walk out of the elevator doors. He didn't want them to shut while they were still in there. Then they'd have to wait even longer to get out. "Come on, Cayden. Let's get out of this thing before someone on another floor calls it and we get stuck riding with them." Azumi hated being stuck near people too long, then it felt too awkward because they were full humans with normal lives, and he wasn't.

Cayden cocked an eyebrow as he walked out of the elevator, "You paranoid or something?" He asked looking back at the elevator which closed a few moments after Cayden stepped out. "You know it has to stay open long enough for people to get in and out...and I'm sure its possible to hold it open..." He said to the elevator though talking to Azumi who he then turned to look back at. "Seriously...You're really weird..." It made him laugh to say that but he couldn't help it.

Azumi gave a small smile towards Cayden's comment. "Yeah, I've been told that some times before. And.....I think you could hold it open, but only if you've got the strength you have so you can do it without hurting yourself, and only if you don't want attention drawn to you." He thought about trying to hold it open, and he could probably do it, too. Just as long as his limbs were in better condition than they were now.

Cayden sighed, "Whatever you say..." He looked around, "you mind leading the way? I have no clue where I'm going" He said scratching his neck but the fact that he could still bugged him, he wanted his hair back already, but he would have to wait...maybe he could get a wig or something, he could deal with that a little better.

"Ummm...but I don't even know where we're going. You said we're following someone else's path, and I obviously have no idea what that path would be, so I need you leading the way," Azumi replied, unsure of where they were supposed to go. The most he could lead Cayden was out of the apartments, but that was about it. He didn't know where Cayden wanted them going.

Cayden groaned, "Can you just get us out of the city...I can lead from there..." He said looking around and adding, "I think" under his breath. He honestly had no idea where his brother had gone when he got out but he knew he hadn't been caught and thats all that mattered. Phelan, he had to be a higher priority then Cayden...he was there pride and joy wasn't he....even though thinking about it pissed off Cayden to no end.

"Yeah, I guess that's about as far as I can get us then," Azumi replied, wandering around outside for a moment. He had to figure out which way was out before he started moving in that direction. He took note of some of the things he had memorized in the past on how to get out, and soon recalled a way he had gotten out before. "You wanna walk there, or you wanna find some kind of vehicle to ride?" he asked Cayden.

Cayden sighed loudly, "We can't get rides, we can't let people know we're leaving, we're just going to walk." He said looking around. he just wanted to get out of here, he just wished he knew where the hell they we're going. He put his hands in his pockets and sighed again as he looked down at the ground, thinking for a little trying to remember where Phelan had gone...how he'd escaped...and what would Cayden do if he ended up running into him...

"Well, I'll say this now, though it may not matter to you; but it's going to be a long walk. I mean, really long," Azumi said, but shrugged and started heading for what he thought might be the direction of the road out. He thought this was as close as he could recall to the straight path leading to the roads that lead out of town, so he went with it. He just hoped it was accurate enough.

Cayden followed Azumi shrugging at his statement, "Ya i know...I have traveled through the city once before...I mean, ya i was running...but it still took me a couple hours to get here." He said, "And no I don't remember what way I came it was dark and I was just running..." He said with a sigh.

Azumi thought about when Cayden had arrived at the door. He said he had been running, and he had also threatened to kill him soon afterward. WHo knew if he still was intent on keeping that promise. "Hmm, makes sense. I don't come outside much, nor do I travel often, so I'm about as lost in this place as you are," he commented, looking left and right.

Cayden growled slightly, "You are so useless, aren't you." He said pinching the bridge of his nose. "You know what...I'll try my best, you follow me." He said passing Azumi and walking confidently. He was pretty sure of the general direction in which he had come.

"Fine," Azumi growled, following Cayden closely. Stuck up, stubborn, arrogant jerk. He was so confident in himself, let's see him get lost. Then who's useless? "And you're going to try and follow the same path you used to run around here the first time?" Azumi questioned him.

"No. That would be stupid and we'd look really stupid. I'm just trying to remember how many streets I crossed...If we went the same direction i did we'd be crossing streets and going down allies the entire time and we'd look like morons." he looked across the street and saw an alley he had run through. He counted in his head...i ran down about 4 or 5 blocks and across 5 streets...approx... He sighed but that was all they had, if Azumi wanted to correct him at anytime that would be fine.

Azumi just sighed at Cayden's light rant. Sure, he'd go all practical about how he had ran, then make Azumi sound like he was completely stupid by snapping at him for what he had said. "So, how's the guessing going? If you were running where ever, chances are that we're going diagonal from where we're intending on going. Think about it; you're running anywhere, so obviously you're not going in a straight line."

Cayden sighed loudly, "I know where I'm going! Unless you know exactly where to go shut up." He said glaring over his shoulder at Azumi. He was going to turn a couple blocks ahead, he was pretty sure of himself, but he could be wrong...he sure as hell hoped he wasn't wrong this time.

And with that, Azumi shut up, just as Cayden commanded. He didn't know where he was going, and he didn't want any kind of fight to ensue again. Especially with people around, and in public. It could be so much more worse if a fight were to occur out here. He followed quietly behind Cayden, watching where they were going, just in case he knew enough to say if they were going in the wrong place or not.
