Lonley and heartbroken (Open Yaoi)

It was a balmy July night. Ending a very blistering and muggy day. The sun had set but the mugginess remained. The type of night that made your clothes stick to your skin. Sighing contently Justin unbuttoned his grey top reveling his well-developed bare chest. His biker shorts making a small rustling noise as he walked. Standing just under six feet tall, and weighing just over 140, but you wouldn’t guess it he was the furthest thing from chubby. He ran a hand through his sandy blonde hair. The gel had rinsed out during his swim during the high temperature of the midday and he hadn’t bothered to redo his hair. It was too hot anyways. If he had the gel would have ran into his eyes when he sweated, so instead of it being slicked back it was a messy look upon his head, which his two younger sisters said looked better anyways. So not to make them feel offended he had left it messy. It was growing on him anyways.

This was his favorite time of the day. When he could be alone, he love his big, no HUGE family, five kids in all, two younger, and two older. With his older brothers back for the summer from university it was a full house. He was really grateful for his family though. When he was fifteen (3 years ago) he had told his parents that he was gay. He had heard of families disowning their children was it was reveled that they were gay, his family did not disown him; on the contrary his parents hugged him and congratulated him on finally having the courage to tell them. His older brothers, John and Marcus, who he told a year later basically, told him that they had known a long time. After a year and a bit he told his two younger sisters. Savannah and Mellissa Who at the time both made a face similar to that made when you smell soured milk looked each other then looked at Justin and in the most childlike and innocent way told him that “Boys have cooties!” to that he laughed and ruffled their hairs “Please keep that way of thinking for a few more years!” So yes Justin was fortunate enough to have a fantastic family. But he had yet to find that one guy. Justin didn’t want to go from relationship to relationship, he wanted one special guy.

Justin sighed as he continued walking; it was summer so he did not have a curfew and he toke pleasure in hearing the crickets chirping. And the silence and stillness that followed the busy, chaotic, and noisy day. . Most people were in bed or at least in their air-conditioned houses. Justin shook his head they were missing out on the best time of the day .The moon had finally raised and the stars were making their nightly appearance. Justin looked both ways before crossing the street. Why did he do it? He was not completely sure there had not been a single car pass him as he walked to the local 24-hour corner store. He bought himself a slurpee and a mixed back of sour candy and made his way to the park and laid himself down on the top of one of the wooden picnic tables and stared up into the night sky into the stars. Chewing on the sour candy and drinking from his slurpee, a mix of all the flavors that was available he was the only on in his family that did this. They all liked one or MAYBE two…but not Justin, no he liked all of them! He sat up quickly wincing as he gave himself a bad case of brain freeze. Squinting his eyes shut until the pain passed he opened them again and looked around. Taking another sip careful not to chug it so not to give himself the brain freeze again.

Justin was enjoying his time alone aside from the brain freeze of course the tranquility of the night, So different then the busyness of his house. With all siblings home for the summer there was lot going on. So this was his time to enjoy the exquisite starry sky above him, the air finally cooling down, or was it the slurpee that made him feel cooler? Well which ever it may be the air around him becoming cooler or the slurpee or a mix of both he was definitely felt cooler.

For a little while now he had felt antsy, a little more discouraged and sad. For weeks he had been trying to figure it out. But now when he was alone with his own thoughts he realized that he was just lonesome. He found it humorous that in a family of five kids and two parents that he could feel so dejected but this loneliness could not be filled with family. No this type needed companionship with a man, someone like him, that would love him for him some one to hold and just be with, go on hikes, and to the beach for bond fires, things like that. Stuff he did with his family, and friends, but he wanted a special someone to spend it with. He was beginning to wonder if there was anyone in this town that was like him, gay that is. Well two things he needed, gay and for him to be not seeing anyone else Justin wasn’t really one for multi partners. One slight problem there was not too many guys like him in this town.

Damon sighed as he wandered the small town, running a hand through his naturally bright red hair. So many claimed he dyed it, but it was a naturally deep red colour, like blood red. His eyes were blue, but in contrast with his hair looked a more purpley colour, but they were still blue. He walked down the street slowly, sweat on his forehead, which he wiped away, but he enjoyed days like these. The heat made him feel like he was in a sauna, but a bit more uncomfortable, and he felt relaxed. It didn't bug him, at all. He didn't understand why it bugged so many people that much. His loose t-shirt hung on his body well, not accenting his chest, since it was loose because it was so hot out, but not hanging off of him like it would for some anorexic kid. He had a nice build, but was a bit on the short side, not that it bothered him. His shorts were loose as well, coming down to his knee, and sagging a bit at his hips.

A few years back he had gotten his first boyfriend, which showed his parents that he was gay, and he was promptly kicked out of his house. He had nowhere to stay, because his boyfriend's family wouldn't let him stay there, so he lived with his uncle, who was supportive enough of him. He still lives with his uncle, and his younger brother and sister, who were a year apart from each other at 13 and 14, came to visit often, unlike his parents. He hadn't seen them since he left, two years ago. The way they would have treated him though, he didn't care in the least, other than being angry with them. If they kicked him out for being homosexual, then he didn't want anything to do with them, because it's who he is. A few weeks after he had been kicked out, his boyfriend dumped him, and he had been alone since, close with the few friends he had, and distant from everybody else.

He stopped off at his house, changing his clothes and grabbing some money from his uncle, promising not to be out late. He took a walk along the beach, having a course set. He loved to just take walks in the evenings, though it could be lonely alot of the time. He would do anything just to have somebody he could walk with, and just spend time with, other than a friend. He had learned from the first person he had dated how insensitive and horrible people could be, so he hadn't even tried to get another guy since then.

It was cooler now, since the day was settling down, which was nice. He had changed into tighter clothing, but not too tight, like so many people wore. They fit him better, and showed off a bit more of his build, but were still nice. He walked with his hands in his pockets, looking at the sky and thinking of nothing at all. It was nice to have his mind so clear, especially on nights like this that he liked so much. He headed all the way to the store, which wasn't too far from his house, but he walked slowly when he was just strolling. He went inside and bought himself a slurpee, just a few of his favorite flavors mixed together. He would normally have bought something to eat as well, but he wasn't in the mood. He walked out of the air-conditioned building into the almost silent night, the only sounds being the crickets and the occasional car passin quietly. He looked around at the tables, seeing a kid around his age sitting on a picnic tables, and the rest being open. He couldn't help but notice how attractive the other male was, which wasn't surprising, since the thought popped into his mind quite a bit when he saw someone with exceptional looks. He wasn't sure why he hadn't noticed the other before, but it had been because he had been lying down.

He approached the table somewhat cautiously, not sure what was pushing him to start a conversation or something. He figured he was jut feeling a little more lonely than normal. He hesitated again before taking the last few steps, standing beside the table. "Hey, I'm Damon. Mind if I sit here?" he asked, indicating the table. He wasn't sure what he'd say if he was turned down, but whatever. He had no problems in making a new friend, unless the blonde didn't want to. He seemed to have been enjoying his evening as well, so maybe he didn't want to share that? Damon had no idea about any of that, but it was worth a shot, if anything.

Justin was lost in thought, day dreaming as he had been doing a lot of latly. Dreaming of that prefect guy, hell he didn’t even had to be prefect for nothing and no one was prefect but a guy that was loyal, and acepted him for what he was, and wouldn’t fool around with him and lead him on just to break his heart. He was losing hope that he would find anyone, he had his profile up on a few gay sites but took it down after attracting to many sickos. Now he was alone, reduced to sitting at a picnic bench on a beautiful night alone. Would he be spending this summer alone to? He didn’t know if he could do that, maybe his standards were too high maybe he just give in and hook up with one of the men that had replied to his onlinedating profile. He shook his head is discust. He couldn’t do that and he wouldn’t. There was someone out there for him and he would wait no matter how long it took.

Taking another candy and popping it in his mouth he was about to head back home defeated again when he heard a voice behind him he nearly leaped out of his skin. He looked up at the boy quickly, he looked to be about his age, and didn’t seem to be a perv. So he nodded and waved his hand “Sure” He paused. “I am Justin its nice to meet an other night hawk like myself” He nodded. “I cant see justifing sleeping through a night like this” He ran a finger through his hair. This guy was very good looking, Jutin found himself staring then blinked blushing slightly then thought up a lie so not to freak him out. “Sorry about that I tend to gap out” He noticed the mixed slurpee “I see you like different flavours as well” He grinned and took another sour candy and breathed in the night hair, a gust of wind blew and exposed more of his developed and tanned chest. He made no attempt to cover up though it was hot. He simply just leaned back and waited for him to reply.

Damon smiled and sat down when the other male allowed it. He took a sip of his slurpee as Justin spoke. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Nights like this are great. I wouldn't be able to stay inside" he agreed, nodding. he noticed that Justin's eyes were one him for a bit longer than normal, but he couldn't see the blush in the dim light. "Ah, it's alright, I do the same" he waved a hand in dismissal, smiling. He glanced down at his slurpee at the observation, before at the blonde's own. "Yeah, It's boring if it's just one" he laughed, taking another sip.

His eyes caught sight of the other's chest and his eyes lingered for a moment before snapping up, hoping Justin hadn't noticed, even though he had been obviously staring, even if it wasn't for long. He ran a hand through his bright red hair, leaning back a bit and looking up at the sky. "God, it's a beautiful night" he commented, sighing in contentment. It was a great night, plud he was in the company of a very attractive guy, who he seemed to have some in common with, that he knew of so far at least. He was hoping he had just made a new friend, and he couldn't help but wonder if he was another homophobe, like so many others.

Justin watched him sit down and again let his eyes linger. There was no way that this man was gay like him, he found all the cute guys were either taken or straight, he used to laugh when he heard girls say that all the guys were taken or gay, but he disagreed, and now infront of him was so dreamy. Breaking out of his trance Justin checked the mans ears quickly he coudnt see any earing in the “gay” side but then Justin had his own taken out, he was too scared that he would get jumped and beaten up, he had happened before, his eye was just finishing to heal up and you could only see the little swelling if he turned a certain way. And not in this dim light for that he was thankful for, he didn’t know how this man would take to him being openly Gay.

He smiled up at the man again as he spoke could he tell that Justin hand spent a little too much time staring at him? But then he noticed that Damon was staring at him as well, was he like him? He took a long sip of his slurpee to try to clear his head. He was at least enjoying the company and the night was so beautiful. He looked over at the man in the more dimming light “So are you home for the summer, or have I just not seen you around?” Justin wasn’t sure how to talk or what to talk about and he hoped this would be a good starting point. Yes he was a open gay man, but he was still recovering from being jumped in the next town and wasn’t fully ready to be beat up again. And since he didn’t recognize Damon how could be be sure that this guy wasn’t from few towns over to finish the job?

Damon himself had in fact taken the earring out of his right ear. He normally wore a small silver stud, and he rarely took it out, screw getting beaten up, but he felt like having a rather peaceful night. It was on his bedside table, waiting to get put back in when he got home. He couldn't see one on Justin, so he was either straight, or had the same kind of case as he himself did. He had only been beaten up for it once, but it was pretty bad, sending him home to his uncle with a broken arm, black eye, and broken rib, with some internal bleeding. That had been the year before, and the only evidence left was scars over his chest where he had gotten surgery.

Damon was sure that Justin was staring at him again, but he could still be imagining it, wishing that he actually was gay. At the question he shook his head. "Nah, I'm here all year. Ilove it here. I guess we just havn't come across each other at all" he shrugged. He had never seen Justin before, he was sure. He had no ideas for conversation topics either, but he would just go with it, coming up with it as he went along. "So I'm guessing you live around here too?" he asked, tilting his head to the side so that his bangs fell out his his face a bit.

Justin sighed again breathing in the warm summer night air, he caught Damon staring and knew that he had to be caught. Well it was now our never, he brought a hand to his right ear and played with his hole smiling at the boy, if he got beat up for this so be it, his entire family was home and with his father being a family doctor, his mother being a social working and his older brothers being in medical school he would be in good hands if he did get beat up as long as he didn’t get too beat that he couldn’t make it, but then his brothers would be looking for him if he wasn’t home by midnight.

Justin shook his head he was lost in though. He nodded. “Yeah I guess that’s it, even in small towns its easiy to not to run into certain people, I keep pretty busy with the swim teams and other sports as well” He again ran his fingers through his hair “Yeah I live just down the block, whole family is home for the Holidays, two older brothers and of course my younger sisters, who are on summer break. He was now absentmindling playing with his right ear where his earing should have been.

He couldn’t get over how good looking this man was, if only he was lke him but he was certain he had a girl somewhere waiting for him. He took another sip of his slurpee and took a candy then offered the bag to Demon for him to choose on. “I like sour Candies, the more sour it is the better” He winked then waited to see what he would do.

Damon's attention was brought to Justin's ear as he fiddled with it, and he was able to see a hole. At first he wasn't sure if he was actually seeing it, or just wishing enough that he thought he saw the small hole, but after looking at it for a moment he was sure it was actually there. His eyebrow twitched up ever so slightly, and he gave a small smile. It seemed a bit too good to be true here, but he was making no complaints here. He didn't comment on it though, the only sign of his acknowledgement being his eyes flicking to it every once any awhile, unable to help himself.

"Mhmm" Damon agreed, nodding. He didn't tend to pay attention to many people he saw anyways, though he would have noticed somebody looking as Justin did. He laughed quietly, smiling. He wished his house was like that. "Sounds crowded" he said, tipping his head back to look at the sky again. "Mine's a bit empty. Just me and my uncle" he shrugged, not minding it, but wishing it was like it had been before, when his parents actually loved him, and everything was fine.

Damon smiled and picked a candy out of the bag when it was offered to him, grinning. "I agree completely" he replied, grinning wider and tossing the candy into the air, catching in in his open mouth. He tended to do that often, finding it more fun than just sticking it in. He made a bit of a sour face but it was soon gone. He was good at dealing with sour things in the first place. "So, you got your ear peirced?" he brought up as casually as possible, wondering where this would go.

Justin was still not fully aware that he was playing with his ear, something he tended to do when he was nervous, and his beautiful man sitting infront of him was making him nervous. He couldn’t help but stare at him, and just wish that he was like him. He didn’t normally think this way about the men he came accros if he did he would go crazy, although he had come out nearly 3 years ago he had still had never had a boyfriend. And he had nearly given up, nice boys like him didn’t fair to well, sure he was athletic, but more on on swim team then anything really athetic. Justin thought he saw a twitch of Damon’s eyebrow but he shook his head he must be seeing things. But the smile he did see and Justin cocked his head to one side curious on what made him smile.

As he took the candy Justin smiled himself. So he liked sour candy as well, if nothing else maybe hecould have a friend, as long as he was not some homophopic guy that would beat the crap out of him the first chance he got. At the sour face he made Justin let out a snicker. He too would eat the candies to get the sour face. He put a candy in his mouth as Damon asked the question. He immeditaly began to chock trying to catch his breath he looked up at Damon swallowed and took a deep breath. It was now or never he swung his legs on the other side so if Damon made his move he could take off. But the truth was best, he brought his hand to his ear again playinging with the hole and nodded. “Yes, about three years ago and yes, I am fully aware that its in the so called gay ear, it was on purpose.” He looked as if he was ready to bolt if he came towards him he wasn’t ashamed of what he was, it just scared his sisters to see him all bloodied, they had cried themselves to sleep for days after the last time and had been scared to let him out of their sight. He only was out now since they were sleeping. He looked up at Damon again wondering what he was going to do.

Damon drank more of his slurpee slowly, not wanting to get brain freeze. Observing Justin, he could tell that he seemed to be a bit nervous, but he couldn't understand why. If anything, he was making the redhead nervous. Mostly because he wasn't used to just hang out with people, especially other guys, who were most likely going to either turn and run, or knock him out, the moment they figured out he was gay. The corner of his mouth twitched up again as Justin tilted his head, finding it rather cute, but he hid that as well as he could, looking around the darkening night.

He looked back to the blonde as he choked on the candy he was eating, wondering if the reaction he got could mean that he was right. He seemed to be reluctant to say it. He sat up a bit straighter as Justin put his legs over the side, looking rather jumpy. At his words Damon smiled widely, seeing that his suspicions were correct, and this was verbal proof. "Same here. A few years ago now. That's the reason I live with my uncle instead of my parents" he said happily, glad that he had finally made a friend who was gay. He hadn't actually talked to another in awhile, and he didn't know any at the moment, until now.

Justin’s jaw dropped and he turned to Damon as he responded with a “me too” He couldn’t belive his ears this beautiful man like him being gay?. He could not have heard right. He turned to him. “Are you serious? I thought I was the only one left in this town” Justin grinned big and let out a nervous laugh. “What a relife that is, you see I am not ashamed of being gay, I was just badly beaten up a couple weeks back, acutally in certain light you can still see the swelling mainly around my eyes, seems to happen a lot, people think they can beat the gay out of me.” Justin took a long sip of his slurpee, tryng to get it all drank before it all melted.

He shrugged then moved his feet back under the table. “My sisters were so scared when my brothers found me, I only got out of the house because my sisters are asleep, I couldn’t let my sisters see me beat up again.” He swallowed hard then looked up at him again. “But now that I am sure that you are not going to bash my head in” He chuckled. But then turned serious. “You live with your uncle?” He wondered if he was the kind that his parents kicked him out when he came out, he wondered if Damon was that type but he wouldn’t ask it wasn’t his place to, they had just met, there hopefully would be time for that. Unless….unless of course he was arleady dating someone. Justin took a deep breath and decided to take a chance. “Is your boyfriend from around here?”

It was a round about way if he was single. How he hoped that he was, even if they could only hang out as friends, but a realionship would be even better, but all in good time, for now just friends would be nice. Someone to hang out with during the summer, go to the water slides, hiking, anything really, just hanging out too. Maybe a movie or two. And go from there. Justin looked up at him and chewed his bottom lip awaiting for a reply

Damon grinned slightly when Justin's mouth fell open. "Yeah. Found out a few years back. Social outcast ever since" he replied, shrugging. "Heh, I know what you mean. You're the first I've met in a long time. I've only been beaten once, since I tend to avoid crowds as much as I can" he let out a sigh, wishing it didn't have to be like that. The way society was these days was just messed up. If everyone could just accept gays for who they were, not who they liked, then it would all be so much better than it currently was.

He grimaced slightly, wondering what his brother and sister would do if that happened to him when they were around. When he was beaten up he hadn't seen his siblings until he was better, not wanting to scare them or something. "Yeah. My parent's aren't exactly supportive" he replied, grimacing again. He didn't want to be too descriptive about that at the moment, so that was as far as he was going with it. His mouth twitched a bit at Justin's question. "Ah, don't have one. Havn't for a looong time. You?" he asked, glancing sideways at him, trying to act casual, but he was eager for the answer. It would be nice to start a relationship, but not right away. Just hanging out and being friends would be nice for now. All he needed was some form of companionship.

Damon took another sip of his slurpee, glancing around, not settling his eyes on anything for to long, pretty much showing that he was anxious for the answer. If he wasn't single it was still cool, they could still turn out to be great friends, but it would still be nice if he was. He would love to finally be in a relationship again, with someone who actually cared for him, and was actually nice, and not pushy. Justin seemed to fit these standards, so this might just go somewhere.

Justin nodded along with Damon. “Yeah I have learned that sometimes its just best to leave the earing out, I am not ashamed but well I’d rather not get beat up everytime I go out” He sipped at his slurpee and simply enjoyed the night air and the compony of Damon. He was grateful that he had met him even if they would just be friends he needed more friends he loved his family but a summer alone at home all summer long would be near toture. But now it looked that he would at last have a friend, that was at least if he was single, any boyfriend would be likely to be jelous and not want them to hang out. But with any luck he would be single and they could still be friends.

He saw he grimace and swallowed hard, he hadnt wanted his younger sisters to see him like that but they were still awake when he got home, they had recovered other then being afraid to go outside after dark. Justin closed his eyes and shook his head as Damon mentioned his parents not being supportive. “Man that’s rough Im sorry” But since Damon wasn’t going to go any further neather was he.

But then Justin smiled slightly his hair falling infront of his face when he stated he had no boyfriend. “Nah me neither, never had one, tried one of those internet sites you know but it was full of sickos and perves, you know the type, want you to do everything on cam for them?” He shuddered. He then looked up at him. “I manily asked since I have heard some boyfriends can be jelous you know, and not let their boyfriend talk to another gay man. I was making sure I wasn’t going to get you into trouble” He grinned again looking up at him, yes he hoped down the word that they could have a realtionship but for now just hanging out and getting to know eachother would be good. He had to keep up his training this summer but would have a lot of free time as well.

Damon nodded in agreement, knowing exactly what he meant. "Yeah, it's nice to have some peace, and not be judged every time you walk outside" he said, smiling. He was planning on putting his earring back in when he got home, not liking to take it out too often. He needed a break every once and awhile, but other than that he kept it in. He wasn't ashamed of his sexual preference, nor should he, so he liked to have it. He drank more of his slurpee, leaning his back against the table, stretching his legs out to get more comfortable.

He waved it off when Justin said it was rough, pretty over it by now. "Yeah, a bit, but I'm pretty good with it now. My uncle's real great with it, so he's my parental support" he smiled, shrugging. It was a bit farther with it, but he wasn't going to share much more about it. He tried to seem like it didn't matter to him, but it still did twinge a bit when he thought about it. Like betreyal. He let out an almost inaudible sigh into the warm night, taking another sip of his slurpee.

Damon glanced at his new friend when he spoke, grimacing slightly. "Yeah, I know the sites. That's why I've never used one" he said, making a face. He turned a way for a moment to hide his grin, happy to hear that he was single also. "Mhmm. That wouldn't be too great. I don't like guys that are too jealous" he made another face. He could relate to that, completely. The only boyfriend he had had would get mad at him for talking to the only other guy man he knew, but then both of them had moved away at different times, leaving him alone in the world of straights, until now that is. "So neither of us are going to be getting in trouble for hanging out" he said with a slight laugh and a smile. That was always a god thing.

Justin smiled, it was nice to be able to be fully himself not that he ever preteneded to be someone he wasn’t, but he could be openly Gay with Damon and no fear of being rejected, even for friendship. He smiled and took another sip of his slurpee. He smiled to himself again, he too planned to put his earing back in, everyone in this town knew what he was, so as long as he didn’t travel too far he would be safe.

“Well its good that you have someone to be able to count on” He didn’t press it more then, he had heard of family disowning gay members and shhe just assumened that happened to him that would be heartbreaking but they just met so it wasn’t his place to ask anything else. He would take the info in has he gave it to him.

Justin looked up again. “Well tommrow I have a swim met at Greenaway pool Noon to about 3” He said shrugging mentioning the local outdoor pool. “Yeah it’s a big meat, to see who are going to make it to the simifinals” He smiled again, “but after that I am free if you want to hang out again” He mentioned to excepting him to come to his swim met. “But its good to know that neither of us are going to catch hell for hanging out” He ran his fingers through his hair and closed his eyes sighing. “So do you have any plans for tommrow that is”

Damon was enjoying his evening more than he thought he would, just expecting to have a lonely night wandering the beach alone or sitting around somewhere, staying cool and just hanging out. Instead he had met someone who was gay like him, seemed to be a great guy to hang around with, and on top of that, was gorgeous. He let out a quiet happy sigh, looking up at the stars, wondering vaguely what time it was, but not wanting to check just yet. They would both have to go home eventually, but he wasn't sure how soon.

"Yeah. Everyone needs at least one person to count on" he smiled, running his fingers through his red hair, allowing cool air to brush his scalp. It was still warm, but on the cooler side now that the sun was down. He was perfectly fine dropping the subject of his parents, but he had a feeling that Justin would end up getting all the details some time this summer. He couldn't hold it in forever, and he knew it would be nice to have somebody to confide in.

"Cool, sounds like fun" Damon smiled when Justin mentioned the swim meet. He too swam, but not competitively. Just rereational. "Sure. I've got soccer tomorrow at 1:30 so I'll be done around three" he meant 'done' as in finished the game, gotten home, and showered. The games were only about an hour anyways, he just didn't want to be all nasty and sweaty. "So I've got no plans after that. Should we meet here then?" he asked, looking around the dark night, not knowing where else they would meet up, or what they would do in any case. They would figure it out though, undoubtebly.

Justin smiled again as Damon run his hands through his hair he couldn’t keep his eyes off of him, and he knew that they had just met but he couldn’t help but think about him and dreaming about them together, he knew his family would be so happy to hear that he had found a friend and would be even happier if they found out he was dating someone, but it was too soon for that and he knew it as much as it pained him, he would take it slow and easy, become friends first, Justin knew it had something to do with him never having a boyfriend before and wanting to have someone to laugh with and maybe in time love.

Still the night was turning out to be prefect, there were no punks around to disturb them, it was just two guys hanging out and although they had just met Justin hoped they could become close friends, even just to hang out and get to know eachother more. It seemed that both of them were involved n sports, Damon had Soccor and he himself had Swimming and loads of other things. “Tommrow around that time sounds good, I normaly take my sisters hiking but I will pass for tommrow.” He popped a candy into his his mouth then looked at Damon “You like to hike?”

Damon was completely content sitting there with his new friend, going over a few of the things that the two of them already had in common that they knew. There were quite a few things, even if they hadn't known each other long. He could see that this would probably; hopefully; turn into a beautiful friendship. He didn't dare think over the idea of it getting to something more any more than he already had, not wanting to get his hopes up just to be crushed if it didn't turn out. He was always scared that he would finally find something, and then it didn't work, leaving him in a bad shape, but hopefully that wouldn't happen.

"Sounds good. I'll be quick after soccer" he smiled, liking the idea of hanging out with him again already. "Hm, yeah, but I don't get around to it much" Damon admitted, shrugging. It was nice that Justin was able to hang around with his sisters that much. He would like to hang around with his own siblings some more, but his parents tried to prevent that as much as they could. He only got to see them every month or so, depending on what excuses they could make up to come and see him, even if they lived so close. He sipped at more of his slurpee, giving a light shiver as he swallowed the mouthful, despite the warm night. He normally got chills when he took to big a sip, ending up with brain freeze, or his teeth being cold or something.

Justin smiled over at Damon as he anserwed the questions, so after soccor and his swimming they would get toghether and was happy that he liked hiking too. “Well I will have to take you sometime, we can go on a easier one to start I just love being out in nature” He let silence fall upon them realizing that the silence didn’t bother him, that they could just sit around and either talk or just enjoy the night. It seemed that their friendship would be a easy one, they were alike and although they had just met he was still looking forward to hanging out tommrow after their events, he knew he should get home and get some sleep but with this heat he knew that it would be impossible to sleep any time soon so he would just enjoy this time outside.

Jusin took another big drink of his slurpee and then climbed up on the top of the table and laid down and looked at the stars “Arent they lovely?” He turned to Damon as he saw the shiver and he lifted himself up on one elbow. “Are you oka Damon?” His shirt was open giving him a nice view of his tanned, perfect chisled chest. “Drink it a bit too fast?” He then laied back down stairing up at the sky again looking up at the sky again popping another candy into his mouth. Running his hand through his hair not fully realizing what he was doing his muscles glisting in the moon light.

Damon smiled and nodded, liking the idea. "Sure, sounds great" he said, thinking of how nice that would be. "I love nature too. I used to go hiking with my parents every once and awhile, but not anymore" he explained, taking a sip of his slurpee. He did wander around in the woods every once in awhile, but it wasn't really much of a hike. He would just walk around for an hour or so before going home, not finding it as nice without somebody there. He let them fall into a comfortable silence easily, finding no problem with it what so ever. He shifted his back against the table lightly, not even paying attention to the faint scratching sound it made against his shirt.

He glanced at Justin as he climbed onto the table top, lying down. He looked up at the stars when his friend did, smiling. "Yeah. They're beautiful" he replied, blinking slightly as Justin leaned up on his elbow, giving him a great view of his chest. "Um, yeah. I need to slow it down a bit sometimes" he answered, grinning slightly. He couldn't help himself when his eyes followed Justin's chest when he laid back down. He wanted so badly to reach out and touch the shimmering muscles, but he kept his hands to himself, averting his eyes and blushing slightly.

Looking at Damon Justin could tell there was a little bit of pain there and shook his head, he didn’t understand how a family abandon someone for the way they were was beyond him. That was like banishing your child for not being the right hight, or for the job they chose. Justin wanted to reach out and comfort Damon but he knew it wouldn’t be right, not yet at least they werent there yet and he knew that he couldn’t even think that way, he needed to slow down, just the excitement of metting a good looking, single, gay man in his own town was a little overwhelmed.

Justin blinked then sat up suddenly “Oh man, I’m sorry, I just like laying on the table and staring up at the stars” He paused “You get a better view you know” He then paused and blushed deeply realising what he had just said “I meant of the stars you know” He ran his hands through his hair again clearly embarassed now not knowing what to say.

The corner of Damon's mouth twitched slightly when Justin shook his head. He could tell that his new friend felt bad for him, but he didn't need anyone to. As far as he was concerned, most of the time he was perfectly fine. He had somebody to share this with now anyways, someone to be his friend, and he couldn't help but hope that it would turn into more in the end, but he didn't want to get ahead of himself there. If it was going to happen, it would be eventual, not just right away, he was sure. Maybe this summer? It would be nice to have a relationship through the summer, but if they did get together, he hoped it wouldn't just end when the summer did.

He looked up at Justin as the other man sat up. "Hah, it's alright" he brushed it off, smiling slightly, but there was still a bit of a blush on his fae, hopefully hidden by the dark. "I like lying down to look at them as well. Sometimes I lie on my roof at night when it's nice out" he smiled, stretching his legs out. He wasn't very tall, so there wasn't much to stretch, but he didn't want them to get cramped up or anything. He propped his legs up on the bench with him, leaning back on his elbows. There wasn't much room on it, but it was enough so that he didn't fall off.

Justin caught a glismp of Damons smile and his stomach flip flopped. He was gourgeous and although just a friend and they had just met Justin couldn’t help being attracted to him, now could he? He was everything that he wanted, nice, friendly, and atheletic and outgoing, he couldn’t be able to stand being stuck in the house all summer long but with Damon being active like him it was all good. Tommrow they would be able to go hiking and hopefully enjoy themselves there too. He didn’t want to risk it, this was his first gay friend and he definatly didn’t want to blow it. Although deep down he did hope that something would come of it, who wouldn’t?

He grinned as he talked about laying of the roof, “Yes we are blessed with good weather here, sometimes in the heat of the summer I sleep on my roof of the garage right outside my window, my parents get a bit paranoid sometimes thinking I am going to roll off of the roof but, I try to sneak in before they all get up so they are none the wiser” He laughed nervously then he watched as he laid down and watched his chest raise and fall.

He looked at his watch, “You know we should get going, we both have mets in the morning and need our energy up” He jumped off of the table then offered him another candy. “So we are going to met her tommrow?”

Damon was looking forewards to the next day, deffinitly. Along with his soccer, which he loved, he got to hang out with Justin, which would diffinitly be fun. He coulan't wait to hang out with his new friend. He could tell that their friendship was going to work out well, since they had so much in common already, and he was a great person, from what he had seen so far.

He laughed and grinned, seeing why his parents were concerned about that. "I've never actually slept out there. . . only gone out to relax, and clear my mind. It's really nice. But I can see why your parents would be worried" he said, sucking up his slurpee, almost done it now. He glanced at Justin when he mentioned leaving, before slipping his phone out of his pocket and hitting a button, blinking at the scree for a moment.

Damon hadn't realized how late it was getting. He sat up and got to his feet, stretching up to his ful height, arms in the air. He noticed that he was a bit shorter than Justin, as he was with most people, only being five foot eight. "Alright. See you here around three" he said, smiling and taking a candy when it was offered. "Goodnight" he gave a light laugh before smiling and turning around, ready to walk home, the remains of his slurpee in the cup in his hand.

Justin’s eyes watched closely as Damon stood and streched he then stood as well. He noticed that he was a bit taller then Damon but hoped that wouldn’t bother him. ‘I normally don’t mean to fall asleep it just kinda happens its so peacefull, and you know I like the night air on my skin watching the stars” He took another sip of his nearly done slurpee, wondering if the sugary syrup would let him sleep at all tonight. He knew he should not stare but he couldn’t keep his eyes off of Damon

As Damon left Justin’s eyes followed him. “Damon are you going to be okay to walk home alone? Purhapes we live close and just havnt known, its late we should probably should stick together for as long a possible.” Justin paused and looked at his feet and shifted them in the sand. “As long as that is what you want” He shook his head “Man I guess that wouldn’t bee a good idea, your family isnt really suppotive I don’t want to get you in trouble” Justin went to walk in the same way that Damon was. Clearly embarrased about his fumble of words.
