Ryota thought about that. "Hmm, true. . . but you still eat slowly" he said with a laugh, sitting up again and turning around and lying on his stomach, so that his feet were on his pillow. He was silent for a moment, looking at his arm that he was sure was healed. "I think my arm's fine now" he said thoughtfully, glancing up at her. "It should be healed by now. . . my leg WOULD have been, and you'd be free, but thanks to Hidan, you're stuck with me for another few months" he grinned, still loving having her as his maid.

Nami surpressed a groan and subsituted it with a small sigh of exasperation. Of course her luck was to turn out like this....But it couldn't last forever. She was sure he wouldn't want to be stuck in casts forever, so he'd at least try not to break his limbs on purpose. With his arm possibly healed now, then all that was left was his leg, and he could do a little more with his arm out of a cast. "Oh...well...okay," she said, looking at the limbs she had broken weeks ago. With one cast gone, it wouldn't be so long anymore.

Ryota tapped on the cast on his arm, wondering when he could get it removed. They were pretty uncomfortable, even if he was getting used to them, they were still really bad. "Geez, having a cast on my leg for four months really isn't what I need" he said with a sigh. It had been on for about 2 months already, and it took about 2 months to heal again, so he was halfway there. "Do you know how damn uncomfortable this thing is?" he asked, glancing at her. He couldn't remember if she'd ever broken anything.

"I wouldn't," she responded, sighing lightly. "I've never broken a bone before, so I'm not sure what a cast feels like in the first place." It was only him who probably broke bones here in the base. Well, maybe a few others, but never as much as Ryota did. He was so clumsy, that he broke them several times a year at least.

Ryota shook his head in disbeleif. "YOu've got to have broken at least one thing!" he insisted, though he was pretty sure she was right. He was pretty sure everyone in the base had broken a bone at least once in their lives, maybe even before they joined Akatsuki, but at least once. He was used to breaking bones, but the casts still annoyed him to no end.

"No, not that I can ever recall wearing one of those casts," she said, pondering it and trying to remember the feeling of ever having one of those, or ever having broken a bone in her body. She had gotten cut and stabbed plenty of times, but she didn't think she'd ever gotten a broken bone before.

"Ugh, you're lucky. They suck SHIT!" Ryota announced, in case it wasn't obvious before. He had broken every bone in his body. . . the ones in his ears probably being the only exceptions in that. "Ha, want me to break something for you? A leg maybe?" he joked. He would probably never be able to hurt her that badly on purpose anyways. By accident, maybe. He ended up doing the strangest things by accident.

"I'm not sure you could," she said thoughtfully. He hadn't ever hurt her on purpose, so even though he joked that he could break her leg, or any bone for her, she didn't think he would. "You might do it some day, but I doubt it would be purposely."

Ryota laughed and shook his head. "You never know. I could just get really pissed of at you one day and leave you broken and bleeding in a heap on the ground" he said with a grin, knowing that he really wouldn't be able to do that. To anyone else, sure. But not Nami, or his dad. That was probably it though.

Nami just nodded, "As you say," she said, not believing a word of it. She could do that to him, and most of the time he didn't actually care because he knew he deserved it for being annoying. Not to mention the fact that he was used to it, having gotten it so many times in his life. "Are you ever not going to be annoying?" she asked, trying to finish up the rest of her food.

Ryota shrugged and rolled over, accidentally hitting his head on the wall. He winced and rubbed his head, moving away from the wall. "I dunno, maybe, if I ever become more mature than a six year old" he said with a laugh. "You never know". He seriously doubted that he would ever get more mature, but he would have to right? Maybe when he was old and wrinkly. Or not.

Who knew how long that could take. Nami just looked at him like what he had said was so totally expected, and that she knew him well enough to know what he'd do next. If he ever matured, there might be the slightest chance that she'd miss this side of him. She shook her head to clear the semi-sentimental thoughts coming to mind. Ryota was so stupid, sometimes, that she didn't know whether him becoming mature would be good or not. It varied, she supposed. "Hmm, I wonder sometimes," she said with a shake of her head. "What do you plan on doing now, though? You've eaten enough, I hope, and you've gotten some sleep. Now what do you plan on doing?"

Ryota laughed and stretched, his feet pushing him farther down the bed, so that his head was hanging off of the end. "Hmm, I dunno. . . "he said thoughtfully, staring at the ceiling. "I think I'm gonna go back to sleep" he said with a grin. He shifted so that he was curled up at the end of his bed, still upside down though, and he closed his eyes, wondering how quickly he could fall asleep.

Nami just stood to leave as he announced he'd go back to sleep. She didn't want to eat anymore food because she hadn't accustomed to eating like this. She might go back to sleep, too, because she could feel the fatigue from the two fights they had had. At least they had won, though. Even if they did come out pretty injured. Nami made her way to the kitchen and set her stuff down in the sink, walking away for someone else to do the dishes. If she cooked, she didn't have to do them. She checked to see if Ryota was sleeping once more, then headed to her own room, laying down on the bed and waiting for sleep to hit her.

Ryota lay there silently for awhile, hearing Nami leave, then come back to check on him, and then he was alone again, but he couldn't get to sleep. He groaned and uncurled himself, deciding not to bug Nami, so he left his room and limped down the hallway with a bag of clay. He left the base almost silently, other than the occasional curse, when he tripped. He sat just outside and made his art, having nothing better to do.

Nami didn't actually sleep, more like drifting off, kind of hanging on the edge between being awake and being asleep. It wasn't a good rest, and she didn't dream, so it was sort of a motionless kind of thing in her mind. She would open her eyes and see nothing there, close them and return to seeing the stillness. She was kind of bored just drifting in and out and out of full consciousness. Eventually, she was done with laying there unrestfully, and she got up to find something else to do. Ryota wasn't in his room when she checked, so she started searching for him.

Ryota continued to work on his art, trying to think of more things to sculpt. Some of them he didn't put C into, so they were just sculptures that didn't do anything. He had one of a wildcat, and one of a snail, being as bored as he was, but most of them he just practiced, blowing up his art, grinning up at the explosions.

Nami finally found Ryota sitting outside playing with his clay. He looked bored, but when wasn't he? Was there ever a moment that he did not complain about his boredom of nothing to do? Probably not. He complained too much for that to ever happen. "Ryota, there you are. What are you doing?" she asked, having nothing better to do and actually enjoying the feeling of being outside.

Ryota looked up as Nami walked out of the base and he smiled. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm creating art" he rolled his eyes. Wasn't that obvious? He blew a clay bird up, smirking as the air whipped at his hair from the explosion. He was never really sure what caused it to make wind like that or whatever, but it was cool.

Nami just nodded and bit her tongue to keep from apologizing. She just stayed silent, watching the bird explode. She still didn't like the loud noise. It seemed worse as a full human to hear it. She enjoyed the feeling of the sun and the wind on her skin, having not had the chance to feel and enjoy this in a while. Being full human was all right some times.

Ryota blew up a few more birds before stopping, leaning his head back and sighing. "I really wanna run" he said with a sigh, running a hand through his hair. "You think I'd be able to run with a re-broken leg?" he asked with a grin. He wasn't serious, seeing as he wouldv'e had trouble with that when his leg was almost healed, let alone broken again. He struggled to his feet, trying to keep his balance as best as possible.

"You could try, but you'd only find yourself on the ground," she replied. "I would believe that adding weight and trying to force movement on a fractured bone would do more harm than good." The worst he could do was probably take a few steps and fall on his face, and as long as his nose or anything didn't break, than she couldn't say she cared much about him trying.

Ryota sighed and stretched, shaking his bangs out of his face quickly. "Ugh, I guess you're right, as much as that sucks" he said with a groan. He walked inside, the bag of clay swinging from his hand as he went. He figured that Nami would be following him, but he didn't look back to see if she really was, stopping by the kitchen to grab a cookie that was sitting on the counter, not thinking of who he lived with, before sticking it in his mouth and biting most of it off in one mouthful.

Nami watched him walk a bit, feeling the outside's atmostphere and enjoying it for a moment more, then she hurried to follow Ryota. She saw him sneak a cookie from the kitchen before she could warn him. Living with the AKatsuki, you never know who's done what to food, or who's it was and who might just try and get revenge on you for taking their cookie. Chances were fairly high that it was only Tobi's, but chances were equally high that it was someone who was saving it or who spiked it.

Ryota continued on his way, finishing the cookie in another bite. It tasted a bit weird, but he didn't care. It was probably just old. Even after living with the Akatsuki for 19 years he still didn't think of the fact that it was probably spiked, or he would get in trouble for eating what wasn't his. He wandered into the living room and dropped down on the couch, settling down and glancing around, unable to find the remote, but he didn't care anymore as he started twitching madly before falling unconcious and sliding off of the couch. Apparently the cookie he had stolen had been spiked. . . big surprise.
