Wipe my existence clean (Topic open to anyone)

Cayden turned after a while, about ten to twenty minutes. He was glad this place was made, more or less, in a grid like fashion,it made things so much easier for him. Things didn't look familiar for a while, he was glad Azumi had finally shut up and let Cayden just lead the way. After another long while things started to look familiar again, and he could see the street he had run down first up ahead. "See, look I did go the right way." He said with a huge smile puffing out his chest proudly as he looked over his shoulder at Azumi for a moment.

Azumi rolled his eyes, scowling. At first he thought maybe Cayden was just wandering, but then he had to find the right way. "Yeah, yeah, you got it, good job," he said, looking at the street. "Okay, so...um, now what? Do you know the way that this other person took?" he asked, his annoyed mood dispersing. He didn't recognize this part, but then, he hadn't really taken notice of it before. He would have just gotten them lost had he tried.

Cayden pointed at the street they were coming up to, "If we go down that street, we're pretty much going back to the place they kept me...the other guy went the opposite way I did..." He was pretty sure there would be a way to completely avoid the institute because they were screwed if they couldn't, and he still couldn't help but be worried...what if they found Phelan...he would surely kill both of them. He sighed and continued to walk.

"Okay, so....now we're just basically going to wing it from here? You said you were going to try and follow this other guy's trail, right?" Azumi asked, looking at both paths indicated. Clearly Cayden didn't want to go back the way he came. The look on his face said it all. He also looked like he was thinking about something. Something that was really worth considering and planning. He wondered what was up with him and this other guy. "And then what? We follow his trail and just keep walking?"

Cayden sighed, he hated how unorganized this all was. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he thought over what Azumi was saying, it really just sounded like he was mocking him, "Would seem like that's what we're doing...lets hope we don't find him though..." Cayden said with a smile, "He'd kill us both once he sees me." He laughed it was pretty funny really, Phelan...there was something about him that Cayden didn't know but he said nothing. He wondered if Azumi knew that he could just leave, that he didn't have to follow Cayden, he just had to stay away from his house for a while.

Azumi wasn't sure what was going to happen next. It didn't really seem like they had any real kind of plan.....like they were just walking and would see what happens next. It was kind of confusing because they didn't have the next step planned, and they wouldn't know what would happen because they didn't know where they were going. "Right, all right....." Azumi sighed, running a hand through his hair. "And what exactly am I supposed to be doing here? Me tagging along doesn't sound like something you'd plan."

"You're here...because...well...you don't really have to be here, but I'm sure you want to figure me out more, and going back even in the direction of this place, you might find out a bit more about my past....and if we DO meet Phelan, you will figure out absolutely everything just with that." Cayden said with a smirk. He didn't even realize that this was the first time he had said Phelan's name allowed. He wondered if Azumi would ask anymore about Phelan...though Cayden didn't really want to talk about him much at all.

"Phelan? That's the person you're avoiding, I guess," Azumi muttered, thinking about it. Well, if they did meet Phelan, then they'd probably be killed, as Cayden had said. But he had also said that he'd figure everything out about him if they met this guy. So really, it was just best to avoid him, and bringing him up in a subject. There was nothing more needed to be known about him. "But, yeah, I guess I'm following you to figure out more about you. Then we'll be even."

Cayden nodded,"Alright, then lets keep going." Cayden said continuing to walk in the direction of the lab he had been locked up in for the past 100 years, he had picked up speed as well as he walked, it would still take them a while until they'd even be able to see the rather large building that looked abandonded, and Cayden was not looking forward to even seeing it.

Azumi had to speed-walk to keep up with Cayden's anxious pace. Cayden didn't look very pleased at the moment, so maybe he didn't think this whole tihng was such a hot idea? Well, whatever it was, he just wasn't in a pleasent mood for them time being. Azumi said nothing as he hurriedly followed Cayden, sometimes stumbling because of his weakened robotic limbs. He was actually kind of pushing towards his limit, but he didn't think Cayden would stop. He seemed too deep into something to notice anway. Azumi could hold out for a while though.

Cayden didn't want to but he soon veered of course and into a nearby forest. He knew whre they were now, they would soon be able to see the building, actually...if they looked hard enough they would be able to see it right now. But Cayden could tell Azumi was having trouble so he decided stopping for a while would be the best idea.He looked around and soon found a tree that could be used as a seat. He jumped up into it and sat looking at Azumi, "We're taking a break..." he said. Taking off the hat he had been wearing and shaking his head and letting his hair fall out of his hat, frowning at the fact that it didn't go down as far as it usual would.

"All right," Azumi replied, sitting down and sighing in exhaustion. He tested his limbs to make sure they were still bending accordingly. They were, so at least they were still working properly. Cayden didn't look too happy about his hair at the moment. Azumi laughed lightly. "You know cutting your hair was for the better, so don't worry about it. You said yourself that it would grow just as long in about a week or so."

"Ya. Ya i know...when i only cut it this much...it should grow back to normal in a couple days..." He said with a sigh. He swung his legs below him. He didn't like these clothes either and he wondered if he would get to go back and get his old clothes soon. He wanted tighter pants then this...it was just something he was accustomed to. "So uh...how exactly do those robot parts of yours work?" He asked curiously wondering if Azumi would answer him.

"Hm? My mechanical parts? Well," he said, cocking his head to the side to think about it. "There are over hundreds of thousands of machine bits and parts in each limb, and each of those are connected to the rest of my nerves, so then I can move them. When connected to my nerves, my brain can send signals to the limbs, even though the real ones aren't there, and they move." He didn't think he had given a very good explanation, but Cayden was smart, so he could figure out whatever he had missed on his own.

Cayden nodded, "Alright, think I get it." He said, it sounded....er...simple enough, for the most part. Cayden laughed, "There must be a lot of drawbacks to those mechanical limbs and stuff...I mean, I could beat you with no problem." as long as you don't go into that weird robot mode Cayden added in his mind. Even with his powers barely developed he would be able to beat Azumi if he wanted, even if he wasn't completely sure as to how well he could increase or decrease pulls right now, he hadn't been very good at that for a while, but he was pretty sure he could by now.

"Drawbacks? Yeah, a few, I guess," Azumi said shrugging. He smiled when he heard Cayden's usual cockiness. "Really, Cayden? Well, the way you brag about your power, I wouldn't mind seeing who could win or not. I think it'd be intresting, plus, I'd be getting to know some of your secret," he said. Cayden knew all about him, so Azumi would find his chance to know all about Cayden.

Cayden laughed, "Not a chance, you were just fixed up, I'm sure crazy doctor guy wouldn't be to happy with you if the were broken again so soon." He just didn't want Azumi to find out his power , and he was sure the other guy could sense that at least, and now even if provoked Cayden wouldn't use his powers. "Since I know so much about you I will give you a clue. My powers are do to my highly developed brain. " He said tapping his finger to his temple and smiling.

"Mm, you may just be right about that," Azumi muttered, wondering how much him and the doctor had talked about him when he was half conscious. "You and him working together or something?" he teased. "Your brain? Your powers are due to your highly developed brain....." Azumi thought into this. He could use his powers because he was greater than what ordinary humans were....so could he fight people with his brain? "So...do you like, mind read or something?" he asked, alreayd guessing it might not be true, otherwise he'd have found his secret a long time ago.

"No, that guy was fucking weird, would never work with a guy like that." Cayden said. Then he laughed at Azumi's guess, "That would be annoying. I'm glad I can't mind read. I don't know what it has to do with it all, its all evolution and age or something...I don't fully understand it, but, my powers grow constantly...But seriously, what could possibly come of a person supposed to be used as a ultimate weapon if all they could do was read minds..." He said, this was another clue, it still wasn't much though and he knew it would still take forever for Azumi to go through all the different super powers he could come up with. Cayden wasn't saying anymore on this subject so he would just leave Azumi to thinking and trying to come up with it himself.

An ultimate weapon...hmm...this was either another hint about Cayden's super-evolved powers, or it was him bragging again. He couldnt' possibly guess what Cayden could do, because he made it sound so brilliant and highly special and all. He was some sort of human weapon, then, and he used his mind to use his powers, or something like that. So.....was he like, a super human kind of person or something? "Hah, I can't even begin to grasp any kind of thing for the moment, so I think I'll wait for something else to show me what you do. If nothing comes along any time soon, then I'll find another way to get it out of you. Don't know how, but y'never know."

Cayden laughed, "Whatever you say." He said with a smile, running a hand through his hair. He stood up on the branch he was sitting on and climbed up the tree. He was bored and he wanted to look around more. He thought he would be a little more fascinated with the world outside of his cage, but really so far it wasn't anything special. He hadn't gotten to see the world change in the past 100 years but he would in the next...He realized then that, when Cayden won was when the world ended...hmm...so after a long while he would be able to bring about his own victory in the game of his life? What a break. He sighed as he sprawled out on one of the higher branches, "So...What do you do for a living?" Cayden called down to Azumi, bored enough to want to start some sort of conversation.

Cayden starting a normal conversation that didn't include any sort of insulting, or him going on about his super-special-awesomeness? This was different. Kind of. Like, not big shock difference, but something like, this is kind of new, and kind of weird. "Err, well, school, and a few part time jobs. Nothing really cool or exciting," he said, thinking of how boring his four part time jobs were, plus all the annoying people in his school. They were stupid enough to believe anything, so being around the rather-too-observant-for-his-own-good; Cayden, it was a change. Little uncomfortable at first, but he's all right after a bit.

"So...you're going to get in a lot of trouble for just running away like this, aren't you?" Cayden asked looking down at Azumi with a smirk. That really was nothing exciting, but, it was more exciting then being locked up, chained to the floor, getting shocked whenever he lipped off or disobeyed those bastards, which just made him do it more and more. After a while he was sure they just liked to hurt him like that. He could also tell that Azumi found Cayden talking to him like this, like a normal conversation, a little weird and slightly uncomfortable, this made it even more enjoyable.

"Err, probably. But it's not like I actually want to go back right now. Plus, you said to stay away from there for a bit, so I'm good," he said, shifting in his place to get more comfortable. "I don't really like walking amongst the complete humans, because it's kind of lonley." Being around Cayden was easier, because he could talk openly, and he didn't have to watch what he said. Since Cayden knew his secret, he didn't have to try so hard to act normal, like the kids in his school, or the people at his jobs expected him to. Cayden and the doctor were the only ones who knew about the real him, and he could be himself around them.

Cayden sighed, "You call them 'complete humans'...heh that's kind of funny. You're almost as human as they are." He said with a smirk, "I'm less human then you...But I'm sure you've at least guessed that." He thought for a moment, "You know...I bet in a couple decades all humans will be part machine to try and enhance everything in their bodies, thinking that they can beat out evolution, they only have to wait another couple hundred years...I'm sure." He said with a smile, looking up at the sky.
