Arching a brow as he actually laughed, she just watched him. It was actually nice and she wondered what the doc sounded like when he laughed. " there ya go.. laugh more. less nervous you are the less nervous i am. " she shrugged and stepped on the scale.staying still for a moment, seeing the weight and actually blinked.. " huh.... " she lost atleast three pounds. But she didn't know what the time frame was since the doc refused to tell her what day it was.

Shaking her head she stepped off then then frowned and stopped at the intern. " erm... you skipped a step i think. you said you was going to take my height too. " she couldn't help but remind him, not wanting him to get in trouble and all. " No offense, but there better be a changing screen in here. I am not very comfortable at the moment to shift errr.. in front of you and the others. " oh sure she had no problem in front of the doc.

Then again it would help her resist the urge to jump every one. Or risk the doc coming in and noticing her small weight loss. She eyed the treadmill however, eager to get on it. " unless you want that measurement after the running. its no big deal for me."

"It's alright, I'll get that in a little bit but you looked like you could use some running" he told her and grabbed a few monitors. The kid started to hook the wires onto her, two on her upper chest right above her breast then a few on on her legs, a heart monitor and one band of sensors that wrapped around her head like a sweat band. "No worries. I think that the Doctor Cross is going to be the only one present during your second portion on the treadmill because once he gets back the interns get to go to lunch" he explained to her and then stepped back checking the sensors. "Alright you are all set. Please start off slow so the monitor has a chance to warm up and then after about ten minutes you can pick up the pace and if you want periodically increase the speed" he told her and then grabbed a chair taking a seat with his clipboard.

Skylar had spent at least ten minutes dodging Marshall's questions and trying to figure out a way to deter the guy. He had finished about half his lunch and could already feel his energy coming back to him so he decided to push his food from him. There was no need to cap his energy otherwise he would shift way too easily if someone angered him. "What is it that you do here Marshall?" Skylar countered and saw a partial smile crack across the guys face. "This and that. I'm mainly a guy they need for odd jobs. Watching over troops out in the field, running paperwork and several more things" Marshall waved his fork around as he explained like it was no big deal. "I guess that answers my question..." Skylar sarcastically told him taking a sip from his water "Well you've got..." he looked down at his watch "about another thirty-five minutes to harass me before I've got to get back" he told Marshall and that seemed to throw him off a bit but then continued talking.

She frowned then shrugged" well alright, up to you. " she held still, letting him put on the various contraptions. " watch your hands mister" she grinned as he applied the one above her breast. Once he was done she felt highly odd with all of it on. " Well alright. slow start it is." going to the treadmill she sighed as she started it up slowly going at first as a lazy run. " Let me know if i go to fast. "

The intern wrote down her vitals before she started to run and then sat back against the chair, this was the best part of all of this. He could keep an eye on her and still rest some, that was something he still couldn't get used to. Doctor Skylar expected them to be in the lab at 5 sharp and not leave until eleven at night but he always saw the doctor in his office before anyone even came in and would always be the last to leave. "You're doing just fine" he told her and glanced at the monitor's every now and again.

Skylar had lied, he couldn't take talking to Marshall much longer and waited until he was finished with his sentence and got to his feet. "Alright well I'm going to cut you short by about twenty minutes. Sorry but I should be getting back" he told him and threw his trash away and quickly left the cafeteria. He was glad when the guy didn't follow him and he could return to the lab with out any other disturbances. Skylar was happy to find that the interns were all working and Limos was on the treadmill. That meant that his tests were almost complete but also the fact that he had yet to come up with a plan to get her out of there. He moved over towards the intern and looked over his shoulder at his notes and nodded his head. He then turned his attention towards Limos however he wasn't actually looking at her but noting her bodies movement as she ran.

She was so focused on running again that she didn't even notice that Skylar had come in again. Mentally in her mind she was counting the minutes until past ten then carefully began to speed up her running, reaching over to adjust the treadmill as well until she was at a fast but steady and comfortable pace for herself that she would be able to hold for a while.

Closing her eyes she grunted, wishing she had her ipod. craving some Hinder and a few other of her favorites as she ran. Without opening her eyes, she asked the intern " is this alright?"

Skylar continued to observe her running as well as his interns out of the corner of his eyes, the others seemed to be relaxed and he wondered why. But the feeling soon passed when he looked down at the paperwork once more as the intern wrote the changes in Limos' monitor. "That's great, however not too fast because I'm not sure the treadmill can keep up and I don't want you wearing yourself out too fast" he told her though he was unaware of just how much energy she really had. Skylar gritted his teeth once his intern spoke and didn't like the tone he was using.

Skylar laid a hand on the guys shoulder making him jump once more, 'guess I am that scary...' he thought to himself and cleared his throat. "All of you can leave for lunch break" he told them but held the young intern in place for a little bit longer. Once the others were out of the room he escorted the guy over to the door "We don't get results by being buddy buddy with the test subject" Skylar told him and refused to hear any excuse from him and cut the short by dismissing him.

Skylar then locked the door once more and walked back over to Limos on the treadmill. He snatched the clipboard off the chair and placed it on a near by table so that he could sit. "Here soon you can take a break and eat something before the second part of the test" Skylar told her in a monotone and just focused his attention on the monitor so he could take his mind off the interns tone earlier and the fact that Limos was cooperating so well for the kid.

Hearing the intern, she gave a soft laugh " boy i can keep up this pace for several long ass hours. " she muttered, glancing over and actually nearly tripped when she spotted skylar, it was a surprise none the fact and the slight mishap with her footing almost had her face planting it but she managed to quickly correct it and resume her normal pace again.

Rolling her eyes as she watched him from the corner of her eye as he dragged the kid to the side. When the room was all empty but him and her she glanced at him again. " be nice to the kid. least he is getting the tests done for you. with out any fights mind you. " she mumbled, shaking her head.

At the mention of lunch she glanced quickly over at him. " whats for lunch. no veggies. not a big fan of them and i am allergic to peanuts just so you know. " she grimaced, she found that out the hard way one day. eating chinese food with toasted peanuts in it. she had the worst case of the hives ever plus a swollen throat that nearly killed her.

She glanced at him again then back at the treadmill tray, watching the own monitor on that. " and stop calling me test subject like i am some sort of object. I have a name you know. " damn the male irked her sometimes. though she had to wonder if he was a bit jealous or not.. That thought seemed to please her greatly. " Milk with lunch?" she was barely out of breath even now so it was easy still to keep talking to him.

Skylar was slightly board at the moment only because he wanted to see Limos in her panther form running. He was already able to view her running in human form now he wanted something that would entertain him. "Interns are handled my way and I don't appreciate them getting close to yo-the subjects" Skylar had to take a quick breath to calm himself down, he hadn't realized how much things were affecting him. Then again he wasn't used to many emotions besides anger and boredom. Skylar cleared his throat and grabbed a nearby clipboard just to get his mind on something that he knew would occupy it. "Lunch will be a rounded meal for you so yes there will be some veggies" he told her give her no choice on that one. "For the governments records and its employees your name doesn't matter so get used to it" that was the way to go, just act like his usual cold self so he wouldn't get so attached to her even though inside he wanted to actually get to know her. "Milk is a possibility. Also you have another ten minutes until the next part of the test."

She snorted" good luck getting me to eat veggies.. I don't like them and they don't sit well with my stomache. " she slid a glance at him. " you of all people should know that. being what i am. " she muttered , her diet had always been like that since she was a child. if she lacked a certain nutrient, she usually had to take pills or some sort of drink to make up for it since she couldn't get it from a vegetable.

Not caring for his cold attitude, she returned her gaze back to the wall." whatever. just let me know when its time. " she grumbled, getting irritated with him all over again. the man was just.... irking her nerves. Granted she enjoyed certain things about him though.

He gritted his teeth but kept a lot of his comments to himself, it would only make the situation worse however the knock at the lab room door didn't help either. Skylar got to his feet and stood there for a minute "Alright, your time is up" he told her and then walked over to the door. He barely cracked it open and wanted to slam the door shut however he only gripped the door handle almost to the point of denting the metal "What do you want?" Skylar growled through clenched teeth "I have been informed that I must watch over your tests seeing as how you have kicked all your interns out" Marshall told the now pissed off Doctor. "You've got to be kidding me. What do they not trust me now?" He hissed as he stepped away from the door to let Marshall in "Seeing as how your tests are getting to the point where you seem to lose all your subjects, yes" Marshall showed as much hostility now as Skylar was and that confused the Doctor. Marshall always put up with his attitude and turned it into a joke but now it seemed like he was showing his true colors "Fine but you can wait in my office until after she transforms" he pushed Marshall into his office and closed the door.

She slowed her pace down until she was walking then stopped, catching her breath as she tilted her head toward the door, frowning as she sensed the hostility from the two, she reached for the towel and began to wipe the sweat off her face as she unhooked the monitors, being as she couldn't shift with them on.

Stepping off onto the floor she sat down on the abandoned chair and began to take her shoes off. tossing them aside and her socks till she was barefooted. She felt calmer after that run and was eager for another. in her panther form would feel good." everything okay? hope no tests came back bad or something"

Skylar turned to Limos when he was sure that Marshall was going to stay in his office and noticed her already stripping off the sensors and making herself comfortable. That brought a little smirk to his face and walked up to the machine to get the sensors picked up. "Remember when I told you that you weren't the only one caged here" he told her and motioned towards his office door. "Well there's a prime example for you" he growled out trying to forget that he was being watched more bluntly. Skylar got all the wires picked up and cleaned off so that they would be easier to apply when she transformed and then turned to the treadmill to reset the preferences. "Alright well once you are finished getting ready I will apply the sensors once again but this time I'm going to have you start off at a high speed on the treadmill because I think I have enough data for the low speed. I want to see how fast you can get" he told her, it was better for him to talk about work then it was to think about slipping up in front of a snoop. "So whenever your ready."

She frowned and slid a glance towards the office, oddly enough a low growl actually sounded from her before she blinked then shook her head and got up. had no problem stripping in front of Skylar then easily shifted, it was fast as usually but she took a moment to stretch out stiff and sore muscles before looking up at him with her green eyes.*

It was interesting the way that she transformed, as like before Skylar saw how easy it was for her and there was no other part to her transforming unlike him. His was was too noticeable and wished his was like hers but he shook his head quickly and picked up the wires. Skylar started to apply the monitors and then stepped back. "All done" he told her and walked over to the treadmill to set the speed that he wanted her to start at and then took a seat near her. "The treadmill will start up once you are on it" he explained to her. Now he could sit back and think over a few things with out any conversation getting in the way.

Skylar just remembered that he had to grab Marshall from the room but he thought about just leaving him in there till he was done 'better not piss him off' he thought and got to his feet. He just opened the door and walked back to his seat "no snide comments and please keep the talking to a minimum" he ordered Marshall after taking his seat once again.

She held perfectly still as he applied the wires before she rolled her shoulders and yawned wide, then stretched again before eying the treadmill then glanced to where marshall had come in, her ears went back and another rumbling growl came from her as she hissed and bared her canines at him. then dismissed him as nothing more then a bug and climbed onto the treadmill, soon as it started, she was easy to get into the fast pace, stretching her legs out as long as they would go as she went at a flat out run.

Marshall glanced over at the cat and smirked before taking his place behind Skylar. He wanted to make sure nothing went wrong before the higher up government officials could get their hands on the shifter. "Seems the cat doesn't like me" he said softly and Skylar gritted his teeth "did I tell you not to talk" he commented and Marshall rolled his eyes "You said to keep it at a minimum. Besides with your clearance it doesn't give you the right to order me around" Marshall smirk and Skylar turned to face him with electricity in his eyes "We have the same clearance so what does it matter" he spit out and Marshall's smirk turned into a full smile "That's where you're wrong. My clearance has been brought up two levels" he said smoothly "Since when?" Skylar couldn't help but have surprise in his voice and his mind told him that this was the plan all along with Marshall. Get close to him and expose his secrets "About four days ago. I had inquired about some anomalies in your paperwork."

Skylar turned away from Marshall, getting to his feet to look at the treadmill. She seemed to be doing alright with the speed so he increased it a little more, however after this point it wouldn't go any faster and the test would be done unfortunately. "No smart remark Skylar, no denial to my accusations, hm?" Marshall poked at him and he was trying hard not to turn around and punch the guy. "As of right now, I have nothing to say" was all Skylar replied.

Her ears went back again as she ran , hearing both the men and it was pissing her off that the marshall guy was actually pissing off skylar. the hair on her back actually bristled and she had half a mind to come off the treadmill and launch her self at the male, claws out and teeth bared to let him know she meant business.

Fortunately for the asshat she wanted skylar to get his results so she kept on running, the increased speed didn't bother her at all as she adjusted to it.going so fast to the point her feet barely stayed on the treadmill as she kept going. the growls getting louder though before going silent. she had a deadly sign for a predator. specially when she was so close to attacking. Her head actually turned around to pin her gaze on the male.

Skylar noticed the simple changes in Limos and wasn't sure how much longer it was going to take Marshall before he really set her off. "I suggest that you keep your mouth shut or she is going to pounce on you" Skylar commented with a bit of laughter in his voice. He only briefly glanced at Marshall who seemed only slightly phased by the tension that started to mount. "Is she your attack kitty now? Have you gotten that close to the subject? Is that how it went with the others, you got so close to them that you couldn't bare to hand them over to your bosses so you killed them" Marshall commented however his voice never changed except a bit of accusation in his voice. Skylar now glared at Marshall knowing that it probably wasn't the best idea but he did put himself in between Limos and Marshall so she wouldn't attack him "or did you do something else?" Marshall asked. "You have no grounds to base your information off of" Skylar countered and sharply turned towards Limos.

"The tests are done, here's the paperwork and now you can leave" he told Marshall after shoving the paperwork into the guys hands. "As you can tell nothing has happened to her and she will be placed back in her cage just as soon as my interns get back...which should be no more then fifteen minutes" Skylar hissed, how could this guy accuse him of such things. Though they were true but he had made sure to be careful not to get caught, so how did Marshall come to these conclusions. "Just because I leave the room doesn't mean you aren't still being watched" and with that Marshall left the room.

Once the guy was gone Skylar just sat heavily in the chair leaving Limos to run longer on the treadmill. He had cut her time short on paperwork but that didn't mean he couldn't allow her to run the full time, plus he needed just a few minutes to figure out a new plan. Skylar had to get her out now before things went really wrong, he could stand the government locking him up and testing him because he was prepared to deal with it but not some other shifter who happened to be in the right place at the wrong time.

oh she so would have pounced on marshall the moment he started to throw out accusations. even thought as far as maybe swiping Skylar on the leg or something to give him a wound as well to throw marshall off any thoughts of him getting to close to her. But Skylar had pretty much got in between her and the male which irked her. she almost stopped running then but then decided against it.

She was so irritated right now, the running was the only thing helping her with it as she continued on. glaring at the male as he even left before she was even able to relax a bit. Glancing at Skylar again and huffing at him, ears perked forward as if asking Now what?

Skylar glanced up at her with his mind still in a jumble and then glanced at his watch. He wasn't lying about the fact that the others would be back soon. Skylar barely caught her ears perking up and wondered why she had done that. Soon he got to his feet and shut the treadmill off then crouched down to her eye level. He started to gently pulled off the sensors "Everything he said was true...well except me killing the others. We did have three die on us but the others I faked and released them..." he whispered to her as quietly as he could "after the officials review my tests of you, they'll be taking over and I have no idea what they are going to do to you. I had a plan to get you out of here but not anymore, so we're just going to wing it."

Skylar glanced over his shoulder to make sure he still had time "It's about 2 in the morning now and the interns will be here soon. So once I remove the last sensor we're going to make a break for outside, it's between shift changes so hopefully there aren't that many people" he explained to her and with that he removed the sensor then bolted for the door.

she waited for the treadmill to slow down then stop before she relaxed a little more and then to her surprise, watched as he knelt down in front of her. Ears perking forward and easily picking up what he said being as her hearing doubled while she was in cat form.

It was a surprise and she watched him still, slowly blinking as she watched him. so he did used to have a plan. what a surprise. winging it was fine with her though. she could work with that.. Not bothering to shift back she waited for him to bolt before bolting after him, making it through the door before it closed, her paws silent as ever as she ran with him, eyes looking out for everything and anything.

Skylar couldn't have picked a better person to flee with, she was fast, silent and looked good doing it. As he ran down the hallway it seemed as if his feet barely hit the ground, almost like he was running so fast he was flying. He may not be silent but he was fast and he was right. There were only a few guards out in the hallway and it didn't take much for Skylar to come up behind them and make sure they wouldn't be able to move. "This way" he called over his shoulder and then took a hard right. He had been all up and down these hallways so he was sure it wasn't hard for her to follow his scent. Skylar though wanted to make sure he had a visual on her only to make himself feel better.

It took about ten minutes for alarms to start going off and that surprised him, Skylar figured they would have sent them off the moment they ran from the lab. Soon several footsteps could be heard from behind them and that made him think of how many people they had out front "We're almost there" he called to her once more and took a left turn seeing a set of large doors in front of him that lead outside.

she stuck to him as close as she could without tripping him up, when he turned a sharp corner, she did as well, almost slipping on the floor but easily regaining traction with her paws and caught up to him again. Balancing her weight out so she didn't smash into something from it.

She grunted when he spoke, ears twitching and then flinching when the alarm went off, sending almost a ringing sound through her ears but she ignored it as she saw the large doors looming up ahead, her adrenaline spike kicked in and she almost passed him up in her effort to get to the door.

Skylar was glad that she was keeping up and when they burst through the doors to the outside he froze. There were so many men standing there, blocking their way, he knew that they would have a blockade up but he never figured this many people. Maybe he hadn't walked around enough to figure out how many people were present in the building on a daily basis. There were just too many people for them to run straight through them and there's no way that they could fight them all and come out victors.

Skylar scanned the area realizing that they were being surrounded by rows and rows of guys, was it worth it to have this many men for one shifter unless they knew about him. "You won't win this way Doctor Cross" that voice was unmistakeable able which made things even more frustrating "I knew that it had to be an inside job, it just took me a while to figure out who it was but one thing that still doesn't make since..." Marshall stepped towards the center of the ring to face Skylar and Limos "Why would you jeopardize your own career for those beasts?" Marshall called out which prompted others to start whispering and agreeing with him.

Skylar looked down at Limos realizing that there was no other way to get her out of here the normal way without one of them getting hurt. He looked back at Marshall and stripped his lab coat off, tossing it off to the side. He then pulled his hair of the bun and let it fall naturally "You wouldn't have understood if I told you, however it seems that my secret can't be kept anymore" Skylar finally called out, he was happy that he had eaten earlier that day because it was going to take a lot of energy to complete his own transformation but with time pressing down on them he couldn't just do a partially transformation. Skylar stared Marshall down as a silver fog covered his body and soon the mist was so thick that no one could see him. Just as quickly as the mist started it was swept away by two large wings, revealing a black dragon that had what looked to be lighting covering his body and a blue color pulsating from the tips of the wings down his back and underside.
