A Sight to See

"Yeah? That's cool. I'm the only one to feed my cats. My mom said if I wanted a pet, I had to take care of it myself" he smiled slightly, recalling the situation. He had his cats now, and he was happy with them. His hand clenched on the table and his smile froze on his face as his ex walked up to the table, facing Nath, arms crossed and his anger written across his features.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" he demanded, venom coating his words. Draylen bit his lip, almost frozen in his frustration and anger, but he was also slightly scared of this individual, who was so much stronger than he.

Parents could help with pets, Nathaniel thought. As a kid, technically, Draylen could still need help with things in the world and his parents were shoving him out to tell him to grow up faster than he needed. He looked at the American who walked over, blatantly disliking him off the bat. "Bed pardon? I'm not sure who you are, but you seem to be getting shirty with me, going to slag me, are you?" he challenged, purposely using British slang to confuse the other. "This is public. Have an eppy of sorts else where." Another problem here, Nathaniel wasn't getting any luck coming here these days, it appeared.

A slightly confused look passed the man's face, mixing with his anger. The slang just irritated him even more. "Don't fuck with me" he growled, standing tall, head up. "Get the fuck away from Draylen and leave him alone, if you know what's good for you. He's fucking mine." Draylen's head snapped up, and he glared at the imposing male.
"Alex, get the hell away from me! Leave us alone!" he hissed, clenching his teeth and glaring at his ex, but he knew better than to go too far with the short-temptered man who had already been set off.

"Well, bollocks. You've done a botch job of keeping him as yours," Nathaniel replied, glaring at the younger male challenging him and daring him to fight back. "Clear off you prat." Draylen obviously didn't want this Alex person anywhere near here. Alex didn't look the kind to back down just because one or two people told him to leave. Could they fight here? Security could be called, and they could lose their jobs if they started a fight in the same mall they worked at.

"Shut the hell up" Alex snarled, slamming one hand on the table, causing Draylen to jump. "He's mine and he knows it. He just doesn't want to admit it. He's mine more than he'll ever be yours" his voice was low and harsh, and his anger seemed to make his voice sound more dangerous than it had when he was with his friends.
"I'm not effing yours! I left you a flipping year ago!" Dray exclaimed, slamming his empty coffee cup on the table, but he was ignored by the black-haired man.

"You are so gagging off your trolley. You couldn't keep him close and demand him back once you see him with someone else. Do you get that jealous without information?" No one was really listening to Draylen. Nathaniel was focusing on the impudent male before him, laying claims to another human. He could slap him right now if it didn't work against his idea for the excuse of self defense if a fight that was most likely to occur, actually broke out in Starbucks.

"I can demand him back all I want, asshat. I have every right to fucking call him mine. How about you? How far have you gone with him?" Alex's voice dropped, and he was speaking softly now, though poison still coated every word. He knew he was going to be treading on thin ice now, but he didn't care. "Have you sucked his dick yet? I have. It's delicious." Draylen's eyes widened and his cheeks were stained with colour, horrified with that Alex had just let loose.

"How can you speak so disrespectfully for someone you liked?" Nathaniel asked, half pushing himself up from the table. He wanted to fight back, but not start the fight. He was almost willing to goad the other into a fight, as long as he had others claim that he wasn't the one who threw the first punch. Or whatever they fought with. At least there wasn't any knives or forks around, even plastic ones. "Even if you could call him yours, why would you talk about him that way if you still liked him any?"

"I can talk about him however the hell I want! He knows I love him!" Alex snapped, neither of them even using Draylen's name anymore. "I'm only stating the truth anyways. And he knows it" a smirk crept across his featured for a moment, only to rub it in the Brit's face. "Because I'm angry, okay? Because he left me, and now he's got. . . you." he sneered, and Dray growled in frustration, getting to his feet.
"Both of you just stop fighting!" he turned, fleeing the store, fairly sure the others would follow him, so they wouldn't be causing a scene in the middle of Starbucks. He could tell that Alex was following already, and he hoped to make it outside before the other caught him.

Nathaniel had been about to tell him how he couldn't blame Draylen for leaving him with the kind of temper he had. Nathaniel would never think twice about a person who got angry at the littlest thing, jumped to conclusions on the spot, no matter how good looking they appeared to be. Nathaniel looked at Draylen rushing out, glaring after Alex as he followed. He was taller than the dark haired rival, he moved quicker than the other, despite having a lead on him. "Draylen!" he called, leaving Starbucks, which had started to get edgy with the boys' growing tension. Was Draylen that upset about them fighting?

Draylen dipped around people as he ran, trying not to bump into anybody, as did Alex, suprprisingly. He headed straight for the nearest exit, able to hear Nathaniel's voice calling after him, echoed by Alex's, the two following after him, getting closer. He wished now that he had both longer legs, and he was faster in general. He glanced back to see Nath had passed Alex, but he looked back forward, slamming through the doors into the afternoon, stopping to catch his breath, hands on his knees.

Weaving around people who were giving them strange, maybe concerned looks, Nathaniel muttered a few excuses as he nearly or did bump into people. Being an adult, he didn't really have the same insolent excuse as a teenager. He would guess he looked teenager enough though, other students his age or people in general looked older than him. And probably a lot more manlier. He ran out the doors that Draylen had disappeared through, outside and away from the people of the mall. While they had less witnesses, good and bad ones, they had more space should they fight.

Dray could feel that Nath was there even before he pushed through the doors, and he looked up, straightening up. No sooner did he glance at the door, that Alex was there, glaring at Nathaniel again. "What, decided to take this outside, did we?" his voice was slightly mocking as he looked to Draylen, who glared at him.
"Alex, just leave me alone!" he demanded, but the black haired boy had already turned back to the reader.
"So what, pussy, you wanna prove who's he is? Winner of the fight gets him" Alex said confidently. Draylen's mouth opened in shock and protest, but the younger of the two other men ignored him.

"A duel of sorts?" he asked, though he knew they were properly called fights anywhere. His idea of duel was earning a reward in the end, winner take all, loser stays away. A fight to him was just beating someone up senselessly. He was sure Draylen wouldn't like him betting on him in winning. If Nathaniel lost to his opponent he didn't have Draylen, and they'd only just started. If he agreed to a fight with mutual understanding that they were both involved, he could get in trouble with witnesses claiming he had agreed to the fight. Maybe he could talk his way into a self defense battle and hold no terms of who Dray stayed with. "You need to request a fight? Get bent, twat."

"Duel? What fucking decade are you from, doucher?" Alex asked, sneering at him. He was starting to think that all British people were like that. "I don't need a request to do anything. I was just trying to be a gentleman, instead of beating your face in for trying to take what's mine." Draylen growled at this, standing up straighter.
"I am NOT some hunk of PROPERTY! Leave me alone Alex!" Dray shouted, hoping that would make him listen.
"I am leaving you alone. It's your boy toy I'm not" Alex grinned at the shortest of the three, who just glared back, fuming. "Now, are you going to fucking fight me or not?" the attention was turned back to Nath.

"I'm from your decade, actually. I'm just older than you, and apparently smarter." He was also British. Silly Americans they were. He nearly thought 'stupid Americans,' but Draylen was one too. "Am I going to fight you? Do you need to ask?" Did everyone ask for a fight around here? He was sure brawls started off with someone attacking the other while the other didn't expect it at all. Or was at least unprepared, and Alex had just made Nathaniel neither. He could fight with or without weapons, not that he had much training. Self defense was simply doing what you could to not get hurt.

"I don't give a shit how smart you are, pretty boy" Alex said bluntly, his body tensing visibly, and Draylen knew he was getting ready to fight. He couldn't believe this was happening. He had been dating Nathaniel for maybe half an hour, and now this. "I don't have to ask, but I thought I'd be nice before I kicked your ass and took your boyfriendAlex took a few steps towards Nathaniel, shoving him back with both hands. Draylen gasped, worried about what was going to happen here. He was going to stop it, once he figured out how, without causing a ruckus.

Nathaniel nearly had a laugh when all he got was a shove from the other. He now had permission to fight back, and he wasn't the one who started it. He had to make it look like self defense anyway. He wasn't eager to fight, but if it was for Draylen he wanted to. "Well, come on then? Is that how you people start fights in America?" he challenged. He had his tarot with him, they would decide this fight. He could feel them warm through his pants pocket, they were urging him on, he could feel it.

"Most of the time, yes. Starts off with an angry shove, turns into a bloodbath. It happens" Alex growled slightly at the Brit's smart mouth, throwing a quick punch at the older's gut. Draylen's eyes were wide, since he knew Alex had been in his fair share of fights, and most of the time came out victorious.
"Alex, stop! Just leave him alone!" Draylen called, standing a few feet away, worrying for his reader.

Nathaniel doubled over as he was hit in a cheap shot area. He figured it could have been worse. It seemed that the other person had more experience fighting, and in other circumstances that might have fazed him, but with his cards telling him to go, he was rather confident. He lashed out with a punch of his own, his arms longer than Alex's. Did the other expect him to recover as he did? He was still getting the wind back to his lungs, but fights weren't won with recovery time each hit. "Bloodbath? You make it sound as if we've got swords in our possession," he commented, backing up to keep distance.

Alex gave a satisfied smirk when his blow connected, but he didn't let down his guard, a bit surprised at how quickly the retaliation came, but he was quick enough to turn into it, just clipping his shoulder. "You may not, but I might" he smirked again, dancing forward and sweeping his leg at Nathaniel's, hoping to unbalance him, throwing another punch at the same time.
"Alex! Nathaniel! STOP!" Draylen yelled, fists clenched, terrified of what the outcome of this could be.

Nathaniel jumped back, barely quick enough from being tripped and taken advantage of. "Concealed weaponry? I see you're a big fan of cheap shots!" He ran forward, using his elbow to ramrod the darker haired boy. If that failed, he had half a mind to knee him in the gut. "Your half-arsed fighting is quite a laugh." He wasn't one to talk right now. His fighting seemed to be half what Alex was pulling. He needed to at least look capable of backing up his talk.

"Didn't say I'd use it" Alex replied shortly, not caring if he used cheap shots anyways, if it got him what he wanted. He stumbled back a few paces when Nath's elbow met him, managing to keep his balance though. He was keeping his center of gravity low, hoping to stay on his feet and be sturdier that way. "And you're so great? I don't think so" Alex retorted, ducking his head down to get under Nath's guard as he ran at him, hoping to catch him around the waist or something to get him down.
"Guys just STOP! Is nobody even listening to me anymore? Just STOP IT!" Dray could feel his despair, clenching his teenth to keep his lip from trembling. He felt like an idiot wanting to cry like this, but maybe it would make the two of them stop, he was concidering it now, if they still didn't listen.

"So you're bluffing. All bark and no bite," Nathaniel announced, moving back and to the side in anticipation of whatever Alex was doing ducking down. A low blow, he had to assume. "You'll have to show me you're not just talking. Blow me." The first time he had used that in America he had gotten amazed stares. He later figured out that it meant for a blow job. For him, it originally meant blow me away, impress me. He knew Alex would take it the wrong way, understanding none of his slang, as most Americans didn't. Maybe it would catch him off guard. Alex liked talking, maybe he could get him while he was babbling about something stupid.

"Ha! I'm more bite than you'll ever be" Alex retorted, following after Nath as he moved away, dipping forward to catch the Brit around the ankles with his leg again, giving him a hard shove, hoping to get him on the ground that way. Fighting was so much easier once someone was on the ground. Preferrably the other person. "Blow you? Fuck no. Dray only, no matter how pretty you are" Draylen rolled his eyes at this statement, unable to help himself.
"Fine, don't listen to me. I see how much you both fucking care!" he ran a hand through his hair, thinking about throwing himself at Alex to get him away from Nathaniel or something. "Just stop fighting before one of you regrets it!" Dray's voice was raised to be sure he was heard by the two, before he let out a rather loud sob, this being one of his only plans to get them to stop. He could feel the tears running, and he hoped that nobody he knew was going to be walking by any time soon. He didn't cry very often, but when he did, he hated it. He always felt like crap after.
