Brothers Of Death (Mamfy bean)

The night sky was filled with anti-air artillery bullets, rockets and bombs. A small war had broken out between an american military group and the Egyptian police at the pyramids of Giza. One of the american groups, group 5, was to relocate in a pyramid and set up computers and radars to get a good idea of where the enemy was, doing recon work basically. Group 5 however was all but destroyed, only two men were left in it: Exer and Slantis Vandroe. Exer and Slantis were twin brothers, not identical, but they did have a good resemblance to each other. Exer and Slantis were already inside a nearby pyramid and had set up the small radar dish and a computer, Exer was typing on the keypad trying to get everything working.

Slantis: I'm gonna go take a peak outside, I'll be right back.

Exer: Ok, I should have this up and running in a few minutes, this is crazy shit, I didn't think the Egyptian police would catch us this quick.

Slantis: Yeah, we got fucked with no lube.

Exer laughed at his brother's joke as Slantis ran around the corner. Suddenly Slantis's piercing scream is heard throughout the halls of the pyramid and Exer jumps up with his gun ready and runs around the corner only to see the most horrifying sight of his life. There was a terribly ugly creature that had came up through the ground and was grabbing onto Slantis trying to take him into the ground also, only Slantis's arms and head were above the ground at the moment and he was going down fast, there was nothing Exer could do.

Slantis: Exer! Help!

Exer: I'll find you Slantis! I'll come for you, just don't forget that! I promise!

And in a split second, Slantis was gone.

Three days later Exer was in an Egyptian jail cell with many dirty criminals, just sitting in the corner by himself. Suddenly the older man next to him speaks.

"That face looks like the face of a man that seen a ghost..."

Exer: You could say that...more like a slimy thing that drug my brother into the ground...had black scales and yellow eyes.

"Ha! What you just described is a rogue demon...they used to say that rogue demons were demons that were exiled from hell and to prove themselves worthy they grab humans from the mortal world and take'em to satan himself."

Exer: So...to rescue my brother I'd need to go to...hell? How would I do that?

"Well you just commit an evil act and die...the quick way of course would be to kill yourself...."

The older man got up and walked away after that. Exer looked down, they hadn't taken his hidden gun yet. Before he could even think about anything but rescueing his twin, he reached for his gun and shot himself through the head.

Exer's soul was in hell now, hell was not the fire and brimstone realm everone thinks it is, it actually resembled Earth, it was just....darker. Hell had a sky, a sky of grey darkness. The new souls that arrived in hell were sent to a place called "The Pit". It was a fighting arena, if you were beaten in battle, then you got sent to the eternal torture and experimentation chambers...but if you won enough fights, you were put into hell's army. The only problem was...Exer only remember his name and the fact that he had commited suicide, he remembered nothing else of his mortal life...

In the palace of the damned, Satan sat on his throne going over the recent "Import" of new souls.

Satan: Well now...we got a new batch, 3000 souls. Pez dear, could you go down to the pit and explain the rules to those mindless dogs for me? My regular ring master was desouled by damien, that evil useless idiot. Just tell them that they have ten matches to prove themselves, if they win more than they lose, then they join my army, if they lose more than they win, off to the chambers.

At the moment the new batch of 3000 souls stood mindless and clueless in the center of the giant arena that was at least a half mile long and wide, Exer was in the very front staring ahead.

Pez was sat in a seat next to her father's throne. She was going over some books that her father had made her read. If she was going to be the final successor of the throne she had much to learn still. The last thing anyone wanted was her brothers, Damien and Calcifer, to become Hell' successor.

As her father begun to speak, Pez looked up from her book and at her father. The mere mention of one of her brothers' names made her tut and roll her eyes. "Foolish imbacile!" She grunted as she rose from her seat, neatly placing the books down where she had just been sat. "I shan't be long father," Pez said with a small smile. She turned on the heel of her boot and begun walking to the arena. Instead of using portals to get herself places, Pez liked to walk through Hell. There was something about the suffering souls that just got her going.

After a few minutes, Pez was at the arena, looking down upon a good 3000 souls. They all looked so clueless. Pez had such a soft spot for the helpless ones. It were as though she were a child on earth with a kitten. "First of all," she started, "I would personally like to welcome you all to Hell. My name is Pez and i'm sure you're all wondering why you have been brought here? Well, i am here to tell you," She said clapping her hands together. "This is The Pit! You have all been gathered here to fight ten matches between yourselves. If you succeed in winning more matches than you lose, you shall automatically become a part of Lucifer's army. If you are to fail...well....you'll just have to wait and see won't you?" She laughed, "You will be called in turn. Please pay attention and most of all....enjoy yourselves!" And with that Pez exited the arena. She would return later to see how things were going. Pez took her time walking back to the palace. She was bored of studying and wanted something to do!

Exer wondered in his mind if he were going to make it or not. When his name was called by the announcer he went into the arena expecting to fail, but when he was pinned to the ground by his head, something inside of him seemed to snap and the next thing you know, Exer was holding his opponent's head with the spine still attached. Not only had he defeated his enemy, but he had killed him, again. If you die in an afterlife realm then your soul simply disappears and its energy goes to whom ever rules over that realm, in this case, satan. Satan was watching the games from his throne window and smiling as Exer exited the arena after his first match.

Satan: Well that one seems rather eager, I havnt seen that finishing move since the dark ages...we might want to keep a watch on him. Oh Pez I have another little chore for you, Calcifer ate my normal errand demon's heart out so I'm sorry to be sending you on such simple assignments, but could you go into the abyssal chambers and retrieve a soul name Lymis for me, don't bother with the last name because he's the only soul in universal history to have a name like Lymis, haha, get him and take him to the science wing will you dear? I want to watch this Exer person...

Down in the pit, Exer was in his cell waiting his next match. His cell mate began to speak to him.

"Well that was interesting, where did that sudden burst of power come from?"

Exer: I don't know...it's like, something inside of me...I remember I came here for a reason, but I can't remember...why do you ask?

"Well...because I'm your next opponent..."

The cell mate said in fear.

As usual, Pez was sat at her father's right hand side. She always enjoyed watching the souls fighting each other. It was almost as fun as torturing them. Her eyes were fixed on Exer. She was amazed at this sudden power outburst. "Mmmm i'd like a bit of that alright," Pez purred then giggled. She looked up at her father with her big red eyes as he spoke to her. She nodded to his instructions, "Of course daddy," She said in her sweet child-like voice. She stood up just as Exer left the area to go back to his cell. "You really should do something about those god forsaken brother's of mine father. They can't be doing you any favours if they keep devouring your demons! If you won't do something about it, i sure will!" Pez flicked her flame red hair and left the royal box to go and collect this soul.

Pez held her hand out infront of her and created a portal which transported her directly to the abyssal and called out "Lymis! I am looking for a Lymis?" Pez called out at the top of her voice, "Lymis come forward at once!"

(ok I'm gonna kinda do a time lapse in this post so I can get to a really cool scene, hope you don't mind)
A hand raised and a body stood, out of the billions there it was noticable enough.

Lymis: That would be me...I guess it's time...

He said and walked to her, he was an italian looking man with slicked back black hair and dressed in what he had died in on Earth, a simple black suit and tie. As Pez escorted him to the science wing he was silent and staring at the floor. Finally they arrived and were greeted by Doctor Gate, a demon scientist who had robotic body reconstruction to enhance and advance himself.

Gate: Ah Pez, always a pleasure, I see you brought us Lymis here. Guards, take him into the prep room.

From the sides, two giantic and very muscular and mean looking monsterous demons took each arm of Lymis and escorted him through the door to Gate's left, Gate beckoned Pez to follow over to a very wide window. The window was overlooking the room Lymis was taken into.

Gate: Come Pez I want you to watch us make demonic history.

Inside the room, Lymis was tied down to a table which was suspended above a pool of green liquid, Gate takes out of his pocket a tiny tube of the same liquid and shows it to Pez.

Gate: It's called necrotic acid, the most acidic sustance in all the universe, only found in the bottom depths of hell itself. Your father is putting together a team of specially engineered demonic soldiers to create a little team to do big jobs in the mortal world, this one happens to be my favorite, see we're going to attempt to bond his DNA with this acid so that he will be entirely composed of it, that way he can mold his nody into different shapes such as stabbing weapons, spikes, or stretch his body. Also, unless every cell of his body is destroyed, he will be able to regenerate any part of his body in mere seconds. This is all of course...if he can survive the procedure, all of our subjects have failed in the past, but as a mortal this man was a necromancer, though it doesn't look like it, but we're about to find out if he can with stand this experiment...shall we?

Gate presses a button and the table Lymis is on is lowered into the pool of necrotic acid below, at the same time, many mechanical arms dip into the acid pool and lights start to glow underneath the acid.

Gate: Well that's it for now, the process takes several hours, thank you for delivering him to us, why don't you check back and see if our little toy is ready?

He said smiling as he walked off to do some more scientific stuff around his lab.

Back at the palace Satan watched as Exer destroyed each of his enemies in grotesque and unique ways, each time he killed, his powers grew.

Satan: Hmm...he'll be perfect for the last experiment...and Gate thinks Lymis is going to be interesting, wait til he sees this one in action after we enhance him...

Pez nodded at Lymis and waited for him to catch up to her. From there onwards they both walked in silence. Pez had Lymis a foot in front of her just incase he chose to try and make an escape. When they finally made it to the science wing, the two of them were greeted by Gate, "Doctor Gate," she said with a smile as he greeted her, "The feeling is mutual my dear friend," Pez watched as two very large, daunting, monstrous demons came and took Lymis away.

Pez then looked to Gate who beckoned her to follow him to a room with a wide window. This window overlooked the room that Lymis had just been escorted to. Pez folded her arms and watched as Lymis was bound and suspended over a pool of green liquid. She frowned slightly before looking up and over to Gate who had taken out a small tube of the same liquid that Lymis was now suspended over. Pez stood there in silence as Gate explained about the acid and why they were going ahead with this experiment. She glanced over through the window every so often to see the progress with Lymis. Pez couldn't take her eyes of Lymis after Gate had pushed the button. There was no emotion in this soul's face. He didn't even cry out in pain once completely in the acid.

Pez looked up at Gate who them suggested her to come back in a few hours when the process was complete, "Gate," she placed her hand on his arm, "It would me my honour to return and see how well your experiment has gone," She replied with a smile. She walked off in the opposite direction, back to the palace to where her father was. Pez walked up to her father, "Lymis should be ready in a few hours father," Pez said with a smile, "This looks like it's going to work! How's Exer doing?" She asked.

Satan was standing with his arms folded behind his back smiling as Pez came up behind him speaking.

Satan: He's doing fantastic...there's only 100 souls left now...how would you feel about a little change in plans for the arena games? I'm thinking we take a legion of storm demons into the arena and have a battle royale, every soul for himself, the last surviving soul wins. What do you think dear daughter?

Storm demons were giant monsters of demons that had special elemental powers, it wasn't often that they were unleashed, one could even call Satan crazy for even suggesting it, but he had a confident smile on his face.

Down in the pit, Exer had been escorted to an all white room and put into a chair and restrained. Gate was standing in front of him with a needle of purple liquid now

Exer: What is this about?

Gate: Just little experiment...to ensure that you win...it seems the dark lord has special plans for you...

Gate stuck the needle in Exer's neck and Exer's body froze up from the feeling of the liquid going into him.

Gate: I admit, you're good, there is something special about you...

As Gate was talking, the liquid seemed to be putting Exer to sleep, and so he was able to catch a few words Gate said and he left the room.

Gate: But to think that this lowly fresh soul could surpass Lymis? Hmph, I must say, I'm starting to question Lucifer's sanity...oh well, he hasn't ever been wrong in the past...let's hope his "right streak" isn't over.

As Gate left the room he turned to the demon guard at the door and spoke to him.

Gate: Put him in the prep room, Lucifer gave me orders to give him the full treatment...

Guard: Yes Doctor Gate, I'll make sure he's ready for you.

And then Exer blacked out.

Pez smirked as she stood up next to her father. She was a lot shorter than he but just as evil minded. "I do quite like that idea father...i think we should do it. We can allow Exer to really show us what he's made of. I say do it father," Pez said, feeling very up for the idea. She could sense that her father was extremely confident about this idea, which made Pez feel just as confident that Exer will succeed.

Pez watched the spectacular battle progress more and more before realising what the time was. "Oh! Father i must run, Gate has asked me back to see how their new experiment is progressing! Keep me informed won't you?" She asked, standing on the very tips of her toes and kissing him softly upon his cheek. "See you in a little while!" She said before running off like a small child to a sweet shop.

When Pez arrived she looked for Gate, "Gate?" She called out softly. Her small voice echoing throughout the chamber.

At the moment Gate was in the room with Lymis sitting upright in a chair, staring blankly forward.

Gate: Oh, hello there Pez, I'm glad to report the experiment was a success! He survived, We were just seeing what he could do. Now Lymis, show us what you can do.

Without saying a word, or moving his gaze, his left arm turned into green liquid but remained in the shape of an arm, and then the fingers shaped its tips into claws. At the same time, his right arm turned into green liquid and the entire arm shaped into a giant spike.

Gate: Our main concern was that the acid wouldn't be able to shape into a stabbing weapon and hold its shape when cutting or impaling through a solid object, let's test that. Lymis I want you to destroy the robot opponent I put you against.

Lymis: Alright.

Gate led Pez out of the room and a robot with a humanoid shape came through the door and got into a fighting stance, Lymis stood and sent his spike arm straight through the robot's chest before the robot could even attempt to make a move...the more impressive part was that Lymis had stretched his arm all the way across the room to where the robot was. Lymis now started to walk towards the robot, his arm still impaling its chest. When he got close enough he sent his left arm into the robot's chest next to his right arm and a second later, ten spikes came cutting through the robot's body, sending it in many pieces to the floor.

Gate: Ha! it's a success! Now I just need to get his language skills and train him for combat. This will take a while-

Before Gate coudl say anything else Satan's voice came over Gate's intercom.

Satan: Doctor Gate, could you tell my daughter that the final games are about to begin?

Gate: Of course sir.

Gate turns to Pez

Gate: Well you heard the boss, don't worry Lymis will be here later, he needs alot of work, it seems the acid fried his brain a bit, I'll have to rebuild it, haha.

He said and went back into the room.

Down at the pit arena Satan had front row seats to the fighting stage, the last one hundred souls were already on the stage and the storm demons had just stepped into the ring, they were just awaiting Pez, who's seat was next to her father's of course.

Pez followed Doctor Gate out of the room and watched Lymis in anticipation. His next moves frightened her ever so slightly. His strength and power alone was immense. She gasped and stumbled a few steps away from the viewing window they had been stood at to watch Lymis defeat this robotic opponent. "Gate...." She said in awe, "I....I'm speechless....Can....Can you imagine an entire army of this?" Something then hit her, but before she had a chance to ask Gate, her father's voice echoed over the intercom. "Well Gate....i'm extremely impressed. But i must speak to you after the final battle is over. Is that clear?" She said in an orderly voice before turning on her heel and going back to the arena to her father to watch the last battle.

Pez opened up a portal and flung herself through it before landing in the seat next to her fathers, "Not late am i?" She said with a laugh. "Carry on!" Pez called out to the storm demons. "This should be good," Pez said rubbing her hands together and looking up at her father.

Gate looked at her strangely as she gave her order and nodded.

Gate: Of course, you're my boss's daughter of course you can speak to me anytime you like.

He watched as she left and went back into the room with Lymis, who was sitting in the chair again rubbing his hands, which had returned to normal human looking skin. his clothes were intact also despite having been turned into acid.

Gate: Amazing, your clothes it seem have been bonded with the acid molecules also and are everlasting, this is just astounding.

Lymis: I want a new name...Lymis sounds so...boring.

Gate: Well, let's see, something simple...

"Necro"

A raspy voice whispered into the room. It was a black shadowy figure standing in the corner of the room, he had black spikey hair and a flowing black cape, his other clothes looked like scraps of other black and dark colored clothes just draped over his body.

Gate: Ah, Bantise, this is your new teammate...what was that about Necro though?

Bantise: His name...it can be Necrom since he was made from necrotic acid.

Lymis nodded in approval.

Necro: I want to be called Necro from here on out.

The newly named, "Necro" stood smiling at Bantise and shook his hand.

Necro: Teammate huh? What kind of team are we exactly?

Gate: All will be explained after the final member of the team passes his test...

Down at the arena Satan smiled as Pez arrived.

Satan: No of course not, I love the tension of the souls seeing the storm demons and the crowd's anticipation of the slaughter to come...now then....as my daughter said, LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!

Exer was still a bit drowsy from being sedated, but he was alert nontheless, he felt some kind of power in him like he had never had, his veins were purple and sticking out a bit and his eyes were now purple also. The 100 fresh souls and the 50 storm demons started to do battle and it was nasty, the storm demons quickly mowed through the demon souls like they were grass. The first highlight of the fight came when a storm demon shot a blast of storm elemental breath towards Exer and Exer held his hand out conjuring a ball of shadow energy shooting it at the storm demon's blast. Exer's shadow ball easily went through the storm demon's blast and hit the storm demon in the chest making a very large explosion killing at least 10 souls and 3 storm demons. The entire fight Satan didn't seem to be worried about the outcome of the fight, he began to talk to Pez actually.

Satan: You know Pez...I've been thinking...your brothers are not sane enough to rule this realm...so I had this idea in my head...that you could take over this realm for me.

He said and let his voice trail off among the crowd and the fight noise, letting what he said really sink into her head.

Pez was literally standing on her seat, yelling down at the souls, the storm demons and Exer. She thew her fist in the air and continued to call out in excitement. She was all for Exer. His powers were extreme. He was twice the man her brothers were, even put together. Pez jumped up and down, adrenaline speeding through her devil veins. She went to yell again but caught her tongue as her father spoke to her. She was shocked at how calm he was. By now he was normally really getting into the fight as much as she was. But there was something different about him today. She was about to find out why.

If her heart wasn't pounding enough already, it was about to burst with the news her father had just given her. Pez stood there in silence for a moment and stepped down from her chair to look up at her father, who towered over her something silly. "Daddy....I....." She was speechless. "Dad....Father....." Her eyes were slightly watery and she placed a petite hand upon her chest, "I'm honoured....." She whispered to him. The sounds of the crowds and the sounds of the fight seemed to fade as Pez fell into deep thought, a wide smile upon her face. It was almost as if an extremely handsome, powerful man had proposed to her. Her big autmn red eyes stared up at her father as she drifted in and out of her own world. "I'll be the best ruler of Hell yet father," Pez said, holding back the tears of joy.

By now in the arena, every soul and storm demon was dead save for one: Exer. He was heavily panting and blood soaked as the crowd hailed him and he stared at Satan.

Satan: Well Pez it wont be right away you get to rule it, I still have a few years left, but there's just one problem. You see your brothers are older and first born and so it would be breaking the very laws of hell to make you ruler and not them...so I had to come up with an interesting way of getting rid of them...

He said pointing into the arena, the pit announcer stepped forward as two giant gates opened on one end and two figures could be seen.

Announcer: And now for your viewing pleasure! The winner of the battle royale will now fight...HELL'S VERY OWN CALCIFER AND DAMIEN!

The two devil brothers emerged from the shadows and stood on the opposite end of the arena as Exer, Exer's jaw was gaping and he got extremely nervous.

Exer: This is insane! How am I going to fight not just one but TWO sons of the fucking devil!?

Before he could think the devil brothers were on each side of him and rushed in grabbing each of Exer's arms. The brothers flew Exer into the air and then held him tight as they plummeted Exer head first into the arena tiles from 1000 feet in the air as fast as a jet could go. There was a giant cloud of dust and silence filled the arena. The devil brothers nor Exer could be seen, everyone seemed to be holding their breath in order to figure out what was going on. Gasps suddenly filled the arena, the dust cloud disappeared and the sight that was seen was unimaginable. Exer stood calmly, each of his hands had a sword that seemed to be mad eof some sort of dark energy, and the swords' edges were up agains tthe neck of each devil brother.

Damien: What the hell? No fresh soul could pull this off!

Calcifer: I got a feeling dad set us up a tiny bit...

The two devil brothers each conjured their own weapons and a blur of metal was all that was seen after that. No matter what they did or how fast or hard they swung their weapons, Exer always managed to be faster and stronger than both Damien and Calcifer, they couldn't get one hit on him. Suddenly Exer saw his chance and cut Damien on the foot making him go to one knee in pain, Exer's hand shot forward and went into Damien's chest and grabbed his heart ripping it out. Exer swung his swords in a fan motion and threw the ripped out heart into them and make a thick spray of blood shoot for Calcifer. Calcifer held his hands and weapons up in front of his face to shield him from the spray, but when he looked forward Exer wasn't there. But it was all over before Calcifer even knew anything happened to him. Both Exer's shadow blades pierced Calcifer threw the chest on either side of his heart, Exer grabbed Calcifer's own blade and pierced the devil's chest a third time, and finally Exer used Damien's weapon to make a square shape of blades into Calcifer's chest. Calcifer's body fell over forward lifeless and soulless and Exer was the hero of the arena. the crowd was at first shocked but cheered his unique killing ways and the announcer came and held his arm up for everyone declairing him the victor.

Satan: Well I guess that means that you're next in line for the throne since your brothers forfeited.

Satan said standing and kissing Pez on the forehead.

Satan: Grab Exer and meet me in the throne room will you? It's time to reveal some mysteries.

He said before walking out of the arena.

Pez nodded as her father explained about how she wouldn't be able to sit upon his throne for a few more years yet. Then he told her about the vital rule of her brothers being first born. An evil smirked wiped across her lips as she heard both her brothers' names being called out by the commentator. "Oh my...." She said with a dirty grin, rubbing her hands together greedily. "You're too smart for your own good sometimes father. You know that?" She said with that same smile.

Pez turned to watch the fight commence. Her jaw dropping as she watched both her brothers and Exer plummet into the ground, the arena tiles flying everywhere and filling the stadium with dust. Silence fell throughout the arena which then followed by thousands of gasps. Exer was alright! It seemed that Pez was the first to scream and cheer about Exer's success. What was even more exhillerating was the total success of Exer. He had defeated thousands of souls, storm demons AND her two older brothers. Pez jumped up and down screaming out of control until she was as red as her hair.

Once she had calmed down, Pez made her way to the arena where Exer was still standing. She gently touched his arm, "Exer," She said softly, "We haven't met. I'm Pez. I'm Satan's daughter...belive it or not," She said with a nervous laugh. "Please, do follow me Exer. I feel there is something extremely good in store for you and i!" She said grabbing his hand and leading him towards her father's throne room.

Pez's heart was pounding. She felt Exer's rough hands upon her warm, soft ones. So many thoughts were rushing through her head as she kept a tight grip upon the successor. Once they were at the large double marble doors to the throne room. Pez let go of Exer's hand and took a deep breath. She pushed the doors open and stepped in slowly. "Father...We have arrived," Pez stated.

Everything had happened so quickly that Exer was at a loss for words, as Pez introduced herself he could only stare at her with a cocked head and when she ran him away with her he stammered at his words.

Exer: But I...shouldn't we...?

After the run to the throne room he bent over to catch his breath and looked over at Pez with a gentle smile.

Exer: Um...thanks. I heard you cheering for me-

Before he could finish his sentence he noticed the four other people in the room. There was Gate standing next to Satan, and Bantise and Necro were standing further out towards Exer and Pez.

Exer: So is someone gonna tell me what this is all about? I know those arena games were rigged some how.

Satan: Well the idea was mine...but the actual part of it working was the genius of Doctor Gate here. You three are genetically engineered warriors each with one or more special powers that make you almost unbeatable in combat. Bantise here was the first experimental soldier. He was once just a demon guard and Gate engineered shadow energy into his blood and thus Bantise became a shadow demon, a special kind of demon that can sneek around better than any ninja and travel through the shadows instantaneously. Necro was the second, Gate bonded necrotic acid into his DNA and now Necro can stretch and bend and shape his body into viturally any shape, mostly spikes and stabbing/cutting weapons. He can also regenerate any part of his body including his head within several seconds. You were the last piece of the puzzle Exer. I saw that you draw your power from some unknown force within and I had Dr.Gate bond your DNA...with devil's blood. So now you are part devil like myself and my daughter.

Exer looked at himself and flexed his arms and fingers.

Exer: I did feel different after they gave me that shot in the neck...

Satan approached Exer now and presented him with a long wooden box, opening it to reveal a long katana sword.

Satan: The other two are able to shape their hands and arms into weapons, so I thought I'd give you your very own, this is much better than those shadow blades you summoned against my sons...

Exer took the sword and marveled at it, it surged with purple electricity when he picked it up as if it were made for him.

Satan: It once belonged to a great devil warrior but he has long since gone from hell, off into the mortal world to pursue other things...

Exer: Thank you...so what exactly did you create us for?

Necro: Yes, I would like to know that myself also.

Bantise and Necro moved next to Exer and they stood side by side facing Satan, a team of experiments.

Satan: You are my special team of hell soldiers...you will deal with Earth affairs, very secret and special Earth affairs. I will give you your first misson tomorow, I want you all to get some rest and let your body get used to their new energies...

The team gave a bow to Satan and exited the room, but Exer stayed on the outside of the door waiting for something. Gate walked up to Pez after the team had exited the room.

Gate: I believe you wanted to speak with me about something?

Gate's robotic eye scanned around and saw that Exer was waiting outside the throne room door.

Gate: Make it quick though, it seems someone has taken a liking to you...He's only been a devil for less than a day and already he's drawn to you...marvelous...

Pez moved and stood next to her father so she could watch him address his new "army". She stood there, tall and proud. As a devil should be. Her hands were folded across her chest and her legs were at ease. Pez seemed to drift off into her own world as her father addressed his men. She was thinking about taking over hell. The power she would have just on her own. She needed someone to be at her side. Pez thought that she wouldn't be able to do all of this on her own. She needed a right hand man.

Before she had even noticed, everyone apart from Gate had vacated the room. Pez shook her head and smiled at him, "Ah yes...Gate...." She ran her fingers through her hair, "So i was thinking....what happens if these experiments go wrong? What happens if their DNA somehow mutates into something more than even myself or my father can handle...what happens then?" She asked. Maybe she was simply being paranoid. But the caution and worry was always going to be there. Pez then smiled knowing that Exer was stood outside, "Anyways Gate, it seems i have someone waiting for me," She smirked before saluting Gate and turning on her heel to go and greet Exer.

Pez gently touched him on the shoulder, "Exer...your performance today was...somewhat....astounding? I was really impressed! And it honestly takes alot to impress me!" She smiled warmly at him.

Gate looked a bit shocked by her concerns.

Gate: Well you don't have to worry about that really, see in an afterlife realm we do have blood and everything that a mortal would have, but our blood and organs and what not work a bit differently than a mortal's. Your fears are just you being nervous I assure you, there is nothing to fear. Silly girl.

He said placing his hand on her head and ruffling her hair, then he nodded and bowed as she left. Gate looked back at Satan and walked his way.

Gate: So...what do you think?

Satan: I think them...I like them very much, you did a marvelous job Doctor.

Gate:...Have you told anyone but me the truth about Exer? Your daughter and he might just turn out to be very good "friends" it seems.

Satan: I havn't told anyone and will not tell anyone, and you know what happens if you do tell anyone, is tha clear?

Gate: Always sir...anyways I'll be int he lab if you need me. I take my leave now.

Satan: Got another experiment Gate?

Gate: Well since the success with Necro, we are trying to make another like him, with similar but different powers, since he survived the procedure we are searching hell for a soul that is related to him, we think he has a brother. We figure if he survived, anyone strongly related to him will too.

Satan: Just don't over do yourself Gate.

Gate: Haha, that sir, is impossible.

Exer smiled and bowed as Pez came out and greeted him.

Exer: Well I'm flattered that you enjoyed it...truthfully being put into an arena and fighting to stay alive isn't what I call a good time...there was something that urged me to stay alive no matter what...something in my head...like a shattered faded memory...

He said staring blankly as a distorted image came into his head. He shook it away and looked at the red headed devil in front of him.

Exer: Well while I'm down here I might as well get to know the kingdom I'm going to serve, would you give me a tour? I might just become your royal guard one day anyway.

Pez smiled to Exer and placed a small pale hand upon his cheek, "None of that matters now Exer. It seems that my father has taken an enormous liking to you. It is very rare that he takes an interest in souls that come through the gates of hell. But there is something about you that's got his mind ticking." She smiled and looked into Exer's eyes, "Staying alive down here is as good as it gets. As long as you don't get on the wrong side of my father, myself or my father's 'right hand men' so to speak, you've got nothing to worry about," She took Exer's hand and lead him down the corridoor. "There are some places in hell that are strictly out of boundss to anyone and everyone. Entering these restricted zones are punishable by banishment." She paused, "You DON'T want to do that. Belive me..." Pez was silent for a minute or two and then continued walking, "So down here we have my father's office, obviously the throne room and a few other rooms which even i don't know about! Some of these rooms are off limits to eveyrone but my father and Doctor Gate. I don't know why so don't ask!"

Pez looked to Exer for a moment before continuing. They were now ascending a large marble staircase. "Up here are the bedrooms and many other rooms which we can explore later." They walked down to the end of the corridoor and stopped at a room on the left, "This is my room. You are to knock before entering. Three doors down from my room is my father's. This room is out of bounds. Any questions so far?" Pez asked before continuing on their way.

Pez spent the most part of the evening showing Exer around and by nightfall Pez was getting quite tired, "Well Exer. You've seen the entire of Hell now. Feel at home yet?" She asked with a smile. She sat down on a bench on a hill that overlooked the entire of the Hell empire. Pez looked up to Exer and patted the spot next to her.

During the entire tour Exer gave simple yes or no answers, he was in sort of a trance, he didn't really care about hell, he just wanted to spend more time with Pez. Whether he had taken a liking to her or whether he felt she was the key to unlocking his mysterious shattered memory, the memory that had kept his him and growing stronger, he didn't know. Exer looked at the spot next to her and sat staring at the sky of hell.

Exer: I'll tell you why he likes me: Because my power grows steadily moment after moment, I can feel it in me...

He looks down at his hands and he flexes his fingers and moves his wrists around.

Exer: It's not the devil blood they put in me either...it's...something else. I've been having these strange images in my head lately, a man watching another being dragged into the ground by a hideous monster, then it goes to static and blankness.

He says holding his head.

Exer: Something in me seems to think that you are the answer to my question though.

He was silent for some time then spoke once more.

Exer: So what qualities does the man that is to marry the infamous Pez, daughter of Satan, have to have? Just to change the subject a bit, haha.

Pez looked to Exer as he spoke. She did feel sorry for him. The words he spoke had a sad story behind them. She could see this. Pez wanted to do the best she could to help him retrive a lost memory that was bothering Exer so. She placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled softly, "Don't worry Exer. I'll help you find what you're looking for," She sighed softly and looked out to hell.

"What do i look for in a husband?" Pez replied, "Hmm....well he needs to prove himself to me i suppose. He needs a strong hand but a loving heart. He needs to know what he wants and what he likes..." Pez trailed off as she begun to picture a handsome man in her mind. The image quickly formed into Exer. Her eyes sprung open and she looked to Exer. "Were you married up on earth?" Pez asked, "Was there a special Mrs. Exer?" She said with a small smile, "Do you remember anything about your human life?" Pez was quite an inquisitive woman. Sometimes too inquisitive for her own good.

Exer looked at her then at the ground and finally back at her.

Exer: I...um...I don't know, I don't think so, I don't have a wedding ring on so I wouldn't guess so. If I did would you be jealous? Hehe.

He said joking with her.

Exer: You know...when I'm with you, I feel this...connection, between myself and you...it feels funny...

He said as his hand moved over hers and rubbed it gently.

Exer: It's like I'm a magnet and you're metal, even at moments when you would least expect to think of someone special, I find myself with you on my mind...you don't find this uncomfortable do you?

Gate entered the throne room to find Satan signing many documents for some demonic diplomats in front of him.

Satan: Ah, Doctor, do you have news for me?

Gate: Yes indeed, we found the soul we were looking for, his name is Raydor.

Satan: Was he able to with stand the experiment?

Gate: We havn't begun yet, I'm having my lackies go search for some soul mist.

Satan: Haha, thinking of having a demon made of the wind are you?

Gate:...if it works, he'll be three times as powerful as his brother...maybe even put your favorite out of business...

Satan stares at Gate for the longest time with a concerned look on his face then goes back to signing his documents.

Satan: Gate don't over do yourself, the team you've created for me is power enough, we don't want any out of control "pets" now do we?

Pez giggled and gently shoved him, "I'm the princess of darkness Exer! I've got nothing to be jealous about!" She giggled then smiled warmly as she felt Exer's hand run over hers. She could feel this warm sensation as his hand moved over hers. She closed her eyes for a moment and all she could visualise was this warm glowing orange colour. Like warm flames. And in those flames was Pez and Exer, holding each other. When Exer had stopped talking she opened up her eyes and shook her head, "Hm? Oh! No i don't find this uncomfortable in the least!" She sighed softly, her eyes looking to the ground for a moment, "It's been a long while since i've had decent male company. There used to be this guy...well there still is....he wants me...i'm not too sure what for...marriage...sex....title....but all i know is is that he's nothing but bad news." She looked up to Exer then smiled at him, "But he's a maggot. He can be easily disposed of!" She laughed, "Besides...i like you! I can feel the connection between us Exer. I've never felt this close to anyone else before...in the thousands of years i've been here...no one has come remotely close! But you...." She paused," ....You're something different Exer. I don't know what it is." She smiled and held his hand. "I think this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship," She said.

As Pez was talking, Exer felt this powerful force within him being drawn to Pez even though they were sitting side by side. Suddenly he flung himself onto Pez, making her back hit the bench and began to kiss her as if he was dehydrated and the last bit of water in the universe was in her mouth. He sat up and stood quickly, look startled, but it wasn't from the kiss, in fact he wasn't even looking at Pez.

Exer: No.....it can't be....NOOOOOO!

He clutched his head and an explosion of images happened in his head, One moment they would be about Pez, the next the images were filling in the blanks in his memory, showing his entire human life including his brother being dragged into the ground and him shooting himself. Exer's hands were over his face, his veins in his arms were showing, it was clear he was very angry. When his hands were off his face his eyes were purple, purple eyes were traits of a devil. Exer looked at Pez and then to the palace in the distance.

Exer: If any harm or misfortune should come to you for what I am about to do...I am deeply sorry.

He said and ran as fast as he could to the palace. A voice was heard from the shadows, A figure fully made of black and darkness steps forth and begins to materialise, it was Bantise.

Bantise: You'd better go get him...his memory has returned...he's very angry with your father...

Pez was startled as Exer jumped onto her and started kissing her, screaming as they both fell back from the bench. She placed her hands on his shoulders and pushed him off her as he stood up. She could see that Exer was startled about something but she wasn't sure what. Pez stood up and dusted herself off. She frowned at what Exer then said, "But...." She paused and glared at him, "What are you going to do Exer?" She cried out, "EXER COME BACK!" Her voice bellowed, echoing into hell's night. A voice from the shadows then startled her, "Bantise!" She said jumping slightly, "I do wish you wouldn't keep doing that to me!" She said as he spoke to her. "Well don't just stand there! Let's go and get him back!" She growled, creating a portal and launching herself through it to resuce her father before any harm could come to him. As the portal opened up in the place, Pez fell through," FATHER!!!!" Pez cried out. Her voice streaming through the palace, "FATHER! YOU'RE IN GRAVE DANGER!" She yelled. Her heart was racing and she could feel anger surging through her veins.

Just as Pez arrived in the throne room where Satan was, Bantise had just leaned away from Satan's ear, appearantly having just told him something. The ruler of hell looked up at his daughter than to the doors of the room, heavy footsteps could be heard outside the door.

Satan: So it seems...

Suddenly the doors of the room were blown down and Exer stood in the doorway with his sword drawna nd the tip pointed at Satan himself.

Exer: YOU! why didn't you tell me!?

Satan: I needed your head clear to be on my team.

Exer: Tell me where he is!

Satan: Will you attempt to kill me if I don't?

Exer: I'll certainly try! I killed your two sons, maybe I'll just kill everyone in the palace until you do tell me.

Satan: When your brother Slantis was taken down here, I offered him a deal, I tld him that for his misfortune of being dragged down here before his time I would grant him unimaginable power...he accepted my offer before I had a chance to tell him the conditions of my deal, he insisted I give him his "reward" immediately. So I took one of my horns and infused the energies in it into Slantis's body, making him the first of his kind, a new dmeonic entity called a "Hellhorn". When he found out he'd have to serve me, he used his new power to blind me and escape from hell...that is all I know.

Bantise looked around confused, Gate and Necro were behind Satan and they looked confused also, Satan had told no one of his dealings with Exer's brother Slantis.

Exer: Fine, then that's all I need from you...I'm going to find him.

Exer thrust his arm out and cast a portal for himself.

Satan: If you leave...I'll have every soul in this realm hunting your head...and I wont take you back if you are not successful in finding him...

Exer: As my brother probably told you...fuck off.

Exer walked towards the portal he had made and then stopped, looking at Pez.

Exer: I'm sorry...he's my brother, I have to do this.

He whispered and then he was gone. Satan sat down on his chair and put his face in his hands then sighed.

Satan:.............Bantise.

Bantise: M' lord?

Satan: Go find Necro and inform him of what has happened...then the both of you are to go to Earth and track Exer down...

Bantise:...And when we find him?

Satan: Destroy his body, and his soul, and anything that would let him even exist.

Bantise hesitated a moment then soluted and slithered away into a shadow. The room was silent, Gate didn't know what to say, he felt almost betrayed that Satan didn't tell him about Slantis, Gate thought to himself that Slantis the hellhorn would have made a good project for his lab.

Satan: Pez my dear darling daughter, I'm sorry to had to bear witness to this...tragedy.
