Lillian sighed as she was escorted back to her home once more by her body guard Riley, It was the beginning of summer again and as usual her parents where having neighboring allies visit. She would just be happy to be left alone and allowed to ride all day but they won't let her. '' Riley really, father is just being overly protective'' she grumbled as he made sure she went inside. She knew why they where doing it, their where rumors out that kidnappers and assassin's and the like could be after her or her parents in order to throw off or change some sort of agreement her parents had with other land owners.

Riley rolled his eyes as she started up the same arguement they have always had every summer since he was assigned to protect her'' its just a precaution lady lillian, you know this and frankly i don't need your dad getting mad at me because i failed to keep an eye on you . '' he grinned slightly as he opened the doors for her and allowed her in before following her down the hallway..'' he did say however that this time if you did not want to join in on the activities of meeting these other royals that are coming for the summer, you could spend your time out in the garden. ''

Lillian sighed as she shook her head'' great, he says i don't have to join in on one party inside the walls, only to still be stuck inside the walls. '' making him wait outside her room she quickly changed out of her riding gear before picking out a simple summer dress that she liked to wear once it started to warm up. once dressed again she headed out to the gardens'' well atleast i don't have to entertain boring stuck up snobs.'' grinned, she always hated her families friends when they came over, they always stuck their noses in places it didn't belong and definitely liked to gossip. Going out into the gardens she went to the small tool shed they had for the gardeners. she was a hands one elf, and had kept the gardeners from one small area of the garden that she liked to tend to herself, it was in the back, closest to the wall, it was the only place she could keep her father from seeing. '' riley you can stay at the doors. i am just going to tend to my Lilly's for a while and think things over.. '' when he gave her a look she just rolled her eyes'' there is no way anyone else can get in here. you have the only exit covered. i honestly can't go anywhere and no one can come in.''

Riley still gave her a skeptical look before shaking his head'' allright lady Lillian.. just call if you need me'' he moved over to the door and leaned against it, watching her as she headed towards the back, the garden was large, and it was true that no one can get in, and normally other gardeners where around but for some reason he didn't see any , he just figured they where off getting a quick shade from the sun or drink. they normally did that for a second or two.

Lillian relaxed as she found her special spot, smiling as she knelt in the ground.Taking her time in pulling the weeds out before watering her plants. Hearing something she looked up and frowned, glancing around, she couldn't figure out what it was she had heard, almost like the snapping of a twig but there was none on the ground'' riley i told you to stay at the door'' dusting her hands off she got up and looked around again frowning..

TaimaWaya slips out from behind a tree without even being seen. He raises his longsword to the girls neck. "Classic mistake you watched the wrong hand." He lifts up one hand with a long thread attached to it. The string lead all the way over to two bricks with a twig jammed between it. When he pulled it again the twig snapped in half. He looks over the girl. "Lady Lillian I presume." He turns her towards the exit of the garden and says, "You are safe you are not my hit. But your fathers friend has to go. But he keeps a tight guard. So I may need your help." He presses the cold blade of his sword against her neck and says, "You will tell your guard I am a gardner and get me inside the castle after that I don't care what you do or say," He slowly starts to remove the sword from her throat as he puts a knife in her back.

(( lol its ok . i had to go to work last night so it was good. though now i am off for three nights yay! ))

She tensed up immediately the moment she felt the cold steel of his blade against her neck, half closing her eyes she looked up at him slowly, her mind already racing on what to do. She was not some regular old elf princess. she had been taught to defend herself and she was extremely smart on out maneuvering her enemies. '' you presume right.. .. and i highly doubt my guard will believe that, he usually knows all the gardeners. '' when he removed the blade from her throat only to put one to her back she sighed. '' besides, their are more guards inside then just mine.. how do you think your going to get passed them huh ?" that and she wasn't stupid. she had seen him, she highly doubt he was stupid enough to leave a witness. considering every elf in the area was a definitely good tracker and can easily find even the most skilled assassin.

TaimaWaya smiles and says, "I have done it hundreds of times in way more well guarded places then this and I have yet to find an elf who can track or stop me." He smiles and says, "Thats right I am the assassin that everybody knows of but have yet to even put a picture to the face." I have assassinated some of the most guarded men in world and nobody has as much of an glance at my face." He places the knife in her back and says, "But you do make a point. Your guards are more adept to the people." He smiles and says, "I guess you will be seeing me later." He pulls the knife out of her back and pulls a hood over his face as he turns and dashes for the wall running right up the front of the wall and leaping over the top.

she snorted'' thats another understatement.. hey!" blinked as he moved away from her before watching him dash up the wall. '' could have used the gardeners door'' grinned as she headed straight for it, she was the only one who knew about it since her father really wouldn't approve of it if he knew. slipping through the door she spotted him again. '' so your just going break in here then just leave?" she couldn't have that. she was a good tracker and could easily follow him.

TiamaWaya laughs and says, "Well the rumors are true. Lady Lillian doesn't know when to give up." He smiles and snaps his fingers as a whole bunch of bandits leap out of allies and from behind large objects with bows and arrows and other weapons. He looks at the leader of the bandits and says, "She is all yours. Like I promised." He smiles as he reaches out and says, "I will take my fee." He smiles and takes the sack of money form the bandit leader and started to leave the scene when more bandits showed up and corned him and forced him next to Lillian. The leader looks up and says, "Sorry but I can't have any witnesses telling everybody who ran off with the princess." TiamaWaya smiles and says, "You had a good deal and now you have killed your self." He pulls his elven longsword from his waist and his elven axe off of his back and squares off with all of the bandits and shows a small smirk.

Her eyes widened slightly as she glanced around before sighing'' riley was right. trouble does find me all the time'' mumbled as she glanced at the bandits,slugging the one that was closest to her who had tried to grab her, arched a brow as his buddy seemed to back up a little. '' not a defenseless little princess you know.. '' she sighed as she glanced at the assassin.. '' barely met you and your already a pain in my ass. ''

TaimaWaya glares at her pain in your ass. "I was hired to do one thing bring you to these bandits but since the want to turn in to royal idiots I will be forced to slay them and go on my merry way." And with that comment he ducks under an incoming punch and slices a bandit in half. The man scream out loud before gargling on his own blood to death. The guards heard the noise as they came flying from everywhere to aid there precious princess. In the confusion the assassin disappeared and one of the royal men who had came to make amends with the Lady Lillian's father was assassinated. The assassin had carried out his plan to the very letter. He stood on a roof top not to far from the castle as he listened to all the confusion as people tried to follow his trial and figure out how he got from a street fight to inside the castle to assassinate a king without anybody evening catching as much as a glimpse of him. He over looked the city with a smirk and then turns and start to walk away from the scene.

Lillian scowled as she found herself swamped by guards, she was confused considering many hands where now on her trying to pull her back inside. That and she was definitely getting an earfull from her father. They spent three hours chewing her out before she got locked in her chambers, Scowling she shrugged out of her clothing before taking a bath, getting cleaned up and dressed for bed, Just as she was going to bed she got informed by one of the servents that she was being sent to a friends because they believe there will be an attack on her. Somehow there was another rumor circulating around the town that someone would try and ransom her off since she was the only child to her parents. She didn't know why people where becoming idiots but figured she couldn't fight this one.

When morning came her parents came in and forced her to pack before she was shoved into a carriage, they continued to warn her about staying away from suspicious people before sending her on her way.. Her guard in the carriage with her. '' geez Riley this is ridiculous.. one attack on their friends and it sparks up another rumor.. '' she scowled as she slouched on the cushion of the seat. she was definitely in a foul mood. though her mind was still on the assassin every now and then. wondering who had sent him and exactly what they would gain from killing her fathers friend.

TaimaWaya watching the the carriage threw a short knife to scare the horses. When the horses jumped he leaped off the roof and landed next to the carriage. He then slipped into the carriage and sat next to Lillian he leans his head back and then relaxes he looks over at Lillian and says, "Did you miss me." He smiles widely and says, "I prefer not to see someone more then twice it makes it kinda of a personal thing." He smiles and says, "You were just hired a new bodyguard." He looks at her and says, "I normally don't take these kind of jobs but your father can be a very persuasive guy." He shows another smile. The hood still covering his face. Everything except his mouth.

Lillian yelped when the horses jerked to a stop before blinking in surprise when the assassin just appeared in the carriage. Arching a brow at him she scowled'' oh man i thought i was rid of you '' sighed as she glanced at Riley who didn't even appear to do anything but just stare at the new guy as the horses started up again.. glancing at him again she frowned'' you serious? why would my father hire you?"

TaimaWaya smiles and leans in close and says, "Think about it could have killed you numerous times yesterday. Even after the street fight I was only a couple hundred meters away. Meaning you were just within reach of this bow." He leans back and looks up his face still covered he says, "Plus I am the only assassin who face nobody has seen. Thus no body know who I am or what I am doing until its too late. That and my skills are undeniable. You saw a couple of moves yesterday. Those where just warm ups and yet I still made it over 200 meters away and into the castle up six stories before that petty little street fight could be broken up. Just as I planed." He stretches his legs and says, "Well I don't know about you but I am tired I am going to sleep."

she stared at him still in shocked disbelief before he mentioned that he was going to sleep. she scowled, having a very sudden urge to shove him out of the carriage but didn't act upon it, at least not yet, she would bid her time.'' ahh used to be no one saw your face.. i saw it'' grinned slightly '' so you can't brag about that anymore. '' she glanced at her other guard but he was fast asleep but she knew better than to do anything since he was a very light sleeper and could be up after hearing even a small pin drop.

TaimaWaya's eyes fired up. "Trust me you have not seen my face. I never showed it. The hood was placed over my head and when it wasn't. TaimaWaya took the hood off his hood which showed a small mask that covered his nose and up. The mask was white with wolf ears and dark blue tribal markings all across the face. He smiles and says, "I would never be that reckless as to let you see my face." He then turns to Riley and says, "I am going on watch." TiamaWaya opens the door and flips on top of the carriage and looked over the city as the exited the front gate.

she scowled at him again before watching him leave to go on the roof of the carriage, glancing at riley she snorted'' why do i get the feeling you knew about this too ?"

Riley shrugged'' nope.. your just assuming'' he grinned innocently as he went to get out'' i think i will go ride one of my horses and follow as another watch.. i get the feeling you want to drag me by a certain part of the body behind the carriage.. '' with that he jumped out of the carriage and grabbed the reigns of his horse and hopped on. looking up at the roof at Taimawaya. '' you know.. if your not carefull she will get you .. '' he grinned '' and i don't mean in the fighting sense..''

TaimaWaya looks at her and says, "You think she will get a look at my face." He smiles and says, "I would like for that not to happen last person to do that I was forced to kill." He looks over at Riley. "Nobody sees my face unless I say so." He then stands up and says, "She is traveling with all of these guards? This is just asking for a bandit attack." He points this out to Riley. Then he looks down at Riley and says, "There really is an hit out on her. Her father got to me before who ever is putting the hit on her did." He looks up and says, "I don't mind fighting constantly I just don't want to take the chance of loosing to many innocent guards to killed in political indifference.

Riley shrugged. '' i understand, trust me he wanted more guards but i managed to talk him down to half. he wouldn't budge any more after that'' he glanced back at Lillian who was now laying down and had her eyes closed, he knew she wasn't really asleep yet.. '' if she is determined to see your face i would be carefull. she is a stubborn elf..'' he grinned'' and i hear talk about her father trying to get her married off.. she doesn't know yet because he knows lillian will not have it.''

TaimaWaya laughs and says, "Yeah the stubborn just gleams off of her." He smiles and says, "Riley you are a good man. So this is what I am going to do." I am going to protect you if you protect Lillian in the upcoming fights." He smiles and says, "You do your job and I will do mine okay." He looks up and says, "It shouldn't be long before they strike."

Riley grinned. '' yea. '' frowned before glancing around'' we are almost in their friends territory though.. its heavily guarded their shouldn't be anyone else there.. '' he glanced at lillian again but this time he noticed she actually was asleep., keeping his horse close to the carriage he slowly scanned the area again. keeping an eye on the places that looked like good spots to hide someone.

TaimaWaya grabbs his axe as he looks around. "Riley get the men inside the gate now." He looks up as he leaps up with his longsword in one hand and his axe in his other hand. He looks around waiting to see where the enemy would be coming form. "Riley quickly forget about the princess and get the people guards inside the gate. I will protect Lillian." He leaps off the carriage stopping it his eyes darting around then finally his sword shot out slicing a sword in half.

riley frowned as he kicked his horse foward, shouting at his men to go through the gate, he had reached for the reigns of lillians carriage horses, when he was suddenly told to leave them, nodding slightly he ushered the rest of his men inside the gates even though he was more worried about lillian then anything.

Lillian blinked in surprise as the carriage was jerked to a stop, causing her to roll off the seats and onto the carriage floor'' whats going on ?"

TaimaWaya opened the carriage door and glares at Lillian. "Time to put your skills to the test. You need to run out and unhinge the horses and get ready to ride out. While you do this I will cover you. I sent Riley and everybody else ahead so they think the princess is with them." He turns around and slices down another arrow. "Move now Lillian I fear we and Riley both are in trouble. Quick get the horses and move."

Lillian stared at him for just a second before moving quickly, leaving her bags in the carriate she stayed on the side of it, making her way to the horses. when she got there her fingers moved quickly to unstrap the carriage from them, yanking straps off here and there before moving them foward to unhook the bars of the carriage from them, grabbing the dapple gray horse by the reigns she pulled herself up before holding the reigns for the black horse. '' ready.''

TaimaWaya turns slashes down two more arrows. Then turns to Lillian. "Get on the horse!" He yelled as he backed towards her. When she jumped on the horse he smacked away two more arrows. He then leaps on the other horse and smacks then smacks Lillian's horse on the rear sending it flying off then he took of after it looking around to see if any more arrows where coming there way."

when her horse jolted foward, she held on tight to the reigns, leaning close to its neck to help it run faster as she looked back at taimawaya. making sure he was following before looking at the gates.

riley watched, worried and anxious as he watched the horses near. '' come on now. your almost safe.''
