The Begining Empty The Begining

Post by questor Fri Oct 11, 2013 4:34 pm

Cain sat on his throne thinking. Thinking of the past, the long years since he had been banished from his mother and father's home. About him were the representatives of a number of tribes that his soldiers had discovered and brought to his city of Enoch. They would be made a part of his ever growing kingdom. He would show God, that he was better then him, by making all humans worship him instead of god."

He had been the first born of Adam and Eve. He had been born on a night that a star fell from the sky and landed near their home. He had been told from the moment he could understand things that God had made his mother and father and that they had sinned and had been thrown out of Eden. Eden, a beautiful garden that one never wanted for food or drink. He became a farmer, growing food for his family while his brother tended the flock of sheep. He was the oldest and one day when their father would die he would inherit all that he owned. This had made his brother jelious and Able tried to kill him because of it. He defended himself and in the end killed his brother. God had asked where his brother was and that made Cain think. If God was all knowing he would have known what had happened. When Cain's father found the body of Able he became angry and threw Cain out. God had sided with his father on the matter and this made Cain very angry.

He wandered a long time and then one day he came upon another tribe of humans. This he found strange since he had been told that God had only made Adam and Eve his father and mother and then there was Able and himself. Here again the almighty god he had been told about and feared had lied. Here he took a wife and had three children by her.

As the years went by, he did not age, but she did as did his children. Soon they and those that he had first met died leaving their offspring to grow old and die again with out him aging. The decendents now looked upon him as some sort of god and worshiped him and did as he commanded. Then one day he became thirsty, but not for water. Pain coursed through his body as two of his teeth extended to form fangs. A red haze enveloped his mind and the next think he knew he was sinking his teeth into the neck of a man and drinking his blood. The red haze lifted, the pain faded and the fangs retracted back.

Here he felt that he had been cursed by the god of his father and he swore revenge. He sent out members of his tribe to search for other tribes and when they found them, brought them back to him. Soon he had several tribes living in the same area and he had them build his city, which he named after his long dead first son, Enoch.

But even this did not make him happy, for the people constantly died. Then he began experimenting with those that he drank blood from and finally was able to create more like him. He created four more like himself, three male and one female. These four he called his children and their names were Anubis, Ra, Set, and Akasha. He was the first Vampire and they the first generation of them.

Anubis was his general, that commanded the army he had formed to control the ever growing kingdom. Ra and Set he had governing areas that had several tribes each. Akasha was beautiful, seductive and always trying to please her father to be the favorite of them all. Anubis fell in love with her and desired her, but she barely noticed him as she paid more attention to their father.

Each of the four like their father created others like them that were loyal to them and to Cain. These formed the core of the nobility and military leaders.

The Begining Tealblueprincess

Rain Night-Blade has lived in the city of Enoch since she was born. She went to worship Lord Cain three times a day like she required to. She never asks the great lord or his children for anything just that he remain strong and prosper. Other people asked for help with their crops or something else they need. She would return to her small farm and do all the work to keep the farm going since her brother became crippled in an accident.

She goes to the castle to worship Lord Cain. This time she kept herself hidden because a terrible lashing she got from one of the nobles for standing up for her brother. She bows low as it is her turn to pay respect to Lord Cain. “Great Lord Cain remain strong and prosper.” She keeps low waiting for him to dismiss her as he has always done. Her back and arms bleeding heavily.

Cain sat on his throne and looked out over his court. His four childeren were there as were a number of their creations. There were also humans that held important posts and a number of humans that worshiped him. Everything was as it should have been, until he smelled fresh blood. The whole room seemed to turn towards a human woman that was kneeling.

Cain leaned forward on his throne and looked down at the woman. He signaled a couple of guards to bring her before him. He rose from the throne and a hush fell over the entire court. He walked down the three steps to the main floor and walked around the woman. Then he moved infront of her and lifted her head up to look at him. "Explain." was all he said to her.

Rain was about to go. The pain in her body was growing too much for her. Then Lord Cain moved in front of her and lifted her head up to look at him. He never moved from his throne…Never. "Explain." was all he said to her. She was unable to look away from him. It took her a moment to gather the courage to speak “The human noble who my family rents from was beating on my crippled brother for the hell of it. I punched him to defend my brother. He gave me fifty lashings and tripled my rent. I did not have time to bind my wounds before we had to come here for worship. Please forgive me for the blood. I did not mean to offend you.” She quickly bows her head. “Please forgive me.” The humans glared at her as she stayed there bowed.

Cain looked around the throne room. First to his four children. The look of displeasure was upon his face and in his eyes as he looked at them. He then looked at their creations again with displeasure. They knew he did not like to have the human nobles thinking they were as good as them. Their job was to control the humans and report any sign of rebellion to the Vampire Lord over them. Any punishment was to be the Vampire Lord's decision.

But this human was a devout worshiper of him. Even bloody and in pain she came to worship him. A true devotee and she had been whipped by a human noble. "Stand." he commanded her and then he vanished from where he had been standing and reappeared by a human, dressed in noble clothing, his hand at the mans throat. With an effortless fling of his arm, he tossed the human noble into the center of the room and then slowly walked towards him. As he walked he raised an arm and pointed to a Vampire Lord, one of Akasha's creations.

"Was it your order." he asked the vampire lord

The Vampire was guick to his knees and his head bowed. "No my Lord, I gave not such order.

"You lack control over the humans you rule. You therefore are stripped of your rank and are now but a common soldier. Be grateful I do not have you destroyed." Then he turned to the human noble who was on his knees, his body shaking with fear. "By what right do you whip a subject of mine?" he questioned.

"My Lord, she protects a cripple. One that can not contribute to your great and wonderous kingdom." the human spoke, fear in his voice as he tried to explain.

Cain closed his eyes. "Remove this offensive human from my sight. He is to be beheaded and his head put on a spike at the gate of the city. Take the girl to my physicians. Clean her and treat her wounds then bring her to me." he then walked up to his throne and sat down again. Two vampire guards took Rain by the arms and guided her out of the room.

Rain stood up with great struggle as moving caused her great pain. She looked at the noble who tried to put the blame on her brother. "My brother only became a cripple because you and your men beat him nearly to death. My brother is still devoted to Lord Cain. He just cannot travel here to give his praise in person. He gives praise at our shrine to Lord Cain in our home." She follows the vampire guards doing her best not bleed all over the floor.

A slave was sent ahead to notify the physicians and when Rain was brought forth to them, they were ready. "Strip her of the bloody clothes he told the guards and they immediately removed Rain's clothing. One moved behind her and looked at the damage the whip had done. "Yes not to bad but if not treated immediately with Cain's own blood, there will be scaring."

The second one moved around her looking her over and smiling. "A pretty one, well endowed and shapely, Lord Cain will be very pleased, I think." The first went to a chest and with drew a ceramic jar and brought it forth. Taking a cloth he opened the jar and dipped the cloth in it. When he with drew it it was coated in blood.

"Now hold still." he told Rain as he began applying the blood. "This is Lord Cain's own blood. It heals wounds faster then any other vampire, be it human, vampire or even Anubis' lycans." The blood felt warm and as soon as it was applied it was assorbed into the skin and the wounds knitted together and soon the skin was smooth and showed no sign of scaring.

A slave entered carrying a black dress that was immediately put on Rain. It had a plunging neck line to the navel to show of her tits and was down to her ankle on the left side and came up to the hip baring the right leg. Again the two physicians looked her over and nodded as they smiled. They waved a hand to the guards and they again gently took her by the arms to lead her out, back to the throne room which was no empty. Except for Akasha who lingered in the shadows of the next room.

On the throne Cain still sat, leaning back some his head resting on one hand balled into a fist. He watched as the guards brought Raven back in. "How do you feel?" he asked her.

Rain felt very uncomfortable the whole time but she did as the strange doctors told her. She however covered herself in the dress. She walks in the throne room and says, "I feel a lot better but I don't feel comfortable in this dress. It is not something that I would wear. And they ripped up my other dress." She felt very uncomfortable as everyone knew Akasha had a sing for the Master. She says to him, "I thank you for your help. I think it would be best for me to go. Your children probably want your attention. I will not keep you from your duties." She finds her cloak that she had to take off earlier before she could enter the hall to give her worship to the Lord Cain. She used the cloak to cover herself properly and give a proper bow to give him respect. She sees Akasha hiding in the darkness and says to her as she passes that room, "I will not take your Master from you."

Two vampire guards bar her way as she leaves the throne room and speaks to Akasha. Akasha does not look upon her with a smile or a friendly look. There is jeliousy in her eyes and her look is one that said she wanted to kill Rain. Cain did not give his personal attention to just anyone. Akasha knew that the human woman had sparked something with in her creator.

From the throne room came Cain's voice. "You have not yet been dismissed. Return here for I wish to talk with you." Again Akasha looked at Rain with a look of hate and a desire to kill. But she could not touch the human or the wrath of Cain would be terrible indeed. Even she would not dare to incur his wrath. Akasha turned and walked away. Slaves, vampires and lycan alike moved quickly away from her path.

Rain returned to Lord Cain and says, "I know my lord. But now you have made me an enemy of your daughter Akasha." She looks at her Lord and says with a bow, "My Lord I don't think it is appropriate for us to be speaking. I am a mere servant we must not be seen together. It is very easy to start rumors. I am very grateful for you helping me but now I will have to get home. It takes me eight hours to get home and I still have to do the plowing to our field. I am the only one able to tend to our farm." She remains bowed before him. She felt sorry for Akasha. She was trying to behave in respect of Akasha and her feelings for her master.

Cain gave a very rare smile when Rain had said she seemed to have angered Akasha. "Let them talk and speculate on what is happening. As for Akasha, she must learn that I am the master and she is the one that decides things that concern me." Again he rose from the throne and walked down to her. He looked down at her lovely charms. "Inform these two guards where to find your brother. They will bring him here and as for your farm they will find those that will tend to it. "

He placed a hand on the small of her back and guided her to a garden off the Throne Room. "As for the dress, this is how I like to see women, and is that of a noble woman which you now have been elevated to." Cain had many lovers. There had yet to be one that he felt was there for him and not the power and the position such a relationship brought. He looked down at Rain, perhaps she was the one. He would see.

Rain followed him out to the garden but instantly stopped as he said that she had been brought up to the status of a noble. "My lord I am very flattered by this but I do not wish to be a noble of any sort. Therefore I cannot accept it. I am a humble servant who will always look up to your greatness but I'd rather stay a mere servant." Her words ring deep with genuine honesty and sincerity. She was not like other women who only went after men for power.

The garden was beautiful but it has sort of power of its own to it. Like there was something living deep within it giving its own strange aura of strength. "And honestly my lord I like working my own fields. Bringing life to them with my hard work and devotion. There is nothing like it. As a noble, I would grow bored and fat. That is no life to live. Being a servant may be of lower class but we know at least we can get a job done and have some value in our lives because of our hard work."

She looks up at him and smiles. "You worked hard to build this city the way you wanted it. You would have not passed it off to someone else to do. You made sure the job got done right. That is no different than what I want to do with my farm. As a noble, I would lose sight of that."

He was begining to like this human more and more. She was one that did not want power but only to serve. "Ah but you will still be a humble servant. Human nobles are that but have others working for them. If you desire to work the land then there are a number of places close to the city that could use such attention, and still you will be a noble woman, with others to command and help you." he guided her about the garden, stopping now and then to look at a grouping of flowers.

"Also I have a feeling that you would not grow fat and lazy." He stopped and raised her head up to look at him again. "I can see that in your eyes and......" he moved a hand down to one of hers and felt the calaus. "as well as your hands. He summoned two more guards, "Escort Laidy Rain here to her palace with in the city, the one of the late Lord........Aldrich, I beleive was his name. He looked at Rain for confirmation of the name of the noble that had her lashed. He then told her. "Your brother will be brought there and when he is feeling up to it I would like to see him."

Rain did not know how to respond to any of this. She had never heard the Lord talk this much in her life. He was being persistent and he clearly wanted her to do this. She gave in and with a slight nod. "If this is what you want me to do my lord, then I will do it. I am happy to help you with whatever you need."

She gave a slight nod when he said the name of the Lord that hurt her. "I thank you for helping me and my brother. I am sure he will want to see you as soon as he is able. Feel free to summon me if you ever need something from me." She gives him a respectful bow before leaving with the guards. But before they went to the castle he had them help her achieve her brother and her things.

Her brother Nate was very badly hurt. He still had deep wounds all over his body from the beating he received. Both his legs had to be amputated. He also had gone blind in one eye due to the damage from the beating. With the help of the guards she was able to get him inside the castle and start working on getting the castle to her liking.

For a few weeks, she spent time repairing the land from the previous owner's abuse. But soon she had it blossoming with life and plants again. Even the servants seem to come back to life thanks to Rain. Then Rain and Nate both came to the evening worship to thank Lord Cain. Nate had to use a wheelchair to get around but he was adjusting. They say in union, "Stay strong and prosper Lord Cain."

Akasha was in a rage. She threw pottery, chairs and more everywhere in her chambers at the royal castle. No one dared go near her for fear of being torn apart. "He favors a human female!" she screamed. "Over me!" When Akasha got mad, no one and nothing was safe. There was but one that could calm her down, besides Cain.

He stood in the door way looking at her shaking his head. "She is but a human and an infatuation." he spoke softly. "She will be forgotten in a week I am sure of it. Akasha's dark eyes turned to Anubis and she gritted her teeth. Anubis was handsome and well muscled. Any woman would have been happy at any attention he would give her.

Akasha stood straighter in his presence her lovely tits almost falling out of the halter top like upper garment. Her stomach and legs were bare of clothing and only had a piece of cloth in front and back, that feel to her knees, to cover her ass and womanhood, They were attached to a copper chain belt She was beautiful with long raven black hair and her skin tanned by the sun. She calmed and she approached Anubis, running a hand lightly over his chest and shoulders "You are probably right. But if not she will not live much longer." There was venom in her voice.

At the palace that was no Rain, the slaves there ran out to the front court yard to greet their new master. They knelt on the ground their heads touching the ground. One knelt on the top step of the entrance to the palace. He spoke. "Mistress, I am Maltoc the head slave and your humble slave. Word has come swiftly from the palace on the fate of our former master and that you now own this palace and us. We will serve you dilligently." The two vampire soldiers left as soon as they had reached the entrance to the courtyard. If one looked they could see the slaves risking peeks at their new master.

As the weeks passed, Cain checked on her through his spies. She seemed to be enjoying her new life and was helping make the land she owned now, prosper. Being a King and a God was not an easy task as some may think. He had to travel to the outlying villages to ensure that his subjects saw him and make examples of some that were not quite willing to bow and worship him. This way he instilled fear into them which helped to keep the general population in check.

When Rain and her brother came to court Cain looked down at them. Her brother had to be carried in on a chair since he had no legs below the knee. "Rise Rain and come sit her beside my throne. He pointed to Nate and two guards approached and picked him up and carried him to the throne and sat him down on the left hand side of it. Cain looked down at Nate. "So you are Rains brother." he gave a slight smile. "It seems we will have to take care of this." he nodded to Nate's legs. "We cannot have the brother of a noble lady looking like this." He turned to her and said, "If that would be your wish."

The Begining Empty Re: The Begining

Nate and Rain looked at each other bit shocked as he said that he could repair Nate’s legs. Rain sits beside his throne and asks, “My lord you have the power to restore lost limbs?” Nate keeps his head bowed as he clutches a few things in his arms. He says nervously, “My lord as wonderful as that sounds, I don’t think you should waste your power on someone as unworthy as me.” Rain says, “My brother and I do not really care what others think. However he has gone blind in his left eye because of the beating. Is it possible you could repair that? I worry he may hurt himself.”

He unwraps the items in his arms trying to be careful while saying, “While exploring our new home, I came across these weapons that had your symbol on them. They were on your list of stolen items from three years ago that you announced you wanted found no matter what.” He holds out one of the swords out to Lord Cain, “When I found these weapons, Lord Aldwin had them smashed in half. I did my best to repair and restore them. I hope they are to your liking.”

The sword did look brand new but you could tell it was a sword only Lord Cain would have. The sword’s blade shined brightly as Nate had repaired it with a finer metal that was a bit thicker and steadier than the original. He had put gems in the handle to add to its glory. His hands were burnt from working the metal but his eye shined with pride in his work. “This was the only way I could think of to show my thanks and my devotion. I am not very good with words.”

Cain raised a brow at their conversation. Still it was not clear to them what his blood could do. But it was only his blood that seemed to be able to heal wounds of others and restore limbs if he so desired. His children and theirs could only heal themselves but not others. Well he had not tried his childrens blood and he did not think they had either.

On the rare occasion, Cain would work his miraciale on some one, in front of those that were new to his kingdom, as such was the day at hand. The throne room was filled with the leaders of several new tribes that had been located and defeated. He signaled one of his physicians and he was handed a small cup of his blood, no more then a couple ounces.

"Drink." he told Nate. The results were rapid as his legs lengthened and then formed his lower legs and then his feet. Even his eye was renewed and the deep scar now only a thin white line above and below his eye. The new comer's eyes were wide with amazement and one of court speakers called out, "Behold the power of Cain your lord and master."

Cain put a hand on Nate's shoulder as he took the sword and examined it. He then returned it to its sheath and slid the belt of the scabard over Nate's shoulder. "A fine weapon and fine work. You keep this and protect your sister."

Even the vampire lords and ladies present gasped at such a jesture. Humans were not allowed weapons. Only the lycans and vampire soldiers were allowed such things. He then turned and smiled at Rain. All could see that he indeed was favoring the human female.

Anubis stood beside Akasha a hand on her shoulder. The rage and hate towards Rain could be seen in her eyes even though she smiled and made if she was calm and emotionless.

Rain watches as Lord Cain’s blood regenerated Nate’s legs and eye. He was truly a god. She bows her head and body quickly giving her thanks as he brother stood on his new legs. He kneels before him and says, “My lord I know my station in your city has always been a farmer. Rain is a natural at it bring things to life and healing the Earth. But I can’t…I get flustered too easily. The only thing I am good at is creating weapons and other things. I am hoping you would allow me to continue to be a blacksmith.”

Rain looked at the crowd knowing this looked bad. She knew the lord had many lovers and she also knew that he needed blood to survive. She was one of his offerings when she was just a child. Her father wanted to give her to the lord to gain favor with him. It was the perfect way to get rid of the child he did not want. Cain had bitten her to feed and then let her go. She doubted that Cain even remembered that. She had been six at the time. She still had the mark on her neck but she hid it well.

Cain loved to see the confusion and awe his decisions caused. Nates request was a simple one and he could see no reason that the young man should not do what he was good at. "So be it. At your sister's place on the farm land she has you will set up your blacksmith trade. You will make weapons for my army."

He reached a hand over and stroked Rains hair. He looked down at those in his court seeing the confused looks on their faces. He was favoring a human female and her brother. Though he never seem to hold humans in contempt, he had never really favored any like he was now. The humans saw it as a sign that he was a benevolent leader and god. The vampires wondered why he was doing this, Akasha in particular.

Can laughed inside his head. They had once been human and because of him, creating his children and they them, they were now immortal and more powerful. It seemed they had forgotten that.

He took care of the daily business, mainly disputes about who owned what or other personal disputes that needed a third party. Some matters he ruled with a humane touch, others he was hard and to some maybe he seemed cruel. Several disputes were settled by the sword in a small arena near the castle.

"What do you think of these rulings?" he asked Rain. "Do you think I was to harsh on those vampire lords? The truth."

Nate thanked him and returned to the castle once he was no longer required to stay. He wanted to prove his worth as a blacksmith. Rain remained by Cain’s side out of choice. She felt his touch on her hair and did not even jump. She observed his duties to the humans and the vampire lords. When he asked her of her opinion, she was a bit surprised. She says, “Well my lord. You are like a father to your many children of this city. As a father, you must know when it is time to be gentle and when to be stern. That is very hard to do when your children are divided by races. Your vampire children have many of your gifts. With that, your children must be able to control themselves. They easily can forget that they were once human and let power go to their head. Therefore you must be stern to keep them in line but kind enough to understand why they made a mistake and then pass punishment accordingly. Your human children are really no different. We are at the mercy of each other, nature, sickness, and even your vampire children. Power to some is the only way to have some control. With that, showing kindness is a way to show that not everyone in power is cruel. You must be stern to keep them in line but kind enough to understand why they made a mistake and then pass punishment accordingly just as with your vampire children.”

Cain leaned back against the back of the throne and listened. Her words were wise and to the point. Not only lovely, with deliecious charms, and completely devoted to him, she was also inteligent and wise in many ways others were not.

He looked at his advisors who had briefed him on most of the cases he had been presented with. Their advice had been completely different and he began to wonder why he kept them around. He then looked at Akasha standing next to Anubis. He could see the desire in his son for her and the anger and hate in the eyes of Akasha.

He stood up and offered Rain a hand so she might stand more easily. Again a hush fell over the court and he turned to Rain. "I wish for you to accomany me, when I tour the outer lands of my kingdom. The many new villages and the peoples there I need to see and let them see me. Your lands now prosper after you have tended to them. I think they can tolerate you being gone a short time."

Akasha at this turned and left swiftly before her anger boiled over and she said something that Cain would not like, even though at the moment she really didn't care. But she did not want to lose her head, literaly.

Rain looks at Akasha standing next to Anubis wanting to not be the center of attention. She could tell those two are very close with one another. She also could see the desire in his son for Akasha and the anger and hate Akasha had for her before Akasha stormed off. Rain thinks, “She is going to kill me when I am not around her father. This is a death sentence but I want to make Cain happy.” She stands up when Cain offer his hand. At his offer, she was a bit surprised and it caused her to stumble a little which made people laugh at her. She looks at Cain and says, “I would love to but I would be no use to you. The only thing I know about the outer lands is that it is very harsh to live there and many tend to die.”

Cain turned his head at the laughter his eyes narrowing. He saw who was laughing and looked at each in turn to make sure they knew of his displeasure. Their laughter stopped and their faces became masks of fear. They knew what he could do and would do. They were now marked and at any time Cain's wrath could desend upon them

Turning slowly back to Rain, his eyes were soft and warm. "Your knowledge of the land and how to make things grow will be invauable. These are simple people. Hunters and Gathers that need to be taught farming and raising livestock." Placing a hand on the small of her back, he guided her through the crowds. Those that had laughed bowing and moving back to make room. As they passed many of them whispered "Please forgive." but it was not to Cain they were speaking.

Rain listened closely to what he was saying. She was good at farming but she didn't know if she could teach the others in such a short time. She walks with him through the room. She says calmly, "We would need to stay a couple weeks for each village. Farming is not an easy thing to learn in a short time. And bare the ones that laughed at me no ill will. I probably looked like a wiggling worm up there. So it is not easy to ignore something that looks funny." She was trying to get those who laughed at her out of trouble even though she was still very embarrassed and a little upset at herself.

She was still getting use to being around the Lord in such a casual way. She could see that his many lovers were in the crowd as well. She could see they wore the slutiest clothes to keep his attention. But it didn't seem to work. Rain was not like them. She was wearing a silk dress that showed off her curves and womanly features without showing much skin at all. That way she looked attractive without looking like she would let any man in her bed. She was a respectable young woman and she's going to make sure even the lord knew that. She says to Cain, "I will need a little time to pack. I could be ready within an hour or two if you would not mind waiting that long."

Cain listened to her as they walked and as they approached the door to the Throne Room, he turned and looked back at his court, at the ones that laughed. "You have Rain here to thank for your lives." was all he said and then guided her out. There were those one could see breath a sigh of relief while others hung their heads low as the two turned again to leave the Throne Room.

"We have a couple days before I plan to leave. You will have plenty of time to pack what you wish." To teach them she said she would need at least a weak in each community. He would be gone longer then he had anticipated but that did not matter to him. More farms, more food for the humans, the more they would reproduce. More people to keep building on his city and the villages of his kingdom.

He left her at her chambers in the castle. Rooms that he had set aside for her when she came to the city. He raised one of her hands to his lips and kissed it. He knew he could have her if he wanted and she would probably let him. But for some reason he wanted to hold off on that. Besides he did have a number of female vampires whose bodies he enjoyed.

Akasha was now plotting. She had to find a way to rid her of Rain without bringing suspision upon herself. Rain would be going with Cain on his tour of the out laying communities. An assassin could be arranged to make it look like one of the new humans had done it. She quickly sent word to the first community that he was to visit, to one of her loyal creations there.
