Wipe my existence clean (Topic open to anyone)

"Heh...ya, the old man who used to run this little research group worked all by himself and never really took breaks. Don't know how he ended up having kids if he never really left...But it was just him until his kids were a certain age and they joined him...He was insane, they are almost as insane..." he explained with a sigh. He had hated the old guy, but had to admit he hated the new ones even more. "I actually think there was another guy...waaaay back...he died when i was about five though..." he said, he only heard about this really old guy a couple times. He didn't remember ever seeing him. Cayden shrugged, "Oh well..."

"Ah, cool, I think," Azumi commented, observing Cayden's features since he wasn't as angry as he had been before in the bedroom. Cayden looked pretty normal, other than the silver hair and stuff, he really did look like an average, everyday teenager with odd colored hair. The only thing that didn't seem regular was the kind of feeling he gave off, which was like his superiority compared to other, actually normal people.

Cayden snorted at Azumi's remark, "Ya so cool. I get to be some freaks lab rat. And when one of them croaks there's always a new one to come and bother me..." He said with a groan, he hoped he wasn't being to loud. He had been keeping his voice down though, almost talking completely in a whisper the entire time. The one outside right now that he saw was one of the assitants. He was sure one of the other guys would have noticed he was here right away. When the assitants watched over him, that was all they would do, watch, and sometimes scribble something down, they didn't know Cayden at all.

"Hnn," Azumi breathed, thinking about all of what Cayden had said. He had a rather deep past, and he still didn't have enough pieces of information to put anything that was significant, together. Cayden whispered sometimes when he spoke, sometimes he spoke a little louder than a whisper, but then he would go back to whispering. He really was trying to watch himself so he wasn't discovered and chased again.

Cayden was tired of just sitting there. He stood up and looked around then he looked back at Azumi, "I'm starving...do you have anything to eat?" he asked cocking an eyebrow. He hadn't eaten since very early that morning, before he had escaped and running the way he had was tiring. He had every right to be hungry. But he wondered if this guy would even bother feeding his unexpected, probably unwelcome guest. Hell, Cayden was probably lucky he hadn't been kicked out already.

"Food? Um....I think so, but it depends, what do you like? I don't have much, so don't be picky." Azumi moved over to his food cabinets, digging through them and pulling things out. "I don't have much, obviously, so don't expect much." He pulled something for himself out, putting it off to the side. "Okay, so you can choose from soup....more soup....beans....and fruit.... ew...an..um...some kind of canned meat....." These were horrible kind of food to give to a 'guest', but he didn't have to entertain people often, and he barely ate himself.

Cayden rolled his eyes and sighed thinking to himself 'no promise' he had always been picky with what he ate, and the people only fed him well because they would die if he didn't so he just didn't get to eat often. He followed Azumi into the kitchen and looked at the food this guy pulled out of the cabinets. The fact that even Azumi didn't seem to want to eat the food made Cayden sure he wasn't even going to try it. "Um...no offense or anything, but i was fed better food when i was locked up..." he said. He fiddled with his glove taking on off, "I think I'll eat this, with a glass of water..." He said holding up the fingerless, knukless leather glove.

"Gee, thanks, I bet you have," Azumi said, groaning. He wasn't sure if he was serious about eating that glove.... "Fine, if you mean it, I'll get you water. Then you wash down the leather with it." He looked at the glove once more, shaking his head, not willing to believe he would eat that. But then, he hadn't know the guy very long to know if he would or wouldn't. He didn't joke much, but this had to be a joke or something. "You're kidding, aren't you?"

Cayden smirked for a moment. And at the last question he was tempted to laugh but instead looked serious as he examined the glove in his hand "Hmm...I don't know...I am hungry and it looks more appetizing then the food you have..." He sighed, not believing this guy would actually think he would eat a glove, these were his favourite acessory he wouldn't eat them. "Could you get me a glass of water anyway?" He asked looking back at Azumi.

"Yeah, sure," he said as he poured water into a glass from the tap. He handed it to Cayden, getting what he was going to eat, out, and throwing it in a bowl. He didn't care if it was warm or cold, so he just grabbed a spoon and dug in. It didn't taste very good, but it didn't taste awful, either. It just....wasn't something he'd want to eat everyday, like most of the things in his kitchen.

Cayden took the water with no thank you or anything. He looked over his glove again and sighed. He took a sip of the water and put the glove in his mouth he just held it there he didn't actually take a bite out of it or anything. He took it out and drained about half the glass of water. Water was water, so at least he knew it wouldn't taste bad. He looked at Azumi who seemed to be not enjoying his meal at all. Didn't surprise Cayden much though, it didn't look to great. He shoved the glove in his pocket and drained the rest of the glass, putting it down on a counter. "Well I guess that will do for now...hopefully I'm not stuck in here for long..." He said taking off his other glove and putting it in the pocket with the first.

Azumi didn't mind no thank yous for the drink. He actually put the glove in his mouth, which surprised him, but he didn't actually seem to be eating it. Just sticking it in his mouth and thinking...maybe. "All right, so... what's your plan for getting out of here? Run through the front door? Hop out of a window on a lower story? Sneak out the back in a hidden entrance that nobody in this place knows about?" Cayden probably wouldn't tell him, probably just shrug and ignore him. Why would he tell his escape plans to Azumi, when he planned to kill him?

Cayden thought over what Azumi said, "Hmm..." he looked around as tough thinking, "Well...I know one thing for sure." He said looking back at Azumi and putting up one finger. "And that's that I'm staying here tonight, no matter what you say. After a while they will probably think I jumped out a window and escapsed already, but it would be best if i stayed here the night." He said lowering his hand and shrugging. Not caring if Azumi denied him, because he was staying anyway, no mater what.

"And I'm guessing that you're also going to demand the bed too, huh?" Cayden was rather blunt with this kind of thing, so he assumed that he would requir the bed as well. He looked too stubborn to accept the couch or something. No doubt he'd steal his bed tonight. Tonight, Azumi would either be sleeping on the couch or the ground. He'd stick with the ground, because the couch was too uncomfortable, what with all the springs that stuck up out of it.

"Hmm...the bed would be nice" Cayden said with a smirk, "Never slept on one before." He said with a shrug. It was true though, floor of a metal room was wear he slept...no that was a lie he got a blanket. This was fun though, he was getting what he wanted and he didn't even have to ask for it anymore.

"Thought so," Azumi murmered, going over to the closest to pull out some spare blankets. "Well, help yourself to anything, since you're here, I guess. Not like there isn't anything else you haven't really taken....so... enjoy it, I suppose." He wondered if he would wake up in the morning or middle of the night or something to find this guy gone or not. He might not be gone until he got something to eat in the morning, but then, he might try and make a run for it before anyone else woke up.

Cayden smirked, this was just getting easier and easier, but really he didn't even know what else there could possibly be tha he needed right now,that this guy could get him, probably nothing. He looked at Azumi finally feeling it necessary to ask, "Hey...what time is it?" He asked. He didn't even know what year or day or month it was for the most part.

"Time?" Azumi looked over at a clock on the microwave. "Um... it's like, midnight, why?" Was he going to use the time to plan something? "If it's midnight, then now it should be really early in the morning Thursday." That is, only if he wanted to count twelve in the morning as the next day, maybe it was just him. He always did that, just to make the day feel like it was going by at a faster pace.

Cayden nodded, midnight, that sounded reasonable, so he had escaped early then he thought he had. "Was just wondering..." He said with a shrug, wondering why Azumi would wonder why he wanted to know something as basic as the time, most people liked to be aware of the time, also Cayden wondered if maybe he should try and get some sleep. "So can i just go sleep?" He asked with a smirk, tempted to just laugh.

"Yeah, sure," Azumi answered, setting his stuff down on the ground. "Do what you like, I guess, 'cause I don't really care." Cayden wouldn't care what he said anyway. He would take what he wanted, even without Azumi's consent. This way was just more peaceful and less violent. Wouldn't attract any attention. If he wasn't letting him take whatever so easily, there'd probably be some shouting, more broken walls, and then the guys outside would come running. Exactly what they needed, right?

"Good." Cayden walked back into the bedroom. Looked at it with a smirk then took off his jacket thinking he'd probably get to hot wearing it and folded it neatly before putting it down next to the pillow and climbing into the bed sitting and taking the tie out of his hair, which took a while getting it all the way off, it was a pain. He shook his head and his hair scattered all around him glad to be out of its restraint. He sighed as he fell onto his back his head hitting the pillow, this really was a lot more comfortable then the floor of his 'cage'. He didn't know if he would get to sleep though. He just lay there with his eyes closed, breathing calmly thinking more then anything as he tried to sleep, wondering what the morning would bring his way.

Azumi curled up on the floor in his blankets, his head against the floor. It could be worse, and by worse, it could be the extremely lumpy and uncomfortable couch. Laying on that couch was like trying to lay on a bed of rocks. Well, for the parts of his body that could feel, anyways. As long as he was sleeping on a solid, flat surface, it was all right. Not much different to how his body felt lying down. He had left his clothes on so that Cayden would have to really try hard not to move him if he was trying to figure his secret out in the night while he was asleep. Cayden may or may not try to pull that kind of thing, but Azumi kept his clothes on anyway.

Cayden hadn't expected to fall asleep but within a few minutes he had. Nightmares filling his mind that night, the people bringing him back and punishing him, for being a 'bad boy' and trying to escape. Those guys had often punished him before after he woke up for dreaming about killing him, when he would ask how the hell they knew, it was always the same 'you're very loud when you sleep.' Okay well he wasn't that loud it was just that they had microphones in his room that were turned up when he was sleeping so they could hear anything he might possibly be saying. But none the less he did talk in his sleep, only few words were that distinct, when he shouted in his dreams he would often end up saying those. or just growl like an animal...it would be odd to listen to none the less.

It kind of took a bit of coaxing his mind to relax for Azumi, but he drifted off eventually. He hadn't really been dreaming, and it wasn't often that he did. WHen he slept, it was like being on the edge of waking up or sleeping, and he awoke to a consistant growling noise that he had tried ignoring at first. Soon, when it didn't stop, he roused himself all the way. He looked around, searching for the growling noise. He didn't have pets.... and the neighbors didn't, he was pretty sure. "Where...is that noise coming from?" he muttered to himself. "I don't have pets.... known ones, anway..." After he followed the sound, he found himself standing in front of Cayden. The animalistic noises were being emitted from him, though he slept on. What the heck?

Cayden's dream was getting worse and he felt as though the scientists were actually there, they actually had him by his hair, had him tied up and drugged up, enough drugs to tranquilize an elephant, but he was only woozy, it felt as though they actually had a blade to his throat, that they were actually going to kill him there. He closed his eyes and two words flashed in his vision in a deep red 'game over...'. He jerked himself awake panting slightly, all noises he may have been making ceased and he looked around. He saw Azumi standing nearby, "May I ask why the hell you are watching me sleep?" he said glaring.
