I have had a little discussion with some of my friends about this, what would you rather be a werewolf or a vampire?

Me personally would go with werewolf as I find them much more interesting especially if you follow World of Darkness's werewolves which is just totally awesome.

I would much rather be a werewolf. At least they don't need blood to survive lol I hate the taste and smell of blood. or anything metallic for that matter...heh... yeah. if you love rated r books and werewolves, you should totally read the Riley Jenson Guardian series. its totally cool. but anyways, yes, werewolves rock my socks!

Vampires.

Warewolves or licans as they are better known by, do not have selfcontroll. Licans are slaves to the vampires. Vampires can at least controll themselves.

So be an animal, or be a vampire... sign me up for the vampiric side please Very Happy

You know most werewolf lore is absolutely nothing like the movies particularly the underworld series since they created their own separate universe where werewolves and vampires act much differently than what you will find in literature. Oh and werewolves are NOT better known as Lycans but lycanthropes. The term Lycan came from the underworld movies not from any other known source of werewolf lore.

Also vampires are actually known for less self control since they kill humans and don't care and werewolves try not to. So vampires actually fall more on the animal side than werewolves do.

It is true that they act differently to most other literature out there, but do not try to say that they created their own universe as they just took it from White wolf's world of darkness (even the story is not their own). And for white wolf they took it from many different sources both fiction and non-fiction.

And there is all need to fuss about is as I made this thread just for that :3

Well the nice part about it all is you can make up your own history about lycans, vampires and the like. One does not have to go by what movies or literature has to say about either. And as for being a vampire or werewolf, I like vampires because I can make them evil or good depending on what the RP is going to be.

That was one of the more true this I have heard for a long time, they are fictional so there is no prof over how they are going to be like. Unless they sparkle...
