Ryota continued to laugh, glancing back at the building, grinning mainiacally(sp?). He tried to hold his laughter to a level that he wouldn't be doubled over and dropping things, which worked, sort of. He was running a bit hunched over and his face was turning red with laughing. One of the dishes slipped and he dropped it, not looking back at it as he ran, laughing even harder at the people running away from them. It had been awhile since he stole from a resteraunt like that, and he had only done it by himself, which was just boring.

Sora led Ryota out of the village quickly, and soon enough they were running through the path they had raced, to get there the first time. "Okay, Ryota! This time it's a race, but you can't drop anything! Who ever drops the least amount of food and still makes it in first place is the winner," he shouted over his shoulder towards him. He was pretty good at balancing the food and dishes, and he was careful about the drink that sloshed everywhere. It wouldn't be very difficult.

Ryota was careful not to drop anything now, even though they had more than enough food anyways. When Sora said they were going to race again he opened his mouth in disbeleif. "What!? Racing is fine, but that's cheap. . . I'm obviously going to drop more! That's just cheating!" he complained. There was no way he'd be able to make it all the way back, running, without dropping everything.

"Yeah, well, don't drop everything to win," Sora said, laughing. This time he was obviously and openly cheating, sure, but he'd win for sure this time. Even if he could have won for sure the last time, he'd be showing Ryota he was winning for sure. This would be some of the most outdoor fun he'd had in weeks! This was the way to live! It was how he had his fun, and Ryota seemed to enjoy it too. Maybe he'd take him out of the base for a while some day, just to show him how much fun it had been when he had been traveling everywhere.

Ryota growled and sped up, trying to watch the ground, where he ws going, and the plates he was holding at the same time. "Cheater" he yelled, spilling some of the food as he ran. "Shit" he muttered, steadying the plate and running faster, trying to hold it all steady, as well as his drink. He really wasn't going to have much luck with this, but he didn't really care if he came in first in the race, as long as he still had food left over.

"Ah well!" Sora called back, laughing. "Gotta be careful and you gotta be fast if you even plan on winning!" He knew Ryota couldn't do it. Which made it funny, actually. Both of them knew who couldn't do what and sort of why. Ryota was clumsy and tried rushing things, therefore he wouldn't be able to keep balance very well on the food and try to win at the same time.

Ryota stuck his tongue out at Sora's back as he ran, knowing that there was no way he'd be able to win this. "I hate youuuu!!" he called, trying to catch up without dropping anything. He knew that it wasn't going to happen, but he still wanted his breakfast. Especially after running, he would be even more hungry.

"That's not what you said in bed last night," Sora shot back, snickering. Complete and total opposite of what had been said in bed with him. He was doing most of the moaning and screaming actually. He always did. "I didn't hear you make any complaints when we were going at it, you know," he said, trying to keep his body moving the right way so too much food didn't drop off.

Ryota grinned slightly and laughed. "How do you know I wasn't lying last night? I could just stick with you to get laid and still hate you" he suggested, even though it was obviously not true that he hated Sora. Far from. "It's a bit hard to complain while you're screwing me into the matress anyways" he added, smirking. He managed to not drop much more, and he was forcing himself to catch up to his lover, though he was still trying not to trip on anything.

"That's almost the point," Sora said, making a face as he dropped a few pieces of food. He was getting a bit careless. He'd have to fix that. "Ah, just the thought of you getting dug into the mattress, moaning and screaming is making me hot," Sora groaned. "We can't do it until night time though. Pein'll get really mad if we got at it during the day and get nothing accomplished." The thought of Ryota under him, begging hotly was really turning him on, but he had to try and shake the thoughts from his head. It'd distract him unnecessarily.

Ryota grinned as Sora dropped some of the food he was carrying, knowing that they were close with the amount that they had dropped, sorta. "Hmm, screw Pein, well, okay don't screw him, ew, screw me, but still. We did get something accomplished. . . we stole from a resteraunt and brought the building down. I would call that an accomplishment" he grinned, perfectly fine with the idea of getting banged in the middle of the day again. He didn't care what time it was. He found his thoughts turning dirty as well and he shook his head, not wanting to get distracted and lose the race. He pushed on, trying his best not to drop anything, which worked, for the most part.

"Yes, but that was of our own free will, not from his orders, so we still haven't accomplished anything on his command," Sora said. "As much as I'd love to be banging you good and hard right now, we should finish at least three missions to four, each, before we can settle down and get hot," he said, thinking that four was enough to satisfy Pein for a day.

Ryota rolled his eyes, and that lapse of attention to what he was doing caused a few more things to slide of one of the plates as he ran. "Damnit" he muttered to himself. "Ugh, fine then" he sighed, not liking the idea of having to wait. "Hmm, I hope you know that its impossible to settle down and get hot at the same time" he laughed, grinning widely. They were almost at the base now, which made him grin wider, knowing that he was closer to eating, finishing what he was assigned to, and then he could do what he wanted.

"Tch, you know what I mean," Sora said, rolling his eyes. They'd be at the base soon enough, so then they could eat, then get to work. The faster they got the work done, the better. He looked at the food they carried. They'd dropped roughly the same amount, or so it appeared to look as. Sora sped up, leaving Ryota to watch him run ahead of him a couple feet away. No doubt that'd get him mad and he'd try to speed up. He might drop some of his food doing it though.

Ryota laughed again, knowing that Sora was rolling his eyes, even though he couldn't see them at the moment. "Yeah yeah, I know" he said, narrowing his eyes slightly as the redhead sped up, and he increased his speed as well, knowing he wouldn't win, but he didn't want to be too far behind. He won the first race, still not aware that he hadn't really won, so he shouldn't come too far behind in this one.

Sora skidded to a halt when he passed an imaginary line that he self proclaimed as the finish line, or even the border line to the Akatsuki base. He turned to Ryota who was still just a little bit away from the 'finish line.' "See, I won, just as I said," he said, smirking.

Ryota slid over the line just after Sora, almost falling but regaining his balance before he did. "You cheated! You distracted me with dirty thoughts!" he challenged, pouting. It was partially true, but he had also lost because he was slower, even though he had 'won' the first race.

"That's okay," Sora said with a short laugh. "I got slightly distracted with those thoughts, too! So now we can eat, do some work, and then probably get hot in bed," he said, smiling cockily. "Okay, so claim the food you want," he said, offering out the plates he had.

Ryota grinned, not surprised that he had gotten distracted as well. It was hard not to be. "Hmm, you know me, I don't care what I eat. You pick, and I'll eat what's left" he said, holding the plates he had out as well. The plates were in disarray, the food having slidden all over the plate while he ran, and half of his rootbeer was gone.

((is slidden even a word? i think it is. . . but it might not be. . . heheheh oh well you know what i mean))

((Uh, no, it's not. You could have just as easily said, "the food having slid all over the plate" but slidden sounds kind of like a word. Just really informal))

"Eh, all right then," Sora said, picking out some of the food and eating it. Him and Ryota could just pick at it and maybe toss whatever was left. If they tried and saved it, the others in the base would go for it.

Ryota smiled as Sora picked out some things to eat. He grabbed a peice of toast off of one of the plates he was eating, and all but shoved it down his throat, having been starving for more than an hour now. "Mmmmm. . . foood. . . . " he mumbled through the toast. Anything would taste good by this point.

"Mhmm," Sora said, grabbing bits of bacon from around one of the plates, choosing the ones that weren't burned to a crisp by the chef. He liked snacking on whatever here and there. Anything was fine, since the base normally had nothing. "Pretty good, huh?" he inquired, looking at Ryota scarfing down toast.

Ryota grinned and sat down, placing the plates he was holding on the ground. He finished the toast and grabbed the bits of bacon that were burnt, not really caring. they still tasted fine. Anything that would fill his stomach and didn't taste horrible would be fine for him. It was how he had grown up, seeing as there was never anything good in the base. "Hell yeah" he replied, nodding and chugging down the rootbeer that was left after the run.

"We still have a pretty decent amount after that race," Sora observed. Which was a good thing. They'd eat their fill and then do whatever with the rest. If any was still there by the time Ryota was done. He ate a lot more than Sora did, and Sora ate less because of his habits that were still there from his traveling days. "What are we doing with this stuff if you can't finish it all?" Sora asked him, knowing Ryota would totally doubt him not being able to finish the food in front of him.

Ryota nodded, surprised he hadn't dropped all of it. "Hmm, stick it in the kitchen and watch everyone else kill each other to get to it" he said with a grin, eating some more off of the plates. It was really good, especially since it was proffesionally made, whereas he was used to eating any crap that was still edible. "Either that or pitch it" he added, knowing that either would get rid of it all too easily.
